Ryan, just wanted to tell you I am HOOKED on your books. I didn't like reading much before I read your books. As a non native English speaker I found that I really enjoy reading in English and the way you wrote discipline is destiny and the obstacle is the way ia just so enjoyable and digestible for me. You books really help me. Thank you so much!
Hey Ryan, I'm absolutely loving your new animated video style! Congrats on taking things to the next level. Watching your content has been incredibly helpful and inspiring for me on my own creative journey. By the way, I'm actually from Brazil, and I'm super excited to be visiting your store in the USA soon! I can't wait to see it in person.
Marcus Aurelius; One of the Five best emperors of Rome, the great Stoic philosopher who suffered a lot of hardships despite being the most powerful man of his time. I'm glad we have access to his philosophical reflections through his book "Meditations"
"Meditations" is now an important part of my life. Been following you for a while! Thanks for your generosity in sharing what has been shared with you :))
Thank you for your Stoic videos. I so appreciate how meditation and journaling aligns with stoicism. I have been stoic all my life and didn’t realize it until I stumbled on your videos. I had even read Marcus Aurelius meditations for my own learning but still had not made the connection. I will continue doing what I have always done but now I have a community that I align with. Thank you.
*"Marcus Aurelius' greatness emanates from profound habits: daily reflections, unwavering integrity, and a commitment to virtue. What habits do you think contribute most to personal greatness in today's world?"*
One thing I do, is complain but never let it get to me. It's basically just me releasing my bad thoughts while working on them. I'll bitch and moan while doing hard work, but I won't slow down or stop.
Wow, this video is a treasure trove of wisdom! 🏛 Marcus Aurelius was truly an exceptional leader, and these 10 habits provide such valuable insights into what made him great
I like Aurelius, but his wisdom totally failed him when it came to his degenerate son. He should have known better than to let the empire fall into the hands of Commodus. He should have had him strangled, imprisoned or at least exiled.
