Regarding the bicycle trailer: Cycletote from CO is out of production now, but they used a very clever series of tube bends to make their trailers; basically it was a bunch of rounded rectangles and some cross members. They also were hitch mounted rather than skewer mounted, which arguably offers more flexibility for conversion of the trailer to other purposes (running stroller, grocery cart, whatever). Surly still offers the Bill and Ted trailers today, but it is obvious that round tubing and DIY connectors would be appealing to a lot of people. Here is another idea: what is the average seat tube diameter of commuter or cargo bikes? A clamp-on or QR connector of your design could sit between ANY customer bike and ANY trailer with a round tubing hitch (or yoke, as in the Cycletote design). The Cycletote yoke could even be used over a regular rear cargo rack, so a trailer and rack could be an "either/or" option.
I would like to see another bike trailer video. I want to place my 3 man tent on top. I think that I'd need multiple wooden floors covering the pipe. I think 2 folding pieces with hinges. Big and using support legs.
We're going to be doing another bike cart in the future for sure. We have learned a lot about making axles and things with conduit. Thanks for the comment!

Hey Unravel, thanks for the comment. This was one of the first ever builds with Maker Pipe about 5 years ago. The design could be simplified quite a bit. Before too long we will make a new one and video the process.
