I understand you're trying to offer a service, and good for you, Will. But potential ex-pats need to know that Panama City is HOT, like 92 most days, and humid as hell for 10 months of the year with downpours almost daily! Though it doesn't necessarily last all day, there are mammoth puddles left everywhere, so you're constantly dodging them. There's trash in every direction you look, the sidewalks are in total disrepair and there are insects everywhere! Traffic is an absolute nightmare! If you move to a place like Boquete or the highlands of Panama, you get a much healthier and pleasant experience. Furthermore, there are gringo prices and local prices -- giving the woman at the Fonda $10 and telling her to keep the change perpetuates this and consequently makes it very difficult for the locals who cannot afford to do that -- it makes it very complicated. Home prices have gone through the roof since this massive retiree invasion -- it's not all good. This is factual. Best wishes to you and all who want to move to what is a pretty wonderful country as long as you take all of the above into consideration.

Thanks for your opinion. We will agree to disagree as most of what you describe isn't unique to Panama City. You could have just as easily been describing Atlanta or Philadelphia. 🤷🏾

@@PanamazingTours I sent you an email -- I grew up there. Have you ever been to Chorrillo? Near perfect climate? It rains daily, 90% humidity. You can't compare the US to Panama -- oranges and apples. It's a great choice as long as you're aware of all the downsides as previously mentioned.
