If you throw your controller while playing fallout 4 at the excact moment you die to a super mutant suicider, with the Big Boy weapon in your hand, then load up Fallout 76, a green screen will appear that says 'Suiciders Are Back and Buffed"
There’s an Easter egg I found when switching my batteries on the stock Xbox one controller. If you look underneath where the batteries go, it says “hello from Seattle” which is where Microsoft headquarters are.
My mind was blown when I found that the small logo on the front of the disk trey, on my ps2, could turn to match if the console was standing up or on its side...
There is actually a official vertical stand for the PS2 ... but what most people know that ... The more interesting one is that there is actually a official horizontal stand ...
On the Minecraft version of the Xbox One S, you see random text on the bottom of the console. The text is in a made up language (honestly can’t remember what it’s called right now) [EDIT: Just remembered, it’s the Galactic alphabet] and when you translate it to English it reads “Never dig straight down”. This is a reference to the first rule of Minecraft, the rule states that you should never dig straight down because you can fall into dangerous situations, such as caves or lava
DHGMRZ17 No, with the GameCube example you had to push a button, interacting with the hardware. In the PS2 example, you didn't have to do anything to the hardware to make it show.
The towers in the ps2 boot screen indicate how much memory you have used on your memory card. Also how crazy is it that we could fit hundreds of games data on just an 8 mb card back then
I dont know if anyone remembers this easteregg, but it was on the xbox 360 avatar menu. It still works, look it up. You have to spin your character when you're on your hairstyle for about one minute, then the icon will flip and make a funny voice, and you will unlock cool hair colours for your avatar like purple, green ect. wich normally you wouldnt get!
I genuinely didn't know about the gameboy virtual console trick. And the Iwata one makes me tear up because the switch would have been his rebound from the WiiU and he never saw it
when i was 5 years old i had a ps 2 and i was just playing with the ps logo when it tured i tought i broke it and did not say a word to my parents but years later i watched one of your vids and i was like oh ok ididnt break it
Why did old consoles make so many frickin' creepy noises? When I was little, I would only play on my ps2 after my brother turned it on for me cause I was so scared of the unreadable disc sound.
I remember when I turned on my first Xbox 360 and it started flashing the 3 red lights and the fans revved up, it made my heart drop and I quickly turned it off because I thought it was a fire hazard. Later found out it was designed like that to show an error code and it was a really common problem. This was before I had access to the internet lol.
Also the insides of every controller since the 360 say *hello from seattle* behind where the batteries go. And I guess since I have a project Scorpio edition X, I have a tiny master chief riding a scorpion lmao.
Anthony A both code name and scorpion tank from Halo standard issue main combat tank armed with 2 30 or 40 Cal guns 1 main gun and 4 Ridable seats or those Marines over there
I totally thought I was the coolest guy ever when I learned about the "z" button easter egg. I was quickly 1 up'd when my friend told me about the 4 controller "z" button easter egg! Gaming was soo much harder back before RU-vid :)
Apparently the last one was referenced somewhere in the code as omamori or charm. In Japan people carry or give these sealed small packs called charm to bring good luck/fortune/good health to them and they should not open it to see what's inside, because it will loose its power. So Switch had this Iwata charm hidden inside to bring good luck to the console, but people found and opened it.
Not to mention how it got patched out in an update on New Years'. Because you're supposed to burn an old omamori at the end of the year as a sign of respect to the spirit that helped you through the whole year. In this case, this spirit was Iwata. Man, now I'm sad.
One of my favorite "hardware hacks" for the original PlayStation was GTA and GTA: London 1969. The London 1969 game essentially used the same assets as GTA, just re-skinned. If you were ever having trouble with your PlayStation loading either game after the SCEA logo and before the PS logo, pop the disc out, put the other in, and let it start loading. As soon as you got the PS logo, pop it back out and put the other one back in.
angel Izquierdo there’s a meme going around where it had Xbox controllers on the Krusty crab and PS4 controllers on the chum bucket and someone commented “shut up before I take out your batteries” something like that, it was funny
Thats is called options in Xbox we can use aa batterys , rechargeable batterys , and removible batterys , different from PS4 thats is limited only for internal batterys .
In the code for the Switch’s power manager, when putting the Switch to sleep mode, it says good night to itself in Japanese (or something similar, can’t remember what exactly), and when you wake it from sleep, it says “ohayou” to itself, which is Japanese for, you guessed it, good morning.
3:32The game cube controller easter egg when you hold all 4 Z’s that Easter egg goes even deeper it’s a nod to Pokémon Stadium 2 the Scyther and Pinsir mini game called “Clear Cut Challange” that sound would play before when you had to cut the tree logs.... wow that takes me back lol
Thanks for the 3ds Easter egg! Also, you know how you can pinwheel your game by blowing into the microphone? On 3ds systems, you get the same reaction for clicking it up and down. However, you must be sure not to close it. Otherwise, the game goes to sleep and nothing happens.
there's a Consul Easter egg when you use a PlayStation one if you put a CD in there and play music you can use ambience colors that danced around while the music is playing in the background I think you have to hit select on the controller
