The trash can hack has been around for a longtime my grandmother use to do this like 40 years ago. Yes it is a pretty good hack. What she always did was lined her bags with bags so when she pulled out one another was already in place.
We did lots of things back then that I’m seeing as new hacks now lol I folded my clothes and put them in my drawers like that “konmarie” lady! I was 12 lol It just made more sense to put them in vertical so I could see all I had lol I’m guessing you learned some great tips from your Grandma 😊
We put the entire roll in the bottom of the can. I got the idea from cleaning staff at my office, it made it much quicker for them to empty every person's trash cans.
You amaze me. Your styling elevates each project to another level. I'm wondering about all the navy...I'm seeing it in a lot of upscale rooms . Is navy having a moment?
@@stacycervantes7916 My favorite color has always been green - especially deep, dark forest green, but lately I've been gravitating to navy. It started with noticing kitchen backsplashes in navy. Now I'm thinking of painting one wall in the living room with it. It just looks so classy!
I also use the plastic grocery bags to line my smaller trash cans. I cut the handles in the middle, then place the bag in the can. First I tie one handle in a knot and tuck it under the lip, then tie the other handle, pulling it tight, ending with a knot and tuck it under. It looks very neat and tidy.
Very fun video! My trash bag hack is to push the interior of the bag down until it touches the bottom of the can (for maximum space), the gather the excess (like the handles) around the rim until it is pulled taut and either tie or smoosh the remaining flap toward the back where the hinge is so you can hardly see the bag at all, and it looks like a fitted bag. I am not a fan of visible bag because it detracts from the trash can.
Loved the 3-tier bowls and the $2 pillow. I'm not a sewer so just knowing I use hot glue to make a pillow ohhh I'm so excited to try out my first pillow DIY. I'm a current subscriber.
The bowls, candle holders, glass organizers and beaded mirror are all so cute. I love the updated nightstand and pillowcase. I love the stool also but I had a question. Are you wasting paint by dipping instead of painting the legs? Just curious.
You always have the greatest ideas! Love the wall hanging in your bedroom, and the idea of the eucalyptus in the shower, especially if you have a cough or cold it would help! Great video!
Love the litter trash can hack using the hooks for the plastic bag. Genius! I also just told my daughter about hanging the eucalyptus in the shower! She LOVES eucalyptus! Great video!
We use a 33gal trashcan at home. I got tired of the bag falling in. We bought 4 EXTRA LARGE PAPER CLAMPS from Walmart. Clamp them on the edge of the can over the bag. Take them off to change the bags then put them back on when you put the new bag on. The lid will still fit as it should and never worry about the bag falling in ever again.
Terrific video! DAP is the Cadillac of adhesives, I like the product. The paint drip/dip demo was priceless. Your expression skeptical but YOU made it work.....great inspiration! 🌞Fl.
Kohler makes a small trash cans that you can put bags in and trashcan lid closes. Seals and all odors. Especially if you're using it for the litter box etc.
Such great ideas. My Mom just gave me a few pieces from my Mom & Dad's china when they were married over 50 years ago. I know I'd never use them traditionally even if I had the entire set. But I could make teired tray or something like you did.
All of your hacks are awesome! I use my hair dryer to remove stickers. I love the idea of hanging eucalyptus in the shower! As always thank you for sharing your hacks w/ us! Stay safe, healthy and positive! GOD bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸🌞
You can also run a thrift store dish through the dishwasher (which you really should do anyway, before using it) and that will get rid of the price sticker too.
Love the hooks on the side of the waste can. I use one of those for my cat's litter, and the darned handles are always falling in, and I hate to be touching it all the time.
Possible DIY used when u spray paint items. Get a large lazy Suzan and glue a bowl upside down or anything elevated with a flat bottom (flat bottom facing up) to the lazy Suzan. Now when you need to spray paint or paint anything place it on the lazy Suzan and turn as you paint. Eliminates the touching the item and twisting around it to get all side painted😀
I liked the 1st bowl hack. But I could never do the “grandma” garbage can hack...I’m too ocd to have to look at those handles hanging out of the sides. 😂 Love your channel! ❤️
O absolutely love that spool like stand beside the chair and your beautiful creative wall hanging! Did you make that? If so can u link the video please have a blessed day
