Beautiful listeners- if anyone walks out on you, professing the reason being is because “you are fat” PLEASE, PLEASE, LET THEM GO. YOU do not deserve to be belittled or disrespected like that. It’s a proven scale - you WILL find someone who loves you just as much, or as little, as we love ourselves. Or worse, they will love you w all their heart, and you will not recognize or accept it, if you let others make you believe you’re not worthy of that love. You don’t need to fix anything for anyone else. We are given one life, one chance at real happiness. Live it the way you want, but please be kind to that mirror reflection & put yourself first-it’s contagious. Live for your joy (and of course, for your children’s, if/when they come along 😉)

Yeah. It’s one thing to want your spouse to be healthy, but it’s another to just outright divorce/separate because the spouse gained a little weight(it wasn’t even so much either. Dad bods aren’t necessarily very overweight let alone obese). I think his ex wife cheated on him but couldn’t find a solid excuse. Also I hear men lose weight more quickly due to the testosterone they have. I know Whither wouldn’t be the story it is otherwise though. Still a good story.

ya fuck her my husband and I are losing weight together. We have been together 9 years and have both gotten overweight and he lost his faster but is still doing it with me to help me lose my last 60 lbs. if you want a strong relationship everthing for yalls life has to be done together

“Whither” absolutely broke my heart! I know it’s extremely common, but the thought of someone leaving their spouse for being overweight and acting so cruel to them is just awful! And the main character’s lack of self worth is equally disheartening. Remember folks….marriage is supposed to be a sacred bond that lasts forever! Take care of your physical and mental self and give your partner comfort in knowing they have a long, healthy future with you (God willing), but also make sure that you are a supportive and kind partner as well! Your partner and you will last if you have a healthy balance of prioritizing yourselves AND each other, and recognizing areas where YOU can improve. People just throw love away so easily anymore….

Being cruel is not acceptable. But I had a friend who's girlfriend was outgoing, fun and liked to go on hikes and fishing trips ect. with him, it was like a perfect match. But within a year of marriage all she did was sit on the couch and eat, she got real big fast. She also decided bathing wasn't necessarily or any kind of house keeping, which they shared. He talked with her about it, wanting to know if something was bothering her, but she said now that they are married she doesn't have to pretend anymore. So he divorced her after getting nowhere with her. Nobody blamed him because she lied about everything she was to get married. So remember, some people get that way because they don't care.

Chilling is great but it needs a LOT of quality-of-life improvements. When I close it then reopen it the current story goes away, and I have to find it all over again. I don't see why it wouldn't keep any unfinished story queued up for me. It would also be nice if it remembered my ambience preferences. I like Gloom but it always starts on the rain one. T 2.99 I still STRONGLY recommend it, but I would love to see those features. Also an ability to disable already played stories when i shuffle.

I get antsy if I don’t listen Mrcreepypasta, I’m English and to me he has a very unique voice and accent I can’t place as in locality except ‘American’ and perfectly suited to these kinds of stories. Lol I hate our boring British accent.

@@Morbazan125 I've been really depressed. Stuffing pasta into my ears really helps a lot. I'm like a person who has an IV that keeps me from dying and the drug that is keeping me alive is MCP, Horrorbabble, Dark Somnium and his lovely lady, Dr Creepen, CMP, Nature's temper, Lighthouse Horror, CTFDN, Swamp Dweller and even Mr Creeps. I'm certain I'm forgetting someone. I hope they realize how many people they help in ways from banal and profound. For me it is not mundane. It is unquantifiable. What value can you place on length and quality of life? I would guess California. Most areas in America have that particular accent though, so he could be in Washington or Oregon, Kansas or Tennessee, Florida or Arizona, but prolly not Louisiana, new England, close to Canada, or the "deep south." I've been studying the accents of England 😁 I think it's important to learn about other cultures. Do people with Manchester accents sound to you the way county folk sound to us? 🤣 (No offense to anyone, just trying to be funny with little success).

Even though the Head in the Fridge story was hilarious, I was eating at the time - I’ve never been one to really lose an appetite while watching/listening to such things (like I’ve eaten spaghetti while watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre) but I dunno what it is about that story that made it hard for me to eat lol. Also really weird n random but after listening to so many other stories on MCP there's minor details in some of the completed stories that seem like they could all possibly exist in the same universe! Whither was a scary story, even if you remove all the supernatural events and the gory details, because the way the MC thinks and acts are very close to how many (but not all) real persons with eating disorders think and acts
