The people who beat me get to say anything they want here. Paul_Wetzl wants you to play the greatest html 5 game of all time:www.abcya.com/games/andys_golf_2 Diligant1 wants you to join BTE NorthWest: discord.gg/sdnu8wM I want you to eat a peanut butter apple. Seriously try it, they’re amazing
well it would be wrong to say “this youtuber”. I doubt he will even stay in the project. anyway it should be “this group built the entire world in Minecraft.
Sadly I don't think thats possible. They built 1,000 buildings within 2 weeks and they didn't even finish all of Seattle. Rome is roughly 6x bigger than Seattle, has more architecturally advanced buildings, making the building skills required more scarce ever so slightly. Additionally, Rome has isn't city like compared to modern Seattle. Rome has smaller builings, no skyscrapers making all the builds more difficult to build in terms of detail ~ requiring more time. TL:DR: Rome is bigger than Seattle, compare time for Seattle build. Rome is more detailed.
Another thing-Seattle is extremely complicated in itself. They gave it a max with 300 people. Living here and seeing the city every day, I can tell you, it’s not simple. And yes, Rome is even more complicated. It has a whole country inside it for god’s sake!
Yo exploring the Paris catacombs with millions of wither skulls. Holy shit and soul sand omfg that would be dooooooope. Just gotta kill the wither generation or that place would last maybe n hour with asshats
Also I don’t know if they considered the world border unless I’m dumb the world border is like 30 mil blocks away so if every block is 1 meter than the world they have to work with is 60 mil blocks by 60 mil block or 180 by 180 mil feet I don’t think the world will fit in that I wonder what they are going to do
@@ender-xq8hg you are Wrong 60mil x 60 mil area in minecraft is correct but going around the earth somewhat 42000km which would be 42mil block and not more then 60
@@lllsll5749 From one pole to another earth is about 13k kilometers, a minecraft world is 60k kilometers x 60k kilometers. So they have plenty of space to do so, especially when you realise that minecraft is bigger than neptune.
Seeing how fast we're progressing, I'd say this project would be done in about 10-20 years. But, more than likely, the amount of people who are going to join this is gonna skyrocket sometime. Waiting for the finished project. You can do it.
If you guys need help, i would love to. Seattle is my fav city and shit. I would make the Alaska Way Viaduct too, it was noisy when it was around but the scenic views and drive is nostalgic/memorable. They should also make the underground Seattle, sewers, subway and the old town they had to build on top of. So much potential
@@zombie4skin28 Literally building 1:1 scale of everything on Google maps would stomp everything you are potentially talking about. You could build new York city with only diamond blocks 1:1 on 2b2t without hacks/glitches/exploits and it still wouldn't come close to a 1:1 scale planet. Obviously it will take like 10 years at it's current rate but still.
actually, this is closer to a leader in a worker co operative as he does the same labour but just has additional tasks, although motivation doesn't work.
@@metaloreo8423 well yes, but I’m assuming with the reference pictures used it was still CenturyLink Field at the time. it was only changed to Lumen Field in late 2020 and I doubt the satellite images are that up to date
@@rileymachelle4088 if it got a record on Guinness it would lose all its respect by association. If it was celebrated properly it would be beautiful to see
This is absolutely astounding! The sheer will and creativity in this project is jaw dropping. Seeing the finished project gave me chills. Ya'll should be very proud of yourselves.
If will probably never be completed without help of AI and building reconstruction based on stalletite images and different points of view of every building to 3d scan it (photogrammetry)
Holy shit I just imagined there was a nuclear fallout and humans thousands of years from now only have this minecraft world to represent the old world.
This definitely reminds me of the University of Washington Minecraft server! You should reach out to them! They’ve been faithfully recreating the UW campus (which is in Seattle) over the last year!
This is probably one of the most inspirational videos I’ve seen. And its a minecraft video. I have been playing minecraft longer than my little brother walked the earth. I love minecraft. What hit most was when he said said it will be here long after we are gone. I built a minecraft world maybe 8 years ago on my 360 and when i go back its like a time capsule and gives you the nostalgia of when you would play late at night for fun as a kid. Crazy...
I've grown up in Washington and I've been to, through around and under Seattle many times, and it's incredible to see so many familiar buildings being built!
@fossil2020 there are over 5 million “buildings” in the U.S. alone. These can be restaurants, stores, oil changes, anything. And there are an estimated 2.26 billion houses worldwide. It took them 2 weeks to build 1000 buildings, soooo its going to take a long while
It's not like there is only anything happening when Pippen says so, probably thousands of people build for their respective areas all over the world everyday on their own servers and in their own teams. These monthly events set by Pippen are certainly the biggest concentration of builders and probably also where the community is most productive, but I believe there is still a large portion of the community who don't participate on every occasion and instead built for their country, area or city continuously. I'm pretty sure there is a or there are multiple teams tackling Canada right now for instance and has/have been since the inception of the project.
I really can't wait until Spokane is built someday, would love to see it someday, I just don't have good building skills otherwise I would try and help
11:42 as someone from Seattle I’m kinda mad he didn’t put the Seahawks field on there, but hey, it’s a lot easier to put soccer lines on there than the absolute explosion of lines and numbers that is an NFL field. The rest of the stadium looks great
Every single person that takes part in this project is AMAZING!!! I love you all! Because of you guys, we can explore a Minecraft world replicated as the Earth and see places we can't visit.
as someone who lives not far from seattle, this is genuinley amazing. Im glad you chose a city like seattle instead of gravitating to los angeles or new york. keep up the builds my guy!
ok holy shit, stumbled upon your channel and what a ride this has been, i've watched like 3 videos and its like watching optimus prime talk about minecraft and all the goals we can accomplish. Love it! Keep it up!
This is incredible. When I first saw you starting the Seattle build over time it looked nice but to hear and see it completed. I hope one day to walk through the world in vr minecraft and see these amazing builds as if I was the last person on Earth.
I gotta say - “GreyDerp” and “Wigit”, in my opinion, absolutely killed it. You guys did amazing! Everyone else was also quite fantastic with their builds. It looks awesome!
If anyone lives in one of these houses, please build your own room and post a video on it, or send it in the discord, cause imagine how meta it would be
this has made me actually tempted to think about trying to join to build the stuff near where I live.. despite having not opened minecraft in months or ever really built much on this level
This had no business being this epic... But I am here for it! This is such a dope accomplishment for all those who were apart of this MASSIVE project! Congrats!
