Found 2 bottles of Profumo at a local Nordstrom a few weeks back so I’m stocked up for the next 5-10 years. Sad to see Profumo go, such an iconic product.
D&G The One Intense is sentimental to me, probably the 2nd or 3rd designer I ever bought and probably will be one of the few I ever "back up bottle" buy. It's one of my favorites, sadly doesn't last terribly long like most The One's.
Just get a bottle of lhomme leau and don’t even think about it. One of my favorite scents. Made me fall in love with the lhomme line and just got intense after it and working on getting a bottle of absolu
I love Uomo Signature and Uomo is a sweeter follow up for me. I even tried layering Signature with Montale's Chocolate Greedy and pulled a lot of compliments the other day.
Just did a bit of recon on Profumo. It's still shown on the generic international page (not a shop, just shows all the products). Checking a handful of shop pages for other countries, as Ash said it's sold out on the US site. For the Canadian and UK sites it's in stock. The French, Swiss, and German shops don't list it. Most interesting to me, the Spanish and Italian have it (and only it) on sale for 50% off - almost like a clearance sale..
I bought bottles of Man In Black and Luna Rossa Black well over a year ago on discontinuation rumors and both are still easy to find today, but I dont regret buying either b/c I got great deals on both.
Great content. At your recommendation, I added Nuit D’Issey Noir Argent a year ago. It’s been a very solid part of my stable, but now looks like it’s gone....ugh.
Yeah, a scent being popular among fragheads can be mixed blessing; we typically wait for discounters to get it which means the degree to which we love a scent might bear no relationship with how profitable it is for the brand.
Completely agree! I bought it when I first started collecting (I didn’t know the difference between it and Y EDP). I let it sit for about 6 years and randomly took it with me on a trip. Since then, I’ve used it almost daily. Awesome scent
That minty lemon zing is intoxicating and beastly for its category. So annoying summer drops always get killed. Like summer will always exist- stop killing summer frags bc of lack of sales. Weather matters!
I didn't even know D&G: The One EDP Intense existed. I LOVE The One EDP and Luminous Night, but for a person who wants to keep his collection under 20, likely won't go for a 3rd.
I’ve just picked up back up bottles of Prada black and Armani Code Absolu, I’m not collecting that long but they’re two of my favourite. I need a back up or two of Profumo, it’s such a great versatile fragrance, be sad to see it go….. I’ve also heard rumours of Spicebomb extreme……
I have a hunch they’ll discontinue SBE once they release Infrared EDP, as they’ll be too similar. And If Infrared EDP comes out as strong as the original SBE and leans into the spicy vanilla/ tobacco vibe then I could live with that. But Armani is just dumb and mean for discontinuing Absolu.
Just got Cedrat Boise. Got that over the intense version cause when I wear it, I want to wear it in warmer weather. Amazing stuff! I also just ordered samples/decants/travel size: Angels Share, Green Irish Tweed, Enigma Pour Homme (not the cologne), Naxos, and Replica By The Fireplace. Those are the next five on my list so wanted to get samples first.
Heads up for the Enigma Pour Homme. Fragrancenet will every so often get 50ml testers in for around $170. Sign up for notifications and keep checking cause they sell out in like 5 minutes. Also, check out Overture Man. Personally, I like it more than Enigma.

Y Eau Fraiche in my opinion does what dior homme cologne does, but better. The fresh frozen lemonade opening is very addictive. I immediately bought as many bottles as I could once I saw them on sale at my local rack store.
@saulgoodmanandriese8658 if you're looking for a lemon fragrance, you should just get O'vert by gallagher fragrances. It smells much better and you'll get more use out of it
@@saulgoodmanandriese8658 no since they don't really have anything too much in common, use for both is completely different, so it's justified to have both.
@Colm Farrel to me, the performance, projection, and overall characteristics of the scent are better. They both try and accomplish the same thing, I just think that eau fraiche beats out dior in this case.
They have been saying Profumo was being discontinued for two years. And I've been saying Uomo is probably on its way out for a year. As for Invictus Aqua...no worries...we have a billion decent clones of it.
In the past 4-5 months I've seen Prada L'Homme Eau at several different European airports duty free shops (Berlin, Vienna, Milan and Warsaw for sure), in a few cases at pretty decent prices. On the other hand, I've found pretty hard to see Versace Oud Noir around since October last year, and it looks like AdG Profumo is really going (haven't seen anywhere for a while, and going amiss even at major EU discounters). Not on the list, but D&G Light Blue Forever has been getting more difficult to find and prices going up.
@@Seasniffer69 yes that's it. I tried it a few times in store and I really like it but I'm currently well covered with summer freshies. If I'll find it at a decent price though I'm gonna buy a bottle.
I’ve gotten to a point in my fragrance journey, where I don’t have everything I want, but I don’t feel like I HAVE TO have them all. The ones I will buy are the ones that I absolutely really want or they are close to being discontinued or discontinued all together and I like them enough where I should get a bottle. I bought enough fillers and I have enough to last me a lifetime. That said, when I see a discontinued fragrance, I just wanna buy it. But I have got to be smart.
Not exactly a popular brand among adults but I am still bummed that Curve Soul has been gone for so long. I bought a few bottles around a decade ago feeling like it just didn't come around often enough, but ran out a while ago.
Dallas lied to me about Prada Luna Rossa black which caused me to buy three bottles and it's still in production. There was a lot of smoke around that but no fire
it's not Prada or ferramgo it's the new manufacturers of the frags ie L'Oréal and interparfums when a brand moves from one fragrance manufacturer to another you will always get discontinued frags unfortunately
The problem with that D&G Intense is I have 5 others from the line I don't even wear. I had to chiol out with the panic buying. If it goes bye bye, then that's fine too.
I agree. I always get a little panicky when lines get discontinued but these are the times when fragheads can make some money off mainstream scents to buy our overpriced designers.

Wood neroli was one of my first non mainstream scents I bought on Amazon. Im not a fan at ALL but I can definitely see how it will fit during spring time. Wood essence fits me alot more
Agreed, I never saw it on the YSL Australian site. I was only able to import it from the U.S. discounters. It should have been available to Australia, as it is a very hot country.
Prada Lhomme Leau is probably my most favorite fragrance. I got a back up a little while back, and then broke the first bottle, so now i need another backup 😅

So glad I impulsively bought invictus aqua in 2018. I wore it every weekend to the bars so now I’m down to half the bottle. It’ll forever remind me of that period of my life so I have to savor it 😂 I’m mad at myself that I didn’t buy a bottle of Dior homme intense back then too. Like it was literally sitting right there at sephora… now it’s nowhere to be seen
I have half a bottle of 2016 and I rage that I can’t wear it because I need to have it 😩😩😩😩😩 I wear it like once a year on special occasions, I hold it as my holy grail but I know I have way better fragrances like my Xerjoff 40 knots, but my 2016 aqua must be protected at all cost
Azzaro has kept the distribution tight on TMW. It will occasional pop up, then sell out in a day. I’m almost out of my 100ml so I’ve been looking to replace, granted lately I’m looking more at summer/spring scents. But I keep an eye on it!
@@CaliJatt0809 + I may be totally wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised if the edp gets discontinued. Also got Wanted By Night recently and it was about half the cost of TMW. But ya, I watched the video on TMW Parfum and I will definitely sample it next chance I get.
The 2 fragrances he said that were basically gone now. Popped up today both of them 100 mill the Hugo private accord and pure XS night. Those 2 came up on discounters.
FYI, Jomashop has Prada L'homme Intense. I got the notification on it earlier today and picked one up. Not cheap, but jussssttt in case. I keep hearing it might get discontinued, so.... Don't say I didn't warn ya'll!!
I feel like it is evidence of how much marketing does for designer scents... some of the best designer scents don't seem to have a lot of marketing behind them... so they become cult, or underground, favorites of the frag community, when they are stunners

Hey Ash, what are your thoughts on a company like Waft? I'm pretty sure they cater mostly to the "normie" market, and I've tried them out many years ago with results being mid, in my opinion. From what I gather they just buy up IFF pre-made scents. But I did just impulse buy another this week, hoping to have more success this time around...

It's sad about Prada Lhomme leau it is my favorite warm weather fragrance. Have you heard anything about the discontinuation of DHI? I was watching a random channel and he actually called Dior and the lady said she believes it is discontinued. Any weight to this?
What flights and gravity said. I heard DHI is still available in Europe. We can’t forget that the European markets and American markets are different in the sense that the citizens of these places culturally have different trends in taste when it comes to fragrance.
@@saulgoodmanandriese8658 leau performs great for a fresh fragrance I usually get 3 to 4 hours projection, 8hrs total longevity. It projects monstrously off my skin as well. It is a great pickup for the summer! Nearly everytime I wear it someone at least asks me what I'm wearing and where they can get it. If I quit collecting and went back to a signature scent this would be it .
@@flightgravity7483 ok thanks I actually have a 150 ml so I'm covered but was thinking I needed to rush out to find a backup to that as I Never want to run out of DHI. Now I feel safer waiting on that purchase now to find a 150 ml of lhomme leau....
My problem is i own more fragrances in the categories i dont usually wear. I like either musky/aromatic/fresh fragrances but i own much more sweet scents probably because im looking for one i really like. I keep using testers and decants of tygar and i hold back because of the price but its my all time favorite
Abercrombie & Fitch had some fire frags in the 2000s. Do you guys know of anything that smells like Signature or Colden? Going for $350+ and $180+ on eBay is too much.
Not entirely relevant to this video, but I’m honestly bummed that I didn’t get into fragrances until AFTER Mugler pulled all of their best A*Men products. I had one years ago as a gift but couldn’t really appreciate it in middle school. Now all they have for men is Alien :/ would love for a new A*Men flanker to drop.
unfortunately, “Stronger with you Absolutely” has been discontinued for some time. I emailed Armani and they confirmed it. I am so sad, I’ve been looking for it since November…. I do know one trusted seller who has it, but I am hesitant to deal with international shipping.
I actually went with leau dissey for my first designer, then coach for men (the original). Then I went cheap with clones and straight to niche. Now I'm circling back to designer and just grabbed Valentino Uomo Coral fanatsy and literally had to slip away from my sleeping gf. She fell asleep in my neck...
If you live near any military bases/installation (s). You can get all of stuff.... Its just sitting on dusty shelves....that's if you can get access......
so the fact that profumo is sold out indicates that it's been discontinued or they just don't have the ability to manufacture more of it at the moment due to it being out of stock?
@robbo1202 yes I found it on FragrenceNet said there were 8 left. Got 2 new for $70. Checked just now and it's $100... wooo dodged a bullet there.... the only reason I found out it was discontinued is because I tried buying it along with Prada Luna Rossa Carbon and it was sold out.... Every time I went they always had a ton of it in stock.... I bought it a few months ago and decided to return and exchange it for the EDP. Maybe a sign because if I didn't check or I bought it earlier I would have gone through the bottle and been disappointed when I wanted to replace it...
Received today my blind bought YSL Bleu Électrique, this is a must if you can get your hands on it. Probably going to get another one lol. Got it from spain btw.
Armani adg profumo is not that nice too dry and boring. Profondo now that is spot on. I've bought a few back up bottles of prada luna rossa black. Love it. Same for code profumo.
6 fragrances out of this video own will be discounted the one that cuts the deepest is YSL my not so favorite is the dolce the one. Made the mistake of wearing it to a funeral and yea that’s stuck in my memory bank
