the burst-suppression pattern can indicate a severe and specific cerebral dysfunction.....in neonat :...OHTAHARA synd or Aicardi synd..............also diffuse background attenuation can see in SSPE or CLN.
Can you please explain me should I call diffuse if there is bifrontal slowing or bioccipital slowing.Another thing I would like to ask is how to differentiate focal slowing vs bifrontal or bioccipital slowing as frontal and occipital lobe contiminate each other.Thank you
