I don't mind Gus Gould. I enjoy listening to him and he has made me laugh out loud many times with what he says. I am a huge Souths fan and I know people often say he is bias etc but I have no problem with anything he says, even if its negative about my team. The guy, like everyone has a right to his opinion. He is after all a commentator. If you don't agree with him, accept it and move on. Its nothing personal. Most of the time, I agree with what he says. He does add a lot of comedic element to the commentary and his sarcasm is funny.

Hard to move on when when you have to listen to him drone on and on about random bullshit that has nothing to do with the game, repeating himself constantly and also stating blatantly wrong opinions even after being proven incorrect for 80 straight minutes 4 times a game. He's the main reason people have been flocking to Fox and Kayo, he's a cancer.

There’s a good exchange between the two of them in one of Lockyer’s last games vs. the dragons.... one of the players had his shorts ripped and Gus went on a rant about shorts with drawstrings.... too funny.

Reminds me of the Supercars commentary team with Neil and Skaife. Sometimes they talk about the race, occasionally they get sidetracked. Either way it's entertaining

I'm just here very fucken pearced off Jack that Ray isn't going to call any of this year's Origin series, or even the Grand Final (yet to be confirmed). There's simply nobody in Australia that can call play by play rugby league like him.

Hate watching NRL when they aren't commentating. Here's one I heard while watching a channel 9 called game on Fox when there would normally be ads while they thought no one was listening: Gus- testing testing 1 2 3... can you hear me?... rabbits? Rabs- I hear a bloody 'nuf of you.

Phil’s extremely knowledgeable about League, but he’s a terrible match caller. Ray started making way too many errors around 5-6 years ago because his eyesight is so poor and he constantly gets the wrong player.

They've a pretty good duo in the past but for the last 10 or so years their tangents have gradually been getting longer and more annoying, though it's usually Gus dragging Rabbs down to his level or just solo Gus whinging for 10 minutes straight about how the bunker is ruining the game. If there's a lull in the game then it's not so bad, but he'll just keep talking shit through a line break or intercept or try. The banter between Fatty and Sterlo in the Origin games they used to co-commentate with Rabbs were pretty gold.

It's always Gus that makes it annoying. Rabs is an old fashion bloke so he always bites and snaps back, which basically just makes Gus actively try to be more obnoxious.
