Well...I loved all of these Diy's as usual, but your sweetheart angel of a Daughter had me in tears in the finally of her oragami rose... she was so patient, subtle, and informative.. the love and simplicity of her Diy spoke volumes of love.. you are truly blessed..I am speechless.

Hi, Olivia! I just watched this video for the first time, and I absolutely loved the way you use doilies in gift wrapping. Every February, I buy up Dollar Tree's doilies in all sizes and colors. My late mother was a fantastic baker, and she would always make lots of cookies at holiday time. When she made cookie trays to give to friends, she always used doilies for the base of the tray. Such a little touch that would elevate the overall presentation! I like to do this, also. I think my favorite item here that you made was the willow wreath covered in doilies. I thought that it would be beautiful to give to a bride, or to be used as decor for a shower, with iridescent glitter. I think that I'm going to make one for Valentine's Day. It's lovely! Also, I was so impressed by your daughter's skill at making the origami rose. She did it so naturally and flawlessly . . kudos to her! P.S. thanks for bringing us these Old World looks; I love shabby chic and keeping alive these looks from the past.

ALL beautiful ideas!.. My favorite is the doily wreath. I think it would be sweet to hang as it is, or decorated further; but I also like that wreaths like this would make for beautiful wedding reception table centerpieces! Lie the wreath flat, then place a candle, lantern, fairy lights, and whatever other decorative element(s) in the center of that! Voila!!! (yet as expensive or inexpensive as you'd like!).... I love the doily crafts. The wreath would be adorable for Valentine's Day as well with some pretty vintage cards attached. Victoriantradingcompany always has vintage looking cards that would be a great match to add to your projects on this video. Thrift stores often have old cards too. I am loving this series too. So many ideas swimming in my head!

I love everything you showed us. And that oragami rose: WOW. When you daughter twisted the paper, it was like magic! It's a lovely rose and I will def. be trying it. I have several faves in the doily diys: the cone, the banner, the gift wrapped box, the tag, the wreath, the gift bag, the ornament, and the place setting, ALL of them were easy, inexpensive and so pretty. Olivia thank you for sharing all your uses for doilies! My favorite were the wreath and banner, so cute! I remember my grandma would knit or crochet them when I was a kid. My mom proudly displayed them everywhere! Sadly, that art is no longer alive in my family... Would love to learn and bring them back to life! Your daughter's ability for origami is amazing! There are many wonderful people who teach on You Tube how to crochet, Those are made with thread but you can start out with yarn and simple patterns first. It's easy, its not as hard as it looks and you can make flowers too.

I have tons of those paper doilies and have never thought about doing something else with them (I do use them in my paper craft projects). These ideas were so great. I love the bottle and wreath the most, but they were all great. It amazes me how you can take an everything day object and turn it into something beautiful! Keep them coming! xoxo

I loved the doily wreath most of all, when you twisted the smaller ones to make a flower, do you have to secure it with wire before glueing it to the wreath? And your daughter is very crafty too! Very sweet.

I love, Love, LOVE IT!! Could you flip it over and tell me if there is any info on the bottom or do you know the make of it please? Thank you. I so enjoy your beautiful PINK videos! It's so funny, as a child and a younger person I just didn't want anything to do with pink but as I passed the age of 50 I began to love the color pink (mostly the lighter pinks, blush, etc.) Isn't that the funnies thing!
