As a Romanian, I feel honoured that Romania is 1st, that building is even more massive in real life and I would recommend everyone to go there and visit that place
At the start of this project, I was a bit skeptical about it. But now, it's looking much more likely to be finished some day. In my opinion, these huge buildings are absolutely awesome, but what will be the coolest thing at the end of everything will be the distinct lack of gaps. The idea of everything being completely seamless is such an ambitious concept, but something I reckon could be possible, surely
Correction, Burj Kahlifa was done by 3 builders. The outline and heights of the tower itself was done by Salmon (Previously known as PrinceSalmon or KingSalmon) And the tower's base was previously done by mcnoided but then passed to Salmon and Kruidnoot. Kruidnoot did the details and outside of the tower whilst Salmon did all the outlines to make it work. The building would have never been complete without mcnoided, Salmon and Kruidnoot's hard work.
After building the earth list: Step 1: Build Earth in Minecraft (✓) Step 2: The admins, mods and owners becomes presidents, ministers, etc of the countries ( ) Step 3: Make real events and let the server populate ( ) Step 4: Make a world war? ( ) Step 5: Uhhhhhh, Whats next...? ( )
Step 6: Upload all of Humanity into the Minecraft World (I mean we could do every Decade a World War and then at the end just Reloade the Pre-War Map. This could be something like an Superbowl Event or FIFA World Cup. Every Country fights for the Victory and when yours wins you gain an Star) (The Metha would be so interesting after say 50 World Wars)
Everyone always thought that technological advancements would bring us the cure for cancer, but instead, we are recreating our entire world in a voxel universe and doing a beautiful job at that. Sure cancer absolutely sucks, but I feel like this option is also not so bad.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake We just keep on trying till we run out of cake And the science gets done, and you make a neat gun For the people who are still alive
@@notme8232 I’m not even angry, I’m being so sincere right now Even though you broke my heart and killed me And tore me to pieces, and threw every piece into a fire
Really nice showcase of some great BTE builds! Can't wait to see all 100 of your favorite builds. That video would be insane! Some other video ideas for the future could be 1. "Replicating the World's Most Iconic Buildings 1-to-1 in Minecraft... and How You Can Help!" (with things like Colosseum, empire state, sydney opera house, etc) 2. "10 Most Incredible Replicas of Cities in Minecraft" (with some of the most complete locations in the BTE project). Keep the amazing videos coming!
Happy to see Romania in here, I have seen a small town of it build before on this channel, but now seeing an entire structure it's really fascinating, the thumbnail caught my eyes, I have been following this channel since the both earth 1:1 scale videos that poped up in my recommendation
im super glad that you actually mention that Josep Puig i Cadafalch was catalan since everyone just says that he was spanish. as a catalan that made my day ngl
what makes this even better is that it's all diagonals, so you know it's built ONLY by hand. That kind of Dedication is what makes a Builder in Minecraft.
All they are doing is putting the TIME to convert real life buildings into minecraft, sure the finer details require a bit of creativity but its not impossible for the average player
The history background is interesting, but honestly, I'd rather know about the people who created this in Minecraft - because this is _insanely_ amazing works. Kudos to all of them, I hope your lower back pain ceased instantly.
Okay number one definitely deserved, and your speech with Notre Dame moved me to tears wellputt beautiful done. And I honestly feel that number two Cana deserves a number three mostly for the simple design of it structurally wise it definitely deserves the number two.
oh my god this made me feel so proud to be a romanian born and raised in the same part of Bucharest as this enourmous building. the romanian palace of parliament is truly a beauty, even more so seen in real life. unfortunately, its story is kinda sad: from the 60's up until the 90's, romania was a comunist country, lead by the dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu, who gave orders for this to be built. the thing is on the site of this ginormous building was once a huge hill full of houses. basically an entire neighbourhood. but not just any, in it you could find beautiful and unique houses from times of old, churches and so many more. Ceaușescu being the tyrant that he was ordered for the hill to be turned into a flat plain so this building could be built there. nearly thousands had to relocate, even more died while building this and national architectural treasures were reduced to rubble. and for what? so that this palace of parliament could be put to use for about 10 years and then be left, abandoned. today, only 30% of this building's space is actually used, and the rest is enirely abandoned. truly sad. nonetheless, we won babyyyy🇷🇴❤️🇷🇴❤️🇷🇴
I wonder if this world will ever be up to download/avalible to public and I wonder how accurate are you gonna get, like with areas that aren't big cities and probably dont have many builders in
there’s no way you’d be able to download it. i mean, maybe computers would have advanced by the time the world is actually complete, but i’m pretty sure it would be at least like 20 TB, maybe more
Holy shit, I can't believe how well this project is going. These builds are _gorgeous_. Also I hate how France has the sick-ass Mont Saint-Michel and that we in the UK just had to create a Poundland version in Cornwall and call it St. Michael's Mount.
That’s marketing my friend, surely mont saint michel is magnificent but in many other cases in France is all tourist traps, including notre-dame, there is even a sindrome called the notre-dame sindrome that hit the tourist who fought that notre dame was great but it is presented with highest expectation, so people gets disappointed.
He has too many saves of the world. Like too many to even think of it. If he deletes the world. Nothing will happen except maybe some hours of some builders work wasted
BTE has over 30 servers. Each serving their own region by doing backups every day or every week. No one in the entire BTE has the power to take down everything
As a resident of Dubai, I can proudly say that the fountain in front of Burj Khalifa is so beautifully accurate. The things you guys build are amazing, keep it up!!
Man, it felt so great to see Palatul Parlamentului be number 1, its so rare for people to acknowledge our country, thanks man, I think I'll join the project to help finish Romania :D
1st one is located in Bucharest, Romania. It is the 2nd biggest building in the world (it was replaced on a neighbourhood that was big in the communist times) and it's also the heaviest building ever (4 billion tons)
It's crazy how far this whole project has come, and I can't wait to see what the AI made by all the programmers (and of course every other member that helped) will be able to do! Fun fact: the parliament can be actually seen from the space Greetings from Romania!
As a Romanian, It is the first time I see the Palace of Parliament get love on RU-vid. The fact that you nailed it and all the other buildings is insane
this blows my mind. seeing our world in minecraft evokes feelings i can't really explain. feels like nostalgia, but i don't think that is the case. i get a similar feeling when i think of the past, specifically times when i didn't exist yet. i think what makes this all so crazy is that WE AS HUMANS have built all of this. all of this is our creation. humans made the tech that led to minecraft's creation, and now the world is being built in minecraft. legit crying rn cuz the feeling is so profound (but im a crier so that means very little lmao) this shit is legitimately giving me chills. i feel the same way when i think about 70s-90s mall culture and the rise of American consumerism from the 50s through today (but in the fun way that fills our childhood memories lmao)
fun fact: everyday there is more stuff being built entirely new than the crew behind BTE is capable of copying each day. And even if the rate of copying exceeds the new buildings rate one day, this project will never actually end. Because not only are new buildings added each day, but also other stuff consistently changes. sea levels etc. etc.
Omg can you build my hometown *Travnik?* It has shitty street view and no 3d data. But dont worry, I will take photos for u guys. Ur my *favorite* youteber
I would really love to see the CN tower in canada on that minecraft world, I've been up there before and i cant imagine how cool it would look in minecraft
I want to log into the server and go see lagos now, i am sure someone has built the slums which would look pretty danm cool in minecraft! Kinda like that island city!
I really want to help work on champaign Illinois, I'm an Urban Planning Student at UIUC and can find some good up to date maps of the area since it's in the middle of a huge construction boom.
