this video is basically a recap of the history of MMA, the sport is only 21 years old which is insane because its not some dead sport its right there with boxing and NBA, in another 21 years no other sport will be able to compete.
The biggest myth in MMA is the so-called UFC PRODUCT. Promoters don’t have a product. Fighters have the product. Their performance is their product. All any promoter does is to provide the STAGE. Stage vs Performance. What is one worth relative to the other? In the UFC the breakdown is 85/15
Max was the man when he had the belt, then he thought of as the second best guy for a while and he lost a little steam. Now his career just got a huge second wind.
Dude I've lived in Athens Georgia when Forrest won the ultimate fighter....I met him 3 times he seemed like a goofy caveman...once he came into my job at the mall...then downtown he had a chick on each leg at the bar...and at a fight out at the old skate park...there was a ring and local talent a girl named willow that we both knew fought Forrest even got up on the mat during her fight hilarious actually...the good days...damn I'm old but at least I have lived longer than the doctor that diagnosed me with fshd muscular dystrophy saying I would be lucky to see 30 I turned 40 last year....thanks for the refresher of the only sport I really like.....thanks guys for the channel again y'all should get me to an event I got some crazy questions....lol
The only sad thing about being heavily engrossed with MMA since the nineties (around 7 years old) is there is little to learn from videos like these anymore. The other day I watched over an hour long "iceberg" video on mma/ufc and learned NOTHING new. I started to wish I had never heard of MMA because I miss those days when I was younger and there was still that mysterious, unique element. Becoming a mega fan slowly can be so fun sometimes and you start to lose that magic after a few decades 😔
100% overpriced. That’s why I tend to not care if anyone illegally streams . I have shopped afew of the cards that I would have to travel to, and Miami O’Malley sterling card and the Mcgregor Chandler and the lowest price ticket nosebleeds is so much higher tha ln the average sport ticket an the previous ufc prices of 2018ish when they came to Chicago .
