I just saw John Barrowman at Washington State SummerCon in the Seattle-Tacoma area in June. His booth was MOBBED! Your loss has certainly been our gain on this side of the pond.

John Barrowman apologised for his behaviour years ago and it got dragged back up with the Noel Clark allegations. Back in the 2000s he was hired to be like that on shows and acted it up because it got him jobs. I feel the way the BBC have black listed him is a bit much.

She 'mouthed off' about him "selling stories" on her, when all he had done was give opinions in an interview. He now lives abroad & chose to change career. The Schofield scandal is so recent that we can't really tell where he or the show are headed in terms of legacy, and WatchMojo UK says as much every time, and yet keep including him on these lists as if willing this perceived future onto him.
The skins cast is an odd choice. It's fairly normal that such a big cast of young actors won't all carry on acting or all be in leading roles in high profile roles.

Not defending what he did, nor do I even particularly like him but I always thought the John Barrowman controversy was kind of BS. - The incidents in questioned happened 15+ years beforehand - They were well known, this wasn't some dirty secret it was out in the open all that time and no one ever really cared - As far as we know, none of the people he bothered were even upset, there were no complaints filed, he wasn't reprimanded, all we have is Noel Clarke's anecdote, and he just found it bizarre more than anything. - Barrowman had already long since stopped doing it and had apologized years prior - It was not about sexual gratification, he meant it as a JOKE Despite all that he's retroactively branded a sex pest and gets the shaft, no pun intended, with studios cutting ties with him basically because Twitter told them too.
John Barrowman deserves another chance. He was outed by people who weren't even involved in the escapades. He should be allowed back because he's apologized, and I think he's suffered enough. And people involved with the escapades weren't complaining.

John didn’t deserve that. They were only going on of what what happened on the Doctor Who and Torchwood set. Things that happened years ago. They only went on about it after the Noal Clarke incident. It was pathetic in my opinion.

I've always quite liked his comedy stuff but you're right, he wasn't really that famous to begin with! Not saying he was an unknown at all but if you don't follow comedy that closely then you probably would not have heard of him. In some ways, having that affair probably made him more famous for a while.
I wouldn't say Theakston's career is "dead." Yes, he's not on TV very much now but he presents a successful show on what is quite a popular radio station, so I think that's a bit harsh. "Mainstream" TV did have more reach than radio but that's a declining medium now anyway. Not quite sure Skins cast needs to be on here. There have probably been tons of child/youth actors who decided to bin off the acting. That's not the same as having a "dead" career. People get older and want to do different things. Perfectly reasonable.
Sean Walsh was set up, the photographer knew he was going to kiss Katya and waited for them to come outside. He wasn't there just to photograph them leaving. Katya and Neil got their divorce. I'll leave it to you to work it out.
