There is also like a part of me that says that Michael had such a wild, bloody and full career run in Bellator including championship wins I don't care if he is on a losing record in the UFC, in my mind he has already proven himself. Let him get that money and have fun fights.
Putting this here cuz no responses. I hate that the story of the fight or the personality of the fighters is a factor in whether it gets remembered as a good fight. Having a fight that was actually good is the least important thing. If you have an interesting life experience leading up the fight, if you have some funny lines and good banter at the press conference, that’s what matters. You could have the biggest stinker of all time and people will be talking about “just bleed” a decade after the fact. I’ve never judged fights this way. The fight itself is the only thing that should ever matter. If the fight is good, the fight is good. It it’s bad then it’s bad. The narrative should never play a role in the perception of the fight. Neither should the stakes. Whether it’s taking place at kotc ammies or headlining a UFC PPV, a fight should only be judged on its merits.
I've never understood the hate for draws. Sometimes fights really do just go right down the middle, especially when there's a 10-8 in the fight somewhere.
Because most fans are biased and always think "their" fighter should've won. Same reason they call robbery on fights that were legitimately close. Most ppl can't just enjoy the sport itself and be honest with "that was close, I'm really not sure who won".

@@actioncross257I was an unapologetic Hunt fanboy though, he will always be one of my favorites. Crazy as this is, one of my first introductions into combat sports was the K1 game for PlayStation 2, I loved fighting with Hunt, because you could just run in rough shot flinging bombs, and almost always win. So I was a fan of his even before he started in PRIDE.
I’m actually a big fan of draws, because you usually are getting two guys so equally matched or one fighter overcoming serious adversity to put it on the other guy. And on top of that, they often run it back, so you get the payoff but with extra hype.
I know Shogun vs. Hendo 1 goes for Henderson but that (epic) fight was a really a draw in my opinion... even by "old" rules, Shogun scored a 10-8 on the 5th... and thats would´ve been a draw. Deserved a honorable mention... 😅
Before watching this I would assume most don’t mind draws- maybe even enjoy them IF it’s a good fight. Not to mention the fighters will often get their win money too. Nice win win in those instances
I'm the biggest fan of Lando Vannata even if nobody ever gives a sh*t. He has never been in a boring fight and has never left the octagon without bleeding at some point, he can rest assured that he's someone's favorite fighter..Dibs on Lando!!

Im actually a fan of draws and a bif fan of bringing the draw back in MMA, if you dont finish your opponent, its a draw, and you can rebook the fight later with higher stakes.... make wrestlers like covington learn jiujitsu and reward only violence, NO POINTS

I can't get MMA On Point to show up in my feed. I watch every video, I am subscribed, and I like every video. For some reason these guys are never recommended to me. I have to search for their channel basically every day. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
bobby vs lando is soooooo underrated also, i was actually surprised that borchev and sadykhov got put in the prelims, or that so many didn't knew who they were, that was such a slept on fight, and it delivered better than i expected
Awesome video as always - question though - what's the background music? While it may have been used before, it really caught my ear in this one! Only tweak I would have made is Figgy/Moreno #1, since it launched the only title quadrilogy of all time, and every fight was amazing.
Bigfoot vs Hunt 1 was one of my all time favorites, but I still think the decision was nonsense, Hunt clearly won. Bigfoot was a beast for staying in the fire and not backing down, but the offense was all Hunt, all night, he should have easily won a judges decision.
I fight the majority of ufc fighters are praised even if they lose….i find there are no losers if they fight with all their hearts and souls out there….its an interesting sport! An amazing sport just for this reason!

Just commenting after the intro. I don’t hate draws and I don’t understand why everyone does. I think they should be handed out more often. It’s way better to say a close fight was a draw than rob the guy who won.
I would like to see a video where Tommy argues why Jon Jones is the best of all time. Then Bailey and argues why someone else is the best of all time and then each one of the rest each argues their point on who they believe is the best of all time.
#1 Hunt vs Silva To me, Silva tainted his entire career.im aware he has medical needs but he still abused TRT to gain an edge and it showed significantly. Mark Hunt would have won. Silva had an entire camp to train and fought, all while on steroids
I like when people act confused as to why there’s less interest when it comes to the flyweight division. The men are the size of children, it’s like watching midgets fight, it isn’t relatable to most people
