10 INSANE Secrets You MISSED in Kirby and the Forgotten Land! [Hammer Secret/Castle Secret!] 

A feature nobody talks about is if you press the - button it instantly gets rid of your copy ability (only in stages) so you don't have to wait for the small countdown to be finished

Believe it or not, it's actually not an Oil Spill. It's how the Developers do Shadows which seem to come from Trees or different Types of Plants in Normal Playthroughs

You noted how the band waddle dees slow down or speed up during the song. You didn't note how they change mid-song too if there is a large change Or if their instrument isn't playing, they stop too. They put way more work into the deadly dees than I think anyone noticed.

Two things you didn’t know: 1. When the Morpho knight sword is equipped and on Kirby, and you go to a stage with a conveyer belt (a trip to alive mall or burning churning power plant) and you do a teleportation dodge, your dodge distance will change depending on the direction of the conveyer belt.( going with it will increase dodge distance and vise versa. 2. When the animation plays of waddle dee town while loading, you can sometimes see a waddle dee or kirby behind one of the buildings waving.

i don't know if anybody's shared this fact before but i found that fecto forgo's corridor has an end it takes about 5 minutes to get to from the start of the battle and once you're there he just does the biting attack over and over while practically right up against the screen until you defeat him i even have a clip of reaching the end on my channel from about a month ago just to show it's there

The "Oil spill" I'm pretty sure is meant to be a texture/model used to block out sunlight being cast down so that it looks like some kind of tree is growing over the building.

Did you know that in the arena, spectator waddle dee actually calls Kirby “the pink demon”? This is a smash reference. Extra stuff! The hammer sticks also appear in star Allies.

For the music fact, the slowest Kirby dances is during the beginning Fecto Forgo’s theme and the fastest is during Meta Knight’s theme after the intro.

There's a cute detail, if you use Fleur Tornado, then spin faster using analog Kirby will use "Elegan" spin and yes you can move anywhere after Kirby spin. This is only work for Fleur Tornado

did you know that with the hammer jump glitch you can skip go over a wall in searching the oasis and get to the pipe mouth section, and then do the whole thing without the pipe? idk, I thought it was cool.

Did you know: In the sound test, the Waddle-Dees will start or stop playing instruments depending on which ones are being played in the song at that time.

One additional part regarding the band is that the different Waddle Dees will change when they play. For example, the drummer will actually stop and start playing at different parts of "The Beast Pack's Final Stand." Also, I'm actually surprised my original comment about the band made it in here! I appreciate that!

Something I've noticed watching playthroughs on RU-vid (and I have no idea how anyone would notice a detail this small when playing themselves!) is that when King Dedede (in An Unexpected Beast King) is not actively in an attack animation, his eyes follow Kirby. Even if you're midair, his eyes are still following you. Haven't noticed if any other bosses do this, I only just spotted this right before I came here to post about it.

Much like the old Kirby Super Star game where there was a a point when a mini boss spawned that you could defeat them instantly with a hit from underneath with buddy bounce or the jet burst ability. In modern kirby games, bosses enter these phases where they take heavily reduced damage, the thresholds where they power up for new attacks or when they are spawning. At the end of the game when doing the arena, since you have super powered up abilities, there is a point in their spawning animations where they take full damage from attacks for a brief moment. If you have the most powerful sword ability fully charged and upgraded, you're capable of 1-hit ko'ing some of the bosses greatly reducing your times in the arena mode.

In the first Alivel mall level, there is an Awoofy at the very start who goes up the elevator If you follow them on their path, without hitting them, they will go into a secret hole in the wall

Fun fact: the king dedede soudtrack in world 4 is actually the same as kirby star allies but more slow, rocky and even as vocal

The hammer spin removes small dust piles

I don’t know if you included this in any past videos, but I believe the music notes from the Corner Stage will be different colors depending on the composer. I’m basing this off of what they did in Star Allies, and I’m assuming they made the same reference here :)

2 minor details I discovered. #1 If you 100% the game, the flowers will be more colourful because of the waddle dee watering the plants. #2 If you don’t move as cone mouth Kirby for about 10 seconds, it will turn upside down and start spinning. I would appreciate it if you include this in your next video. I hope other people find out more ideas!

I know this might not sound like anything, I found out that you can do the sword slide in the water. Just wanted to say that.

Btw making your way back from the building at the end after landing on it and going back, the bottom path is broken at the beginning. You can fly past there with storm tornado

Okay so what I’m talking about requires the hammer glitch in world 1’s boss fight level. Once in the battle go on the right side and perform the glitch which allows you to exit the arena limits and you should end up on a sidewalk. there, you can either cross the street by doing the glitch again ( because there is some green death barrier there which acts like if you fell in a pit) and explore a little part of a town, or go to the left and continue past the enourmous tree to the end of the sidewalk. there by doing once again the glitch, you can get on top of the mall ( However this time it has to be done precisely good because the rooftop of the mall is very high). At that point by repeting the glitch a few more times you can re enter the mall and reach the beggining section. Be carefull to do this during the fight and not after ( even though the camera tries to focus on Gorimondo) because it may suck you up back to the boss fight arena. One funny thing is that by going back to the cafeteria where gorimondo grabs you, you can see that his size during the fight is smaller than in the initial cutscene. Also you can now go to the rest of the cafeteria and see an upside-down floating chair stuck in mid air. Of course there is SOOO much more than that and i think it take an entire video, but I just like the attention to details and collisions of things that are out of bounds; it’s like the playable in-bounds area just covers less than a tenth of the entire map! Another fun place to do this glitch is in the 6-3 secret hal room. By going on top of the center of the room and walking then straight, because the gamera focuses on the middle, it rotates very fast ans it’s funny. But definitely check out the mall one.

There might be some more hidden secrets that we never found out about in the game probably

A cute and kinda sad little detail I noticed (that may or may not actually exist and I just got the same cutscenes multiple times in a row) is that Kirby sleeps much less restfully without Elfilin. Every cutscene I got when I went to sleep in his home after Dedede took Elfilin showed clear signs of him tossing and turning with the uneven pillow and blanket

While playing as dedede in triple deluxe and star allies his dash spin attack puts up fires so its nice that ability modeled after dedede can also do that

in rockn, roll at the end, you can stand on the right tree then shoot a target far away then leads you to HAL room

FYI the corridor of Fecto Forgo is limited and not looped/infinite like the SM64 stairs. When it ends, Fecto Forgo just stays in position and attacks

The hammer charging one is actually great. Considering the fact that you take damage when you do that in smash bros, burning off the hammers itself was a great idea!

In the battle of blizzard bridge, one way to get the waddle dee “defeat twin frosty without being hit” is to have the time crash ability with you throughout all of the boss battles. You can only use it once, which means to do this you have to drop the ability, inhale the stars the bosses drop to defeat them, and continue to inhale and drop the time crash ability so that it doesn’t disappear. When you get to twin frosty, all you gotta do is use the time crash and you will defeat them without taking a hit. There’s a video on this, but I also did it myself. All I was able to record was the 30 second clip where I beat frosty

During phase 2 of the Forgo Leon fight, Leon will use modified versions of attacks he used during phase 1 of the regular Leon fight

If you spot dodge with the Morpho Knight Sword, you become invisible for a moment.

Did you notice in Forgotten Land that the flower-watering Waddle Dee moves around from flower to flower and even talks to other Waddle Dees, like he's living a real life?

Fun Fact: There’s actually something interesting about each Sword. Each one except the 2nd one can do the Spin Attack, but all can do the Drill Stab, Meta Knight’s Sword adds Flurry Combo to the Upslash. Level 4 Sword is a combination of the Meta Knight’s Sword & the Level 2 Sword, but besides the tricks it usually has, 1 thing about it that is a Life Leecher. You can even heal during Boss Fights without a Healing Item. In other news, the way to the 1st & 3rd Hal Rooms are backwards the way you sorta find them in Star Allies. (Example: On The Whispy Woods Stage, approach but don’t fight, backtrack to the start of the room to find a door. 3rd Hal Room in Forgotten Land: Enter the Control Room of the Building Factory Stage, exit & then backtrack to the start to find a trail leading outside) 2nd Example: At the end of the Stage with the Big Boulder, shoot a target to reveal the way. In Star Allies, at the end of the Jambandra Base(the 2nd to last stage of Far Flung Starlight Heroes), Planet Popstar above Goal. The 2nd Hal Room for both games are the same idea, but there in different stages. The one in Star Allies is in the Last Part, but don’t go too far. In Forgotten Land, timing is Everything.

The name of the Waddle Dee band is the Deedly Dees. Also, the amount of Waddle Dees corresponds to the four composers who worked on this game. In Star Allies, since there were three composers, there were three musicians on the band (not counting Kirby, who's always the singer).

In sub room with the car, if your timer say 86 seconds it unlocks HAL room

on battle on the bridge if you go near some rubbish the camera zoom in then going under the rubbish leads to a ruin wall which if you hop on top of the holes u find blue coin. That not all, if u go in window it lead you to a harder version of the level

Not sure if you know about these, but there's actually a defense system where Kirby without a copy ability will take a LOT more damage than if he has one (evolutions take even less damage) and the reason for the term Fecto being used for the names of Forgo and Elfilis is clearly because that's their alien species name while the creature itself is named Forgo (or Elfilis in their completed state when fused back with Elfilin or possessing the orb gained from becoming Morpho Knight temporarily which I call Soul of Chaos). Also if you get caught by Sillydillo and get thrashed around in the cage for too long he will SMASH the cage on the ground initiating an insta-kill attack in the process (he'll also do this without fail if the next hit would normally defeat Kirby regardless) and if you play co-op with Bandana Waddle Dee not only will many of the cut-scenes be slightly altered to include him (not all of them such as Meta Knight's intro), but the bosses will alternate at random between attacking the two heroes AND will have their HP about doubled from my experience making things slightly harder to compensate for the additional help. I once also saw a Hothead do a spinning fire attack that I've LITERALLY never seen before just randomly out-of-the-blue, discovered that with some clever thinking and skill you CAN 100% the game without EVER using evolved copy abilities of any type OR assist items (that includes enhancing abilities as well though seriously, GOOD LUCK FIGHTING CHAOS ELFILIS LIKE THIS), and learned that EVERY world (with the odd exception of Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams) has a super-secret location that's optional in one of it's stages (some are HAL rooms while others are just there). Finally for those who don't know you CAN talk to Professor Waddle Dee even when you aren't connected to the internet and he'll tell you your stats as well as some interesting tidbits and tips, among them that you can zoom in the camera temporarily at any point in the game by holding right stick down for about 3 seconds (the camera reverts if Kirby moves too much) which is useful for taking some cool screenshots.

In the battle of blizzard bridge stage there's a secret warp star that takes you above the bridge and makes you fight stronger bosses

With morpho Knight sword You can trigger the windmills in abandoned beach or conquer the inferno road

a cool thing i dont think was mentioned was that after a song is over the band waddle dees will actually stop and tune their instruments, it's pretty cute

When you beat the ultimate cup z, the waddle dee town song will change

Idk if this fact has been shared before, but you can fight meta knight with the gun. (possibly others, haven't tested) All you have to do is shoot the sword, and the battle will commence, but you'll keep your powerup. There's even an animation for the sword being knocked away, so this is definitely intentional.

Something interesting about the Morpho knight sword is that if you jump and guard and press b in the air Kirby is going to do the attack of sound like I'm the Morpho knight battle

I found a very weird glitch, I’m calling it ‘ladder suck’ So, if you take damage while hanging on a ladder, falling off, and inhaling in air while still having invincibility frames. Sometimes, you have to get back on and off the ladder for it to work. Anyways, it allows infinite sucking range. A good example level for this is scale the cement summit.

If you go to the redgar forbidden lands, go to lab discovera and you could see a city in a dome which is broken. It is really cool

fun fact: in the tournement in the colosseum, there is a line where commentator waddle dee refers to kirby as the pink demon. this is a reference to the description of kirby in the boxing ring of super samsh bros ultimate

Max charged morpho sword can do tornado and that tornado can be usefull for fan puzzles

Did u know u can get to the roof of the mall at Alival Mall. (Before Gorimondo) If u use the Hammer Jump glitch under a vent after frosty, u can get on the roof of the mall and see some background or skip the whole section (Edit: you can also use the dragon fire but The hammer jump glitch is easier.)

Fun fact you can go past the skybox and if you spin with the cement summit one you can create some kind of biblically accurate kirby or something

The "Quin skip" is another name forbthe hammer glitch :D

The arch glitch gets way more glitchy you know if you just keep spinning tackling upwards you can escape the Skybox and if you go far out and you just keep spinning tackling upwards outside of the Skybox you can see every single frame of Kirby at the top

It would be cool if for a short while after you burn out the hammer you could do the hammers normal attack but with the burnt stick

You'll need to start a new file to do this but if you steal meta knights sword in the arena before you unlock the meta knight sword upgrade you get to use it early

The color of the music notes that show up when the waddle dee band plays aren’t random or meaningless, they each represent one of the game’s main composers and each color only shows up if the corresponding composer worked on that song. I don’t remember who the composers are or which color corresponds with who though

when the waddle dees play a song with only a keyboard in it, only the waddle dee with a keyboard will play.
