10 DRASTIC THINGS To Do If You Are Going To FEDERAL PRISON
1: Tell EVERYONE!
2: Stop Taking Any Shortcuts: I had this thirst for magical shortcuts and easy-to-follow formulas.
3: Very little value from our past, but to learn from it. But that is it.
4: Embrace your tendencies
5: Get in front of people: cold walk, cold call, speak to large groups.
6: Reverse Engineer: Look 10 years out
7: Don’t Beg: Some relationships just end
8: Welcome the ridicule, the embarrassment.
9: Embrace reality, do not take the bait
10: Put yourself in their shows and overdeliver
Thank you,

I’ve never been to prison. I don’t plan on going. I am struggling in a lot of ways in life and I am not exactly sure why I first got a video suggestion from RU-vid’s algorithm- Having said that you still provide lots of good wisdom. You are interesting and I enjoy listening to your stories- I think it’s great that you have atoned and recreated yourself. Good luck w all of your endeavors moving forward. I too appreciate the stoic philosophy which you have referred to many times- Keep spreading your message and I wish you continued success-

Damn good advice. I've been a volunteer for Criminon for over 20 years. We provide life improvement courses for prison inmates. The basic course is The Way To Happiness. Our students are not white collar, but they learn to take responsibility and practice actions that helps restore their self respect. Their success stories can bring tears of joy. You can find The Way to Happiness on the Internet. I just with more people would read and apply it. Thank you for what you are doing. You are making a difference.

No time for an MBA after prison. That said, I have had the pleasure of speaking at some wonderful companies since my release!

MBA applications ask questions about felony convictions and can reject an application for that reason even if the rest of the application is top notch.

I think it's easier to avoid prison, than to deal with it. Don't do anything that will put you in prison or get blackmailed for. I don't care how much money or pleasure is involved. Not my game.

I assure you all of who are going or who went to prison, would prefer to not have gone. But we can’t change the past. Our task is to prepare for a better future.

Update that Kareem stuff. He had a very classy shout out to LeBron this morning🏀

Did you listen to the video?! Mentioning Kareem had nothing to do with LeBron, but rather how advice he gave me more than 10 year ago, helped me overcome criticism.

Ok. So here's a question. To what extent was your personal life, professionally, financially. Not personal like family and friends. But did you legitimately need. To build from the ground up or did you maintain a nest egg for your release? Looking at the difference between typical mass incarceration for, iguess you'd say "blue collar crime" or street crime. When people go into the system. It's violent and there typically is nothing at all positive awaiting their release. What was the difference in your case? Is white collar crime as devastating when punitive measure is applied? Genuinely curious. Not trying to instigate any hostility. But it seems to me the basket falls just as hard on both sides of that coin. But one side has roman columns to support it. The other simply toothpicks if anything to prop it up.

Many of the factors that contribute to "blue collar" crime ARE different from White Collar crimes. Two that stand out to me are education and family. However, families can turn against you and getting hired after a felony conviction can render education useless (professionally).
