+Glam&Gore Oh snap, it's so cool to see you here! Didn't know you were a Rob Dyke fan, too! XD Actually discovered your channel only recently, and you're both talented and hilarious. Much love!
It also happened to Etan Patz, when he was kidnapped his parents never left their apartment and kept the same phone number for 40 years hoping their little boy would come backs some day, it's truly depressing.
I can’t stand Matthews facial expressions it’s honestly really irritating, like you’re talking about dead people and sitting there with a damn smile on your face 🙄
I know, I can't believe nobody noticed the smell of the old Croatian woman for 42 YEARS! Did nobody care to realise that if she was alive she would be about 120?
Same with serial killers and social autopsy. He prob makes more money a year then he would on tv hosting one of those cold case shows tho. Plus this gives him total control of content so TV isn't likely for him he doesn't seem to be a game hungrey you tuber like say fousey or those two goofs from smosh. Who's movie sucked by the way.
Keith Smith 9 out of 10 cats prefer whiskers!! Lol! It’s an advert in England.....and, has been a bad joke since an old mans cats ate his face once he died...yeah 😳
And there's also something strangely comforting about _how_ it most likely happened-small, old houses out in rural areas like that one are prone to carbon monoxide leaks, which make death as easy and as painless as falling asleep. They wouldn't have even known anything was wrong. As their brains became oxygen-deprived, they would likely have had the most euphoric dreams on their lives before their hearts and lungs finally shut down.
plenty of people are fucking nutso :p so many woman have been quoted to saying, "He's not a bad boy he's just troubled." After their sons have been convicted of rapes and murders. :p If they can't grasp the fact that their kids are shit heads and that they are fucking assholes that raised them then they probably can't grasp their death either. :p My druggy step mother doesn't grasp jack shit. She's a fucking air head.
The story about the boy's body being in his mother's trunk for 10 years really makes you wonder what secrets the people around you could be hiding.....
+john alvares This isn't an issue of race it's an issue of sick people doing sick things. If you can't see that then I really have nothing more to say to you. I hope you let go of the hatred in your heart some day. Bye bye.
You are a muppet he he called the women "ghetto" and you assume he is referring to every black person. Use some of that money you claim to have on an education.
Another one that you guys didn't include was that of a British pilot who was shot down in the Battle of Britain. His Spitfire came down in Central London, however, the plane hit with so much force that it dug itself into the ground, only showing a small amount of debris. The authorities claimed it to be from a bomb that was dropped after a German Bomber was shot down nearby. In the late 2000's, SONAR research found the outline of a spitfire. The body was recovered after nearly 70 years and was given a proper burial. Allegedly, the pilot was on his way back to RAF Biggin Hill after shooting down 3 German Fighters. The plane was literally found under an intersection in Kensington I believe.
Mr Sponge ... I know right! Just like that woman with the tv still on three years later ( um, hello power company) or that one that died and no one entered the apartment to check for 40 years!! Even f she owned it she would still have to pay annual fees on it, like body corporate fees. It boggles the mind!
@matt young the apartment was state owned at the time of her death (that's Communism) and there was a war only ten years before she was found, even today they still have a lot to repair in Croatia and there are entire villages that are abandoned, so the Croatian government had bigger fish to fry than one abandoned apartment.
When I lived in Washington state back in the 80s/90s I remember a news story about a woman who had lost control of her car while driving along US 101 during the 1940s. She had apparently lost control and ran into a deep lake and had sunk car & all to the bottom of the lake. The Olympic peninsula has a very chilly climate year round and when her car was accidentally discovered 50 years later she was behind behind the wheel perfectly preserved in the icy cold water. No decomposition had occurred after 50 years.
+OGS IV I have to agree. I'd rather Rob do all of the voicing. I hated knowing that guy was gonna get #1. I hate to say it but, I don't like him. haha!
It is more common than you think. I’ve heard that the lake in Lake Tahoe has over 300 bodies at the bottom. If you were to swim in that lake you would swim with the corpses.
I actually grew up swimming in this lake right where they found the vehicles & bodies. It definitely bothered me when finding out & has caused me to not like swimming in lakes anymore.
Wait, how was her TV still on after three years? Wouldn't the cable or electric company have shut everything off since she wasn't paying her bills? Or is that just an American thing?
Why did it take 42 years for someone to find that elderly woman dead? Didn't anyone notice anything suspicious like mail piling up or a smell? Who was paying rent for all those years?
ddivincenzo1 elderly, gets money deposited into her bank account by the government, landlord takes money out of her bank account by pre autorized payments
Update on #9: Chad Dermyer, the trooper who found Quincy Davis' body, was killed in the line of duty in 2016. In 2018, Tonya Slaton pleaded guilty to killing her son more than a decade ago, when Quincy was no more than 15.
That’s just so sad, why would you want to kill your own flesh and blood. I mean child birth and being a mother in general is not easy, so to just....kill your own child is just outrageous.
Tom Joseph Scaria but I heard that after she killed him she went to jail on an unrelated charge and then got out and so they don’t know where his body was during the time she was in jail
WoF Reddit That’s his job that’s what he signed up for so imo I really don’t feel bad, when you sign up for a job like that you know what you’re getting into.
Right? Even if the money was paid automatically from her account you would think someone would have showed up to do maintenance or something in that time
I can tell you this, if you're going to find a body that wasn't immediately discovered, then it's better to find them YEARS after as opposed to weeks. I worked on an ambulance for about 10 years as an EMT-I. There are few things worse than having to discover a body that has only been dead for a week or two. As soon as you go thru the door, the smell stops you dead in your tracks. You immediately know that what you are about to see is not gonna be good.
jeremybr2020 ugh!! Reminds me of a lady that died in the apt. across from us, and no one knew because she never went out! Then someone reported odors and an ambulance was sent, they were really freaked when they came out!! I felt so sorry for those guys!!!
Jesse Bowman I am absolutely appalled that you would say such a thing. What's the matter with you? You like Rum??? Blaaahhh!! Nasty stuff. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Anyways I just happened to skip to the bottom of your comment when I noticed that. I guess I should read the rest of it now. It certainly can't get any more disturbing than the Rum comment, that's for sure. :)
jeremybr2020 You don't know how to drink your rum right. :) Can't go wrong with Sailor Jerry and some coke on ice. :p Or coke as a chaser. That shit is delicious! Or a nice mixed rum drink ... usually has about 3 or 4 kinds of rum with some pineapple juice a little lemon some grenadine. Little bit white or brown rum with some coconut rum. Mix it up and serve it over 3/4 cup of ice. Or add some fruit if you like. :) Hurricanes are delicious! I prefer crushed ice or if I have to make my ice in ice trays I only fill them up half way because small pieces of ice work better then large cubes.
I found a 10 days old body that was left to rot in a warm and sealed apartment. What you have said is true. The smell is out of this world. I held my breath and ran inside and saw this weeping mess of fluids and maggots. They had to get firefighters with o2 bottles and respirator to get him out. The skin with hair was still stuck on the floor tiles after they left.
Jesse Bowman well thats quite informative. I always wondered how It is to find a decomposing corpse. but not really looking forward to it. but the stuff oír bodies are capable of to do is no short than amazing (and revolting AMD probably scarring toó).. but this king of details are hard to imaging.
+dalia rodriguez 3 years in advance? I've never heard of that. Besides, I don't think that would even really be possible considering electric bills aren't a fixed rate each month. Also, if she was living in government housing/shelter, I doubt she could afford paying an electric bill 3 years in advance...
omg! is your name really Dalila?? cuz that's my real first name I've never met anyone else and spelled the same way.. and I totally agree with your comment.. so sad it makes me angry..
another horrible mother is the hoarder mother who didn't know her son died from her stacked magazines collasping on him burying him alive and she assumed he ran away and it was until sixteen years later she found the body of her son when authorities forced her to clean her cluttered house.
42yrs!!!??? The landlord didn't show up for rent money or to rent it out to someone else? My landlord would be having a stroke if rent was more than 3 days late. lol
Direct debits I use them for all bills and I never check my bank as I know exactly what I have and the interest I get should pay my bills with enough left over
How is it that the bodies can remain in a home for years!? Wouldn’t banks or the government notice that the bills are not begging paid??? I can see a few months going by but Years!?
Ya never know the circumstances, so who knows. I don't quite get how it could happen. It's gotta be a really rare occurrence. Yes I realize your comment is a year old. Whaddup
My Dad's downstairs neighbor died from natural causes in her condo, and wasn't found for 2 months. One of the landscapers working just outside her window saw hundreds of flies in the window and called the property manager. The smell was... interesting.
Depends on the property and the agent selling it. If the agent can spin their words right or if it's found by people who don't mind, they can sell fairly quickly
My guess is it was an older crt tv, i.e something built back when Americans had pride in the products they made, and they were built to last . sturdy and well engineeres products was at one time the norm. Nowadays shit is built to break within a year or 3(5 years tops) so you are constantlt forced to buy a replacement, thereby increasing the revenue stream of these companies. Yes its bullshit but thats how shit goes Nowadays!
What about the guy found between the walls inside of a bar? They found him after they banned smoking. The smoke disguised the smell of the decomposing body.
9:45 - what they didn't mention was the car on the left ALSO had bodies in it too, it was another missing couple that disappeared even longer ago, police think that both cars were the results of accidents because that particular curve in the road was kind of treacherous if one was driving too fast. There was also another missing man in a submerged car story, where I forget, but interestingly enough it wasn't discovered until someone picked out the shape of a car in a pond near their local church while looking at a satellite image from Google Earth.
Andrew Tornadoboy the second one you mentioned was David Lee Niles, an elderly man missing from Michigan. According to several accounts I’ve heard of the case, a man was on a tall ladder decorating a nearby Christmas tree near the church pond, and he spotted the outline and reported it. Police stated the man would have been found much faster if someone had reported the google maps sighting of the outline in the car.
I remember a lady in my neighborhood that died similar to the first one. Except she died on the floor and her corpse rotted through the wood. I think I was 10 at the time.
@Tayler Fujarek Oh man, i should really take better care. Of course you are right! I was speaking of the elderly women from croatia and they have meant the young women of London. Sorry for that mistake.
TheJurnalyst my brother-in-law accidentally shut a cat up in his car overnight. The cat didn’t die but used the back seat as a litter box. That car had a stench for years.
Its cuz the trunk that was sealed had absorbed the scent in even after the body had decomposed, the scent still remained. Its DISGUSTING to think about it.
@@fathergascoigne3558 Car trunks are not air tight. The stench would not be sealed in. I still don't understand how anyone would not notice the smell?! Maybe she parked her car somewhere where it would be secluded.
@@TheSP33DFREAK 0 . 0 they arent?? oof, sorry~ im an idiot~~~ If not that, then maybe the fact that they DID but decided to stay away???? man i have n o c l u e
sure 42 years with no one wondering why the apt was never rerented, and who paid the power or water bill and WTF about the 42 years of mail??? I say bull shit to most of these.
james totally murdered his wife. If it was suicide then there would have been a funeral for her, not being tied up in a garbage bag behind an artificial wall.
I remember like it was yesterday reading on the appear about that little boy who died of starvation and was found after 2 year of he's death. I was so upset about it. I couldn't believe no one ever missed that boy, the neighbour didn't question, the surgery and doctors didn't realised he missed medical appointment and vaccinations, the government didn't get a registration form for school didn't bother to ask. No Interest from he's father, grandparents or other family members. He was discovered only as a social went there because the neighbours complained about the rubbish left outside. It shocked me so much, that a 4 year old could just disappear whit out not a care in the world.
Sadly, children disappear all the time. Sometimes by the parents choice, a lot of the time not though... It's sad. There's too much evil in this world.
I remember when they found the car with the 3 teens in Foss lake, they have found many other cars with missing people in them in that lake. Because of the 3 mile dam that is driven to cross from on side of the lake to the other. Still a good swimming hole for all the small towns in the area even after knowing all the wreckage at the bottom.
I think modern society makes it easier for someone to disappear and for no one to notice. People don't know their neighbors like they used to back in the 1970s, let's say. Neighborhoods and communities are not as tightly knit as they once were.
Angel Deville i disagree, I believe its harder to disappear now a days because everyone has social media or atleast 1 person who's knows you. We have phones nowadays unlike back then when someone went missing they didn't know and couldn't contact everyone easy, all they had was newspaper and mail to communicate.
Yes and no really isnt it , theres naturally a higher chance of an elderly person to go unnoticed for some time more than most others , if you have lost all your family etc , plus not all elderly people are frequent with social media either , i dont think social media always counts unless you are some1 who tweets about every aspect of ones life , how many of us have friends on FB we havent actually spoken to in months if not years , its certainly true about neighborhoods and communities not being as they once were , the days of people leaving backdoors open and mr friendly neighbor are long gone.
I agree with you. It would seem like it should be the other way around, but people are so afraid to get in others affairs they ignore them. They actually say that if your in danger to scream "FIRE", not "HELP", because people come running to a fire but ignore screams for help.
stupid jokes in every video of his channel people don't want to come on this channel and see him too smiley and happy. people want to see and hear horror here
+2023PerfectDark He's rude and annoying. People are genuinely nice to him and like him but he is so sensitive that he'll block anyone for any kind of criticism or helpful tips. Plus he's a sell out. He gave up on creativity to maintain a large following, which means remaking the same video over and over again.
+2023PerfectDark Actually from what I've read in the comments there are a lot of people here who he block after criticism, then he went on to bad mouth or mock those people he blocked. So all around not a very good person to be on RU-vid, plus that kind of thing bites you in the ass later.
You could also include my grandmother in this. She was murdered when my father was 10, and her body put in her car, which was pushed into a lake. Dr. Baden covered it on his old HBO show, her name was Mary Jane Gooding.
This video is very close to home for me. I had a friend from who disappeared around 1984. This is absolutely true. My friends and I were thinking of him one day, he was like a hero to us, and decided, for shits and giggles to ask my friends spirit board is he was dead or just took off after he graduated. The board said he was dead, we freaked out, we were 14 yrs old at the time, we had never used that before, and you can bet we never did again. Well, we never told anybody about this, we thought we would get laughed at. 20yrs. later they found him at the bottom of the local river, almost straight across from were the three of us lived. I will never forget this ever.
These are all sad, obviously. But there's nothing more sad IMO than someone who's so alone and cut off from the world that they die in their house and nobody even comes looking for them, nobody misses them; it's like they never existed. I just think what a sad, lonely life they must have had... The twins that died together is kinda amazing actually, it's like they came into the world together, had a bond and a certain amount of time on this earth, and then died together. There's something kinda cool about that
Could have been a joint bill considering it was not a typical renters property. Even still sometimes you have an option of joining utility bills with other tenants in typical renters property.
like was some one living in her house and was blind to see the dead body and had no smell sense like how does her electric bills get paid like WHAAAAAAAAAT??????
easy2bvegan Her flat was in a block. There was a smell but neighbours assumed it was the bins outside the window. This was not a good area there were drunks and junkies so most people kept their heads down and did not ask too many questions. In one report I read a one of her neighbours said that he had found the body of a junkie in the lift, dead from an overdose. When people end up somewhere like that it is easy to become invisible and ignored.
Rob & Matthew?! NICE, DO MORE! You two are great working together. Rob with his serious dark tone, Matthew with his curious quizzical tone. Great contrast!
brijo89 "You have the wrong person. I'm referring to the British girl who was found with christmas presents." Even so.... it still begs the question: "what was that cup of tea sitting for 45 years on? "..... Auto fill? Ultimate nonchalant maid/butler??
My dad was a fireman for over 20 years and as I've got older he's told me stuff about things he saw. I won't relate them as they're his tales to tell but people often forget that firemen don't just put out fires, they attend industrial accidents, car crashes, loads of other situations. What he's told me explains why he was often quiet when he came home from a shift. My great uncle was also a fireman, looks like it runs in the family. Not with me, I'm a writer and work with kids, which is also messy....
