I’m not surprised that Taco Bell isn’t in Mexico just because technically it’s a type of taco doesn’t mean it’s one of our tacos 🌮🤣 ours is just meat unions cilantro lemon and salsa con una Coca-Cola or horchata ♥️not cilantro lime sauce 💀
@Maria You bring up a great point! Taco Bell's approach to tacos and its adaptation to different tastes and cultures can be quite distinct from traditional Mexican tacos.🌮🇲🇽😄
@Marek the gamer Spot on! Coffee pricing can influence our choices in a big way. Local alternatives often provide great options that resonate better with local tastes and budgets."😎
As for Dominos, they said that instead of aiming at Italians they aimed at tourists ... , you try to target tourists in the country that created what you do?! wtf
@Andrea Necchi Indeed, the decision to target tourists rather than appealing to Italians in Italy with pizza offerings can raise questions and might seem counterintuitive. Italy is renowned for its rich pizza tradition and culinary heritage, so focusing on a tourist-oriented approach might not align with the deep-rooted pizza culture in the country.🙂
When you mentioned a Smaller Brand with the same Name as Wendy’s, It kind of feels like a Similar Situation that happened in Australia what with Burger King which Ironically a small Brand in Australia has the same Name; And they had to change the name into Hungry Jacks which is pretty Ironic.
It's interesting how these restaurants face challenges in global markets, however, I'm not surprised that Taco Bell failed in Mexico, as they have real authentic tacos and such. They get an A for effort though 🤣
@Daniel Cassabon You're absolutely right! The fast-food industry often faces unique challenges when expanding into global markets. Local tastes, cultural preferences, and existing culinary traditions can significantly impact the success or failure of these chains.😂
However, in California and, other populations where the South Western Population other fast food Mexican restaurants tend to fair well, and, the fact is they were even selling alcohol and cocktails in those fast food restaurants yrs way before the pandemic and, the rest of some other fast food and casual restaurants started ever selling alcohol, those restaurants didn’t start selling it till after the pandemic! I also been in those other fast food Mexican restaurants out in California, Texas and, Florida their not bad, they offer the same menu items like that in a more casual Mexican restaurants but, just a bit cheaper.
Vietnamese here, when a McDonalds opened in my local city this year, it was super PACKED for the first 3 to 5 days, that was the time "fast" food at the place became slow food, luckily I was ordering to go because the there was literally no seat left to sit inside the restaurant, about 2 months later I went there again and business seems to be still pretty busy, plus half of the customers there seems to be foreigners so that's a plus if you're a Vietnamese and want to test your English communication skill while eating some Macs
@Mary List It's true, Taco Bell faced challenges when trying to establish itself in the Mexican market. With a rich and vibrant culinary culture that includes authentic tacos and traditional flavors, the competition can be quite steep.😍❤️💯
@Bård Floten You raise a valid point! Just like McDonald's in Norway sources local ingredients, it's definitely possible for other fast-food chains, like KFC, to do the same. Using local produce can support the economy, reduce the carbon footprint, and create a sense of connection to the region. Let's hope more chains follow this path and make the most of local resources! 🍔🥔🌽
in sweden we have starbucks coffee machines in gas stations etc but we have our own version called espresso house its like starbucks and it costas much
@Elias Bank Absolutely, the Baskin-Robbins logo is quite clever! The pink parts of the "BR" in the logo form the number "31," which represents their famous claim of offering 31 flavors of ice cream😍
I've never eaten at BK in Jamaica, because why would I. I just know from going there many times, the one bus driver said McDonalds failed. KFC is also big there.@@BabbleTop
I think Chick-fil-a's food looks nice but I couldn't support a company that is so blatantly anti-LGBTQIA+. Customer's vote with their wallets, or they do here in England anyway... If we don't like what you stand for you don't get our money
