Would love to see a video on unique ideas to create Christmas tree stands from thrifted items! My Mom had a wooden house her father made that you would put the tree in the chimney. We would all decorate the house and surrounding base for the holiday! My sister still has it. Loved the Nap gift! Cannot wait to make for my grandchildren!

Can hardly believe you struggle to come up with ideas as they are always so creative, pretty, and economical. Always a pleasure to see what you come up with each week. Any stocking stuffer or advent calendar gifts for kids that are fun and not expensive would be very much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!

I'm so glad I found you last month. You make me want to go to thrift stores again and find unfinished treasures. As a retired English teacher, I absolutely LOVE your book lamp. It would be nice to see your work space and how you store everything until you need them. That's my biggest problem. As for a craft, I would like to see some illuminated decorations for outdoors. I bought a lit plastic pumpkin I use every year for Halloween, but I want something homemade for Christmas, maybe something wrapped with a string of lights or anything else that could be seen from the street. Thanks for the contest.

Your gifts are fantastic and lovely! Thank you! How about this idea: Space is limited for so many of us, so miniature trees and decorations and perhaps tiny Christmas decor for small shelves. I wish you a joyous holiday season.

this is so generous of you!! i would like to see you thrifting OTHER PEOPLES treasures so they can keep a symbolic memento of all sorts of things. Like a quilt or cushion cover from a favourite article(s) of clothing. Empty nesters cant keep everything, so I find by repurposing something makes me feel like its okay to give the rest away. even old trophies repurposed as a jewelry caddy or key holder. collaging family snapshots into art...

Yes. I would like to see unique Christmas trees made with unconventional items...just smaller decor trees, not huge Christmas trees. 😂 However, I feel Sherry could make some very interesting full size trees. My mom just decorated a small tree....one that had leaves, that fell off, not a fir tree, one year, and it was gorgeous.

Since this year has been hard on so many families I would like to see videos on crafts centered on childhood Christmas memories . Everyone has felt the squeeze of rising prices and the stress of the uncertainty of times we are living in. Lets step back and refocus on simplicity . Incorporate more nature into crafting. Maybe some ragdolls, animal felt toys, old holiday music themes. Miracle on 34th, Frosty, Bing Crosby etc.

I will be using your idea for the small wood tags for some of my gifts this year...saw the wood at Dollar Tree, so now I'll go grab some. Also liked your rusty star tie on. I have some, but didn't know quite what to do with them, now I do. The bird houses into Christmas village was the best. I will be making some with my young grandkids. I never get tired of the multiple ways and uses of the jars you make! They are so inspiring and something I can see myself doing reasonably well! Your channel is the very best! Thanks for all you do!

Loved this video, definitely got ideas for gifts this Christmas. I'd love to see ideas to decorate a front porch/deck with nature inspired items. Absolutely loved the twig snowflake ornament ❤

Hi Sherry, I just love your channel. Your channel is number 1 to me. Four weeks ago my dog saw a racoon and pulled me down a set of cement stairs where my head landed on a cement frog. I had a lot of stitches above my eyes and nose but worse is 2 broken arms. Your videos have kept me company and lifted my spirits through this all, THANK YOU. It's big to me as I can not craft at all and I love crafting. My idea for an up coming video would be a forest winter scene inside a container. I also love Christmas elves and no one is doing them. Merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones.

Oh, Anita! Both arms broken and stitches on your face! I am so sorry and praying for a quick recovery! I wrote down your suggestions and will try to include them in an upcoming video. (Next week is all tree ornaments, so perhaps, the week after that.) Take care of yourself! Much love, Sherry

I am new and loving your creative ideas and channel! ❤ If you want square throw pillows that don’t bow out, cut the 90 degree corners on both sides of the angle, down into small curves at about 2 inches from the corners to about a half inch inside the original 90 degree corner, then stitch. There’s a template tool for that! Find it at a sewing supply store or online. It will show you the perfect angles to get a square looking end product. Thank you for sharing your fabulous ideas!

Hi Sherry! I would love to see your take on different Christmas tree themes. As you know it can become quite costly to change out our tree themes. Would love some budget tree 🌲 ideas!

I love your channel! I would love to see more gift items and ornaments made from natural things we all have. I wouldn’t be able to find the metal toolboxes, shutters, etc, nor would I have room to store them until I needed them. But I could find things we all have around the house or in the yard. (Loved the ideas about the pickle jars)

This video was SO FILLED with great ideas for a variety of friends. Maybe you could present several with a more childlike theme for little ones of those same friends including ornaments, gifts, warm throws in a smaller size, etc. I have enjoyed being one of your 75,000 (almost) subscribers and you are always attuned to the season with wonderful ideas. THANKS!

I would love to see some neutral Christmas decor ideas. I’m really love the idea, but all you see everywhere is bright red and green. I love your videos. Your DIYs are so well thought out and beautifully crafted. It’s such a welcome change from the other videos out there. I’m so glad I found your channel!

First of all I have to say you are so talented. I truly love everything you do from antique shopping and all your DIYs . I would go see Christmas tree ornaments for the tree that are vintage inspired but whatever you do I 'm for sure I'll love it too. I'm so glad that you have reached that number on your subscribers, but just think you'll soon be double that number. Keep bringing us beautiful DIYs and we will be here every Tuesday to watch and be amazed.

@@CanterburyCottage That’s wonderful! I think you would be surprised at how many of us crafters out here take your ideas and turn trash into treasure! I’d love a place to showcase and inspire others to try a project or two. I never thought I would be creative enough, but with your ideas and tutorials that are so easy to understand, I’m proof that ANYONE can do it! Thanks so much !!

I would love to see more ideas using scrapbook tags/papers. I watched a video recently where you used a lot of them to embellish projects and had to go to Hobby Lobby to find some and also distressing ink. I crinkled the already vintage looking tags and distressed them and added them to a potion bottle. It came out so cute! Thank you for the ideas!!

I appreciate all your videos; what I love about the things you make is that they are often unique, and not just a rehash of what every other DIYer is doing. I'd love to see what you do with ornament creation!

My favorite gift idea is the pocket pillow featuring a book in the pocket. I would like to see what Christmas decorations you could imagine and show with pine cones. Your creativity is outside the box which makes your videos always original.

I'd love to see themed decorations, not just just holidays but recurring colors or patterns so it looks like it is part of the same lot! Like sunflowers, or color blocking with various shades of green.
