Looks like you are doing a really good job of tending to yourself through the discomfort! I also insist on bringing the decks that are most important with me traveling instead of the “safe” choices.
Excellent choices!! I really enjoyed hearing your thought process and seeing the different deck pairings. 💫 Wishing you safe travels and happy researching! 💕
I would love to see some pics and stories about tarot reading in Mumbai! I’m also following you on Instagram now so I don’t miss anything. How exciting!
Oh woww!! I love travelling to India~ I just went to Chennai & Delhi few weeks ago~ and YES! I do brought along my Tarots!! Haha~ I love all your videos!! Keep it up~ 🥰🥰🥰❤️ 🌟 Redsyleen From Malaysia 🌟
Had TSA search specifically for decks in carry-on - both in tins and in zippered jump drive cases. Did not dig grubby plastic gloves handling them. I imagine I looked like a guilty, high-anxiety passenger with nefarious intent, when he said that's what he wanted to look at, LOL. Best wishes for safe travels! I don't think it's excessive at all, and love your choices.
This was such a great video! I do the same thing when going on a trip- it really helps ease the anxiety just a little. If you’re feeling isolated, the wonderful thing about this community-I’ve found- is that people with the same interests are just a Wi-Fi’s distance away. If you’re in need of some tarot talk distraction, I’m always on Instagram to message!🤗
What a WONDERFUL collection to travel with. I love the blend of the Black Madonna with your Ritual Tarot. 💚💚💚 will be sending calm and joyful energy for your wonderful trip.
You bring tarot decks when you travel like I used to bring books with me - thankfully decks take up less space. I love it! I'd be curious to know if tarot readers in India predict death the same way that the astrologers do. I hope your trip is all around fruitful and fabulous. I look forward to your future videos!
I was born in Austin, tx and raised in the us, and parents are from south India. Im Hindu, studied Vedic Astro over the last few years off and on and really into tarot and Oracle recently. I have lots of thoughts on all of these things, started my own channel as well so I’m really happy I found your channel 🙂♥️ Looking forward to hearing about your travels!
I travel a lot and I usually get stopped for the decks I bring in my carry-on. I never would've thought. One of the TSA employees told me its because the boxes have sharp edges 🤷♀ What a cool opportunity! Safe travels and enjoy your time in India!
I've had that happen too, only mine was in a zippered jump drive case, no sharp corners, so I think it looks like a brick of something, they don't know what. I remember my anxiety skyrocketing at his dirty plastic gloves that he's been rummaging around in everyone else's stuff on my Robert M. Place Saints deck. That was the last time I took a deck I couldn't easily replace!
Your research sounds so cool! Are you getting in touch with readers in Mumbai ahead of time or are you going to seek them out once already there (or do you know them from past trips?). Also would you say tarot is more socially acceptable in India than the US? Is it used and regarded in the same way you mentioned astrology is used/seen? Also loved your deck picks!
that’s so cool you are traveling for research. Wishing you an awesome trip and birthday. 💜 I I’ve been looking for the mini golden rider too. It’s hard to find or catch it on time when I see it for sale on fb. I think your deck selection is great. Would you be blogging or giving us updates while you are there? That would be so interesting and fun. 😁😊
Looks like some lovely travel companions you’ll be bringing with you, and a very well-rounded and thoughtful spiritual toolbox! I watched a documentary series about matchmaking in India, and was so intrigued about the weight astrology holds for the process. Wish you fruitful research, safe travels, and good luck with the decks through security… been there as well 😅
Really enjoyed watching your process of choosing decks to take with you. Gorgeous choices yet so brave to take such hard to find decks - but hey, what's the point in having these decks and not using them right?! I love India and look forward to watching your updates. I've had astrology, palmistry & crystal readings in India but not tarot. They were very wealth/health orientated and they weren't afraid to predict my death 😂 Will be interesting to see how tarot is approached. Happy travels 💚
I hear you on the birthday struggle, I turned 35 on June 23rd. I went to Bangalore, India but it was only a week. Mad respect for traveling alone, I can't imagine. On the way back I didn't get to sit with the person I traveled with and we hit turbulence over Saudi Arabia I believe and instinctively I reached over and grabbed a random woman's hand and she was shocked for a second and then realized I was scared and calmed down and slightly smiled at me 😅 but yeah um if you like ever want to talk just to feel less alone lemme know 💖 I'm on IG or can email you my phone number or something. Totally not being a creep, but i met Joan B on here and we just went on vacation and looked through decks and explored a historic town which was cool. I think a lot of us single women feel alone 🤷
