Da kommen alte erineungen hoch als ich noch Carrossespengler war. Ich habe vor 28 Jahren ein Golf 1 verbreitert habe alle vier radläufe stumpf Autogen eingeschweisst. Leider wurde das Auto nicht so Alt😢 Supper Arbeit interesantes Video. DANKE

Ever welder will need differant setting, just work on scrap metal on the same thickness this you have your dialed, this is a key skill to learn. As a guideline, each . 001 inch of material thickness requires 1 amp of output: 18 guage is 0.0478 so start at 50amps and test.
I have a 1968 Mercury Cougar 428 Cobra Jet 4-Speed + a Gear Vendors Over-Drive for the firth gear, 3:70 posi carrier and many more goodies . I think the fenders and rear quarters panels would be perfect for the operation. This was a great video that I will watch again before cutting in. Thank You
Als Englisch-Muttersprachler fand ich das gar nicht mal soooo schlimm. Klar hört man den Akzent aber es ist ja kein Sprachkurs, sondern ein Video über Metallbearbeitung. Und da habe ich alles verstanden. Ich fand die Aufnahmen mit der Flex besonders schön, bestätigt es mich doch in meiner Aussage das kein gescheiter Karosseriebauer / Blechschlosser / Metallkünstler den Schutz an der Flex lässt. Mein Chef kriegt da immer die Krise😅. Und bevor einer meckert, ja ich weiß das es eigentlich Einhand-Winkelschleifer heißt 😁 Abonniert.

Ich fand es sogar ganz sympathisch das man scho so a weng ghört hat aus welcher Region Du kommst😅. Mal ne technische Frage Wäre es sinnvoll ( wenn man denn das Equipment und Erfahrung hat ) das ganze mit WIG zu schweißen, wg weniger Wärmeeintrag und so. Und man hätte auch viel weniger überschüssiges Material. Ist keine Kritik, sondern nur eine Frage.

Amazing work! what about leading the inside of the fender where you tapped over the part that allowed more room for the tire? that way its super sealed from any corrosion
Have you made these for a MK1 Ford Fiesta? I love the work and the craftmanship, it looks really original, compared to cutting the arches and bonding on fiberglass versions.
