I just bought the Insta360 Go3 online and came across your video to do some homework before it gets here. Looks like I'll be hitting the pause button a lot on your videos to set mine up when it gets here. Cheers
Wow changing the sharpness down to Medium made a huge difference. I used this camera for the first time yesterday and was not impressed vs my Osmo Pocket 2 in terms of video quality. All the features make it great and will still be used but now it's actually GOOD video by changing that simple setting. Thank you!
I purchased this for my mobile mechanic job. To record and add content to my Facebook page. Wasn't impressed with the quality right out of the box.. was very poor but after changing it to medium WOW that made a whole lot of difference. Was impressed with just that 1 change.
I originally thought Quick Capture would be useful, but as it turns out, more often than not, I end up accidentally pressing record when putting the camera away in a bag, or from it fumbling around. When I open it up to grab the camera, it is hotter than lava, the battery is depleted, and storage is running low all because it had been recording the entire time without me knowing. The button setting on the Go 3 while outside of the case works great, but the Quick Capture mode while housed in the case, not so much!
Yes this is a great point - maybe quick capture should be a long press of two seconds to prevent this - but then it’s not as quick! Thanks for the comment
writing myself a summary lol: - extend auto sleep time - extend auto power off time - reduce sceen brightness (saves battery) - turn quick capture on and adjust settings to preference - change go 3 button settings if needed - change quick button to desired settings (or custom presets) - change video sharpness to medium (for softer video effect) - change resolution to highest possible with each video mode
Great video! I always use free frame mode, do you know if there is a way to save that mode, so that you don’t have to re-set it every time you turn on the camera? Thank you!
You can set free frame mode as a quick press mode in the menu so when you press record it will always record in this mode. You can do the same with quick capture mode, preset the button presses to record in free frame mode.
I really have an isuse with Go3 Wifi setting. Everytime i need to connect with a phone, i need to enable it. Unlike X3 with already enable by default, this one is Disable by default.
anyone there know how to fix grainy issue on videos? i bought that camera for my wife, she do some recipes video, but quality seems very bad, have a way to fix that? pls help!
@@krisisgameplay5390yes it does work on daylight only it's good kinda still there some noise not very clear footage, but inside or lowlight places is terrible .
In lower lighting conditions, using the “Snow”, picture profile has helped reduce noise. Also turning down the sharpness has also helped and outputting in a lower bitrate, 10-25 MPS. This camera won’t ever be fantastic in anything other than broad daylight, but this will help.

If it’s extremely white you may have dejected manual exposure accidentally so make sure you are in auto. If you are in auto and it’s just the clouds that are too bright then look for ev and adjust it to -0.5 or even -0.1 which will darken the auto exposure
