im from an african country, i have the money to buy decent cubes but i can't afford the shipping on mainstream website (30 dollars for a 15 dollar cube), there's still a puzzle shop who sells moyu budget cubes and that's where i got my cube from, but i finally got a weilong wrm that should arrive in few months (chinese websites ^^')
I have had a Rubik's Cube for a couple years. I learnt to solve it about a year ago. I recently got the Moyu RS3M for $10 and started learning CFOP. My average is around 1 min.
@@captainrex9334 keep working on it! You can get quite low with beginner method, I think my best was 36 seconds. Or you could go straight to CFOP, which I'm in the middle of learning. If you do that, learn f2l first
I am currently the box collector, but I will throw out the boxes (that I still keep the cubes that I don't want to get dusty in) when I get shelves [I just moved house]
Just got a PB of 2:17, really fast, yesterday I did in in 4 minutes! The first layer took me a minute, second layer about 30 seconds, OLL in 17 seconds and PLL 30 seconds, and of course, I learned it all from J Perm!

Hi I have a question, 2 months ago I won a quyi non magnetic 3x3 cube. Then I think in 2-3 weeks I learned how to solve it with a combination of beginner cfop (from the booklet i got in the cube box) and 2x2 method from jperm. In that time I also got and learned how to solve a 2x2 and piraminx. Then I updated my 3x3 to a rs3m 2020 lite but I did not know it was lite so I hadn’t the spring sistem in there. I also got the 4x4 the megaminx and the mirror bloks and after that I got a gan 356 m (I am not completely sure or I got that right) and now less then two months after I learned how to solve a 3x3 i avg 54 seconds and my pb is 36 seconds and I am learning full pll I already 2-look oll and I am planning on learning full oll and f2l. Is that good? Or at least not bad?

If i had to choose between the last two, i would take the "VERY slow one" instead of the "extremely fast guy", because when you're slow, you're way happier abour your times since they are constantly improving. When you get to sub 20 or even sub 10 levels, you're not as happy with your times anymore since you won't be improving that fast anymore.
My pb is like 1:30, I have a Chinese cube, not a brand one, just some Chinese letters in the middle and it’s with stickers. It turns kinda good for a cheap cube. But boy do I need a damm upgrade
I fall under the newish non cuber. Kind of. My method is F2L (though some piece placements are hard). The last layer is combination of OLL and beginner method. Still learning that part. I'm too slow to even time myself. I'm using rubik's cube. What's a good cube to use? I looked at Gan 11M Pro, but that's too expensive.
Agree with the Moyu RS3M 2020, but pretty much anything sold as a speed cube is going to feel and move better than a Rubik's brand. If money's really tight, the Qiyi Warrior S is a $4-$5 cube that looks and feels really good and is fun to solve. No magnets, so it's a little less stable and has to corner cut more, but 2016 wasn't that long ago, really.
I got 11 seconds pb with a budget moyu mielon non magnetic and not a single drop of lube I think I'm the fast but poor but I'm not poor I just can't buy online 😅 And I never dropped a box
I am a new cuber and the first time i solved on was 3 days ago and my time was 3:46 but 3 days later my best time is 1:55 (one time 1:43 but that was a easy scramble
I totally agree with no. 5, my classmate is so annoying. He keeps on showing off this Gan cube and does not know how to solve(also show off to me when I also have a Gan cube and know how to solve)
When I bought my YJ MGC 4x4, I made the mistake of adding lube to it. I spent one month trying to overuse the lube cuz it was just fast in an ultradimensional level
how obout: The one who don't want to be faster (can only solve the cube by the LBL method and don't want to learn CFOP[I know so many persons like this])
Number five is my friend he saw me doing the Rubik’s cube and I have the Rs3m 2020 and so when he saw me he bought a gan cube for 30 dollars and he can’t even solve it.
I have a over lubed 2x2 cube. God no matter how many time I wiped this thing off, it’s like it’s making its own lube. It’s like they give it a lube bath and then jammed the whole thing into the box 🤣
1:39 I actually use that method, same algorithms, everything, that’s actually pretty funny, my personal best is 50 seconds and like… 7 milliseconds or sth I don’t remember and my cube isn’t even that good *SO I AM SO MUCH BETTER MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA* _jk_
