Lucrezia you are so sweet, geniune and beautiful! And such a great teacher. Learning a new language is tedious but with you it is such a delight. Grazie mille, sei un angelo!

Lucrezia, sei belissima, mi piace la tua faccia e parli molto bene inglese. Spesso che imparero la lingua italiana con te. E molto bene cosa fai qui! Grazie.
Ákos Szűcs Ákos Szűcs Ákos Szűcs Ciao anche a te, Generally there are three groups of Italian verbs with three different endings: -ARE, -ERE, and -IRE. They're all conjugated in quite different ways, per esempio: (io) parlO / leggO / partO (tu) parlI / leggI / partI (lui/lei) parlA / leggE / partE (noi) parlIAMO / leggIAMO / partIAMO (voi) parlATE / leggETE / partITE (loro) parlANO / leggONO / partONO As you can see, there's some rhyme and reason. Three verbs, three different endings. "Si" is a reflexive pronoun - just cut the last "e" in a verb and add "si" to the end, for example: lavare -> lavar -> lavarsi. It can make a verb have different meaning. "Vedere" means "to see", while "vedersi" means "to see each other" ("to meet each other"), for example: Ho veduto tua sorella (I saw your sister) Ci vediamo tra due settimane! (We see (= we meet) each other in two weeks!) Note: in case you need to use reflexive verb, just use a reflexive pronoun (which are: mi, ti, si, ci, vi, si, respectively) + conjugated verb. Hope this helps and enjoy your Italian journey!
One day, I hope to speak Italian to the standard that you speak English. I’m very much a beginner but I am loving the experience and am very grateful to have your channel to help me. My wife and I have been to Italy twice, and We are determined that next time (hopefully next year) We will be able to hold a simple conversation in Italian. I think you have a very bright future ahead of you!
I agree that for a beginner, this is your best video! To hear you speak in english but to see the verbs and their conjugations in Italian is the best way for me to learn. Perfecto! Grazie Mille
Hello there! As an experienced English language professor who comes from Serbia, I must admit that your English is excellent! And when it comes to Italian, as a beginner, I must say this is a perfect way to learn it! Giving examples is what students need, and that's exactly what you do here. Grazie mille! Saluti cara Lucrezia!
Yes guys.. she is terrific and fluent in both languages. But if you want to learn Italian, then why don't you apply for yourselves the same method as the rest of the people who want to learn english??? I mean, learn Italian with the teacher speaking and explaining everything in Italian since the first minute to the very last one. (No offense, but according to you people, that recreates and gives you the real need to communicate in your second goal tongue)
@@etienneg.gioncardi5368 I don't necessarily agree with you. It's been proved that when learning a second language, especially as far as grammar learning is concerned, it is not advised to do it in the second language. How could a person possibly understand all of the nuances a language has to offer if you don't have a mutual vehicular language? I think a bilingual teacher is your best choice when starting to learn a new language.
@@BrianMcLawren Brian, in many places of Latin people who want to learn english.. those "american" teachers seem to forget that in Latin America there are more languages than only english.. but still they think: "if you wanna learn english, do everything in english" so your last question makes even more sense: How do "american" teachers expect everyone to learn english if those teachers are not qualified to speak nothing more than english...?? And this is like Harmon Hall, Berlitz, Interlingua, Quick Learning, and all that kind of places with no bilingual teachers.
As an English speaker, I like to think of "mi piace" as "something is pleasing to me." Thinking of them in that way made learning such verbs in Spanish quite easy. Thanks for an introduction to important verbs for beginners.
Hey Lucrezia. In this video you mention that for 'Parlare' you should use 'Parli' if you don't know a person and 'Parla' to a friend. Is it not the other way round? If not, can you explain why? Thanks!
Thank you so much for your videos. This is the first one that I have found of yours. I'm Italian born and I've always spoken a little Italian. In about a year my wife and I are going to be going to Italy and I want to be able to pass by with a lot of basic language. Your videos are very helpful
WoW I like it very much when you explain in English, and your English is very good, excellent. I need to learn Italian because I like it the way it sounds especially in the movies. I m 52 and as a kid I use to go to cinema because those movies were only available at the movies, every film that appeared was available at the cinema. I used to go to watch Bud Spencer, and the way the Italian language sounded for me when I was 13 at the time, was very pleasant to my ear. So here I am I want to learn the Italian language, i live in Montreal, nice meeting you. I look forward into watching and learning as much as possible from your videos, thank you again. Great work !
Che brava sei! Sono russa, studiavo l'italiano sola a casa, e dopo veniva a Roma per praticare la lingua. Non parlavo l'italiano gia tanto tempo e come piacere sentirti! Grazie a te!
very good class. i'm actually a brazilian, I speak portuguese, but know how to speak english and now i'm learning italian through your channel. Thanks for that!
This video was so useful! I'm a beginner but I hate Absolute beginner level videos, people speak so slow in those and keep repeating every word's meaning in English - I mean, if I want to know the English translation I would check it myself, no need to make the video extra long. So yes, this was concise and helpful, I learned a few new words (like swimming and walking) and it was a really smart thing to remove the verbs essere and abbiamo - thank you for this video. :)
Hi! I'm watching your vlogs right now & i'm gonna be surely following more of your vlogs soon! I'm a newbie here in Italy & I badly want to learn the language so bad. So i'm here watching you. ❤️ Btw, i'm also a vlogger from the Philippines. 🙂
Lucrezia, sei molto calma, ti esprimi molto bene e fornisci sicurezza per poter finalmente iniziare ad imparare la lingua madre dei miei bisnonni. Vivo in Brasile e mia figlia Luciana mi ha detto di studiare con te. Sono molto felice e ti ringrazio moltissimo.
You probably get so many comments like this, but THANK YOU! You are helping me so much, I always watch your videos after my Italian class to practice; today I learned verbs and reflexive verbs/sentences so this was an amazing way to study 😹 thank you so much!
Thanks for this video! I'm definitely a beginner and plan on watching more of your beginner lessons. You should put an end card at the end linking to that playlist so other beginners would know about it :)
Italian sounds so cool and I love the food. I was learning Italian for a bit until I fell off and started learning portuguese. I'm afraid the mix of romance languages will confuse me lol
I'm Brazilian and for Portuguese speakers to learn Italian is so much easier, or Spanish, since they are romance languages. I'd advise you to pick up one and then after a certain level you achieve on it, you may go for the next challenge. Many words are very similar! Keep up your efforts , bro.
Wow you are a really good Italian teacher and the words that you teach me are unforgettable and i can understand them now... I just realised that Italian is easy for me to catch the words and to read Italian and first i thought Italian was hard to learn But now it is easy to learn because of you and i just wanna say Thank you... i really appreciate you .. you are my life saver
Hi Lucrezia! Big thanks for all your videos, so grateful. In this clip you mentioned 'parli' as formal... I always learnt that 'parla' was formal...lui/lei/Lei parla... grazie mille x
