Incredible stuff! This video is inspiring, everyone loves a kickflip but you really bring to light the variety and how much fun you can have with just one trick. I love that you nailed them all too, looking good man! That final bonus hippy late double was insane! XD
3:05 that was my beginner kickflip lol. i knew what a kickflip looked like but for whatever reason when i was learning them my foot position was more narrow and back like that and thats just how i did them
3:56 The old-school flip, do you also push with your other foot the board down? Because for me I found it to be a combination of pushing on one side and pulling on the other so that the board lands under me and not behind me if I just pull. But looking at you I definitely should re-examine my foot positioning, my stance is an unstable equilibrium state XD :D
I’ve been skating for almost 2 weeks and when I try to kick flip I always do a rocket flip and almost popsicle myself, the only thing I can really do is olie on a box and 180 out, or that’s the coolest thing I can do, but I’ll keep trying to work on those kickflips😉
Great video as always and impressed as usual! However, didn't you miss the "regular late kickflip", as in do a an ollie and wait to flip until you are on your way down?
dude, have you ever done a video about your preferences of decks sizes, wheels, where to find your awesome zelda griptape, etc... ? from beginning until now? was looking for griptape and ended up lost on the web. so... i ask the boss directly. also, your decks are easily shippable to europe? love your job, cheers from a neighbor in france.
That last one was insane! My worst fall was during a hippie jump, caught my foot on a chain and had to have minor surgery afterward. Late double flip was insane! You’re a street wizard.
I thought of this before, making a series on different ways to do tricks. I know 3 different ways to Varial Kickflip, that's what brought it to mind. Good idea for a video series, definitely
Great favorite tricks of mine: - Double Kickflip = 500 pts. - Triple Kickflip = 1.000 pts. - Fingerflip = 800 pts. But I miss my very favorite one: Kickflip-Underflip = 1.500 pts. (Special Trick)
@@lory469 It is difficult indeed, but you can exaggerate it. Never forget, skateboarding is difficult in general. But difficulty is relative the same way as space and time. If a trick is easy or not, mainly depends on if you mastered it yet.
@@TIJEY-BEG yeah yeah, skateboarding of course is difficult in general, but when we talk about flatground, i can tell that kickflip underflip is for sure Tier1 in difficult, but of course is 1 of the 2487 of the trick you can find in T1 , i know what im talking about but yeah, everyone have a different prospective
Jonny you're my favorite skater. You can do literally anything and you're so humble about it all and you love to teach. I wish I could learn from you in real life.
I have a question. Why would you dislike this video? When you know in general that it doesn't do any good to the presenter of the video in the youtube algorithms? In particular to the rather smaller ones. It is a fantastic youtube thing that was worth my while. As always. Thanks Jonny.
Yea but youtube is not content creator friendly so a dislike cab effect you and also people a dumb and dont know what they like, even if you didnt like this video why woupd you dislike it doesnt effect anyone it just a video showing kickflips no need for a dislike if johnny was doing stuff to harm people thwn sure dislike but hes no hea just creating intresting physics
Thanks for the answers and those that may come to the comment. I was just wondering. Because the videos of this Channel do not express opinions but simply provide entertainment through skateboarding the average and even pro level may not achieve. What's to dislike? I leave it there guys. Thanks for answering. Cheers
Bro thank you so much for these videos. I used to skate so much as a kid and now at 31 I went our and bought a new deck and im getting back into it. I have loved even just rolling around again and the feeling of being back on the board. These videos have been really helping so thank you 👍
@@thesk8erofgod when you flick your foot forward for the Ollie, right before it levels out, you wanna bring it up and back in, to keep your foot from being in the way of the lateflip Edit: I'll make a video when I figure it out
@@pigandrunt People like you only complain about pointless shit and every video. Just shut up and enjoy content. I enjoy every video this guy comes out with and you should too if you have respect for skating. Innovation is key and theres tons of different ways to Ollie lmao. Get real
Really helpful! Thanks and none of my friends could kickflip and they always ask me how to do and I teach them and now all of my friends can kickflip! Thank you so much!
this is nice, always was hoping someone would put together one more thorough than I had, but you missed one of them. I did 4: kickflip, lateflip, oldschool kickflip, and PRESSURE toeflip! You didn't do that one!
Some other kickflips to try: kickflip 180 (or 360) body varial fs and bs, ollie late kickflip (all stances - nollie, fakie, switch, regular), kickflip indy (or other grabs), kickflip into rail/primo/casper/truckstand, kickflip landed cross legged (2 ways - left or right leg crossing in front, all stances), kickflip caught with front foot way out in front like a benihana, kickflip no comply/foot plant/2 steps during flip/with a 180 body varial, handflip (pop board into your hand, tap it and it bounces off and flips, similar to fingerflip, can also use your knee/elbow), as others have said, underflip, kickflip underflip or half-flip.
Dude in the background watching the hippy late flips like... “the games stacked bro wtf” 😂. Amazing and the hippy double late flip, geez 😬, incredible...
