I want to point something out everyone forgets. In Revelations 2 Alex Wesker did manage to successfully implant her consciousness in Natalia as she showed signs in the ending scenes to be influenced as she was reading Alex’s favorite book. It is possible they set up a return for Alex Wesker in Natalias body.

The villain could be an older Natalia under the influcence of Alex Wesker. That's a plot point that never got true closure if I recall correctly. This could lead up to the death of Barry Burton as he had taken Natalia in.
They may end up surprising us and splitting RE:9 into two games: Part One and Part Two. I also don't believe it'll be the last numbered entry. It'll just work in distinct trilogies from here on out.
I would love to see RE9 tie up with the prior games somehow. Since it's probably about the downfall of the BSAA, maybe Sheva or Josh could appear in it or at least have a small cameo. It would make sense if Chris mentions Piers, since they were close and Piers sacrificed himself for the BSAA. I would also love to see Jill or Claire in it, because Jill is also connected to the BSAA and hasn't been in a RE game for so long (except RE3 Remake). Chris and Jill working together like "the good old times" would surely be an interesting experience, since they're a bit older and scarred from the war now. I just hope that Claire doesn't die (although I can understand the reasons behind this idea), because she deserves nothing but the best (but we all know Capcom refuses to give any of the characters a happy ending). As for Leon, I hope he doesn't take part in RE9, since he wouldn't really fit into the plot and I think his recent screentime was more than enough with the two remakes and the movies. It's time for other characters to shine again :)
I know its a stretch but me personally i want resident evil to do a huge avengers like reunion i know it probably won't happen but i feel like they'll do something similar to RE6 but they learned from their mistakes and have characters old & new come back for a big hurrah and travel across the globe to make the new threat feel major probably not for RE9 but maybe RE X
For me, there's two potential villains. One of them being Brandon Bailey, he was from Umbrella and considered dead, however he created The Connections and he should be alive in order to do so, so he probably is alive due to some sort of pathogen keeping him alive. The other villain is Natalia Korda, she's the only other person connected to Umbrella through Alex Wesker, she's also the adopted daughter of Barry Burton who works for the BSAA. So Natalia (Alex) is connected to BSAA through Barry and Umbrella through Alex Wesker, and then Brandon Bailey who is connected to The Connections and Umbrella, I think there could be something there if done correctly.
For the setting a small BSAA town is ideal. The main villain (hopefully Bailey that I explained in my other comments) should be willing to "test" our protagonist. This way we could have a lore explanation as to why puzzles and backtracking are needed. Having the choice between helping someone and leaving him alone should be in it. Also I want us to not be sure if the person we encounter is friendly or not. At any moment he could jump on us and attack us.
Ending the main story on the ninth title makes sense. You can divide them into three phases, the second being my favorite phase of the franchise. Became a fan playing RE4
A few things i'd like to see by the end of RE9: -Chris is injured resulting in him being taken out of the field and bringing his days as a BSAA operative to an end, thiis should preferrably be done in a way that doesn't leave a bad taste in fans mouths e.g protecting Claire. this makes a lot of sense as Chris was unable to meet Rose with the suits at the end of RE8, the only explanation for this is that he has some kind of injury that limits his mobility - Leon and Ada living a normal life together - the return of Sheva - more Ada

It would only make sense the main villain will be the founder of The Connections for 9, but a STARS reunion is not possible because Barry has most likely hung up his gun for good.
I feel like it would be a smart choice to include all of the big 4 just for marketing, probably in pairs, like in RE6 but less extreme, also they could have Barry and Rebecca as a pair but i think it might add too many campaigns and split the focus of the game
i miss multiple campaigns but they need to be more distinct then re2make or effect each other like leaving items for the 2nd campaign. I would also love co-op to make a comeback as long as it suits the story. I'm not sre which one I want more though, multi-campaigns or co-op because I don't want both. I also think we need a new evil organisation that spans multiple games like umbrella. I was hoping the secret "family" in re6 was going to be a new big bad organisation like umbrella

Capcom was gonna kill chris in 6 but didn't gor piers to sacrifice himself so i think chris should finally sacrifice himself. They should also set up side games for Jake and sherry since that plot point went unused
Bringing back Jill is gonna be interesting, especially alongside former teammates, and her still looking 25 years old. She’s also, technically (biologically?) a BOW herself. She’s had quite a journey, and the most intriguing parts have been unexplored. It would be very unfortunate if she’s written as being a source of BSAA using BOW’s in their operations. But, if so, I can see that as a motivation for another Chris/Jill team up to do some damage to the organization they founded.
Honestly the sacrifice of a major character would be like a driving force for the character we play as to continue on and avenge their death while also completing the mission
honestly you are giving too much credits to rumors, we should just stop carying about leaks and that shitty "journalism". RE9 being the last numbered entry doesn't make a lot of sense for a well received and selling series, sure I expect them to do some remakes and spinoffs after 9 but eventually they will get to 10 as well

I want cv remake and then a more modern remake of the original resident evil and then I'll be ready for 9 but that's just me. I mean obviously I'll take whatever capcom puts out that's re but over anything I prefer a cv remake before anything else.
Enemy wise I want him to be the strongest BOWS ever made. A mix of Mold T-Virus and Ouroboros since it should be Chris related. Don't shy away from mythological creatures instead mix them with the traditional enemies since it's the last numbered entry it could give some gruesome enemies. Take Re4 range of enemies. As a main villain it should be Brandon Bailey or Spencer hell even both if there's the two campaigns stuff
I think (or rather hoping) its brandon bailey researching a way to revive spencer,whos consciousness resides within a mold sample spencer stole after he left miranda,i mean how else did brandon know about miranda and the mold to begin with? It was a personal secret only spencer knew,plus how tf did old man brandon survive an assassination attempt by albert wesker? I would love Ada to have a dlc in 9. She’s just so cool. And I’d want the main character to be Jill, Claire, Rebecca or Chris. The villain should be Natalia/Alex unless they’re gonna use her for revelations 3 which makes sense. And I would like the enemies to be kinda like the leeches from 0, or the slimy things from revelations 1. Something scary. Also the pov thing: literally just do both it’s been done before and everyone’s happy

If this is the conclusion to this chapter of resident evil I want all the main 4 to return maybe by having Chris and Leon in one campaign and Jill and Claire in the other that being said I don’t think this is the last one and my wants if thats the case would be the return of Ada, Leon and Claire, and the farthest stretch that no one cares about but I have wanted since I played my first RE being able to get Ebony and Ivory from DMC as bonus weapons
Also I hope they do at least bring up Rose in RE9, I know the Winters family saga was concluded in RE VILLAGE, but Rose has a connection to the mold, and she has powers too, she’s a big deal

If you want to bring the 2 campaigns back have Brandon Bailey (leader of the Connections) as Chris vilain and Spencer as Jill's. This way Chris would have a villain connected to 7 and 8 while Jill has one connected to the first game.

If I remember correctly (I maybe wrong though)i think the earliest of swapping between first person and third person in the game was [resident evil: dead aim]. Granted it was not perfect since the only way to shoot the monsters is going to first person with a rail shooter hud and to look around and examine things was only in third person.
I wouldn't mind Ada being in the game. I just have a hard time seeing her still being a mercenary in her 50s. I think they need to find something else for her to do. Maybe she starts working in intelligence or she started her own mercenary company. Personally, I think Ada would be best used for spin-off games that take place earlier in the timeline Age also would keep Barry out. He's in his mid-60s. Let him be retired. The only proper time for him to be used, would be if they make Revelations 3, but that should take place between 2012 and 2020
First of all I think that Brandon Bailey leader of the Connections should be the main villain. He knew Umbrella's founders and was the protege of James Marcus. His organization influenced the events of 7 and to an extent 8. I want him to be responsible for the events of Village. Selling Miranda to Chris's team and he could have one of them working for him or all of them. Another thing I want is that Bailey was always connected to him through the Mold this way it could explain Chris natural strength and also that Chris is Umbrella greatest success (creating a perfect being/soldier). This way you can come full circle without having to bring back someone again and he could be a good antagonist. Design wise I want him to have long brown hair and white clothes to do an interesting parallel with Wesker
U know u bring an interesting point : if u noticed,the bsaa soldiers clearly display symptoms associated with progenitor infection (hairloss,pale skin,discolored blackened veins,and golden cat like eyes) yet no necrosis,size increase,aggression,loss of brain power,hell thy can mimic human behavior better than ganados even,mayb brandon found a way to unlock progenitors secret potential usin the mold,esp whn u realize evelines mold was artifically strengthened with a virus,so mayb the soldiers are a result of tht and he needed miranda outta the way on orders of spencer for his grand plan

It's saying that they would be able to milic human voices but if they were to bring back Spencer I hope they don't bring Wesker. They could use Bailey for promotion and depict as the main villain while in reality it's Spencer. Though both have a difference Bailey is more focused on profit than creating godlike beings
jill uses a rope of grenades to weaken the final boss making him or her vulnerable enough for the rest to finish off the boss chris losses it make him look like punching a boulder look easier the rest of the team uses a rail gun to obliterate the final boss

I just think having 4 main characters with then barely exploring 2 of them just makes it seem like it’s pointless to keep all 4 alive. Also I don’t see Sherry appearing in RE9 at all. There’s a better chance of a STARS Reunion or the entire core four appearing over her. Even Sheva has a better chance
I feel like third and first person could revolutionize games the way RE4 did if they did it right. Communicate to the player that camera angle is situational and not preferential and suddenly the player is ready for tight crawls through vents and big arena fights without any of the compromises the camera angles come with individually.
It would be a great choice if they kill claire if RE: Code Veronica is going to came out before (Making new fans love her) or After (Making all the fans that play 9 wanting to give her a last shot)
I don't want to see no mythical creatures, I rather see zombies and tyrants like the original , with Chris and Jill campaigns, I hope they don't screw up this RE9 game, I did not like Re7 and Re8, so I lost interest in this resident evil franchise, I hope RE9 brings back original Characters and better storyline with 3rd person view

Right now I’m catching up on replaying a lot of horror franchise while also replaying the Final Fantasy franchise to do a ranking on that soon after Rebirth’s release.
i love all 3 camera angles... but if i had to pick one... it would be over the shoulder! i would love to see Sheva make a return to the series, and definitely Claire as well! but if i had to pick only 2 playable characters... it would be Leon and Jill, finally teaming up!! i think Chris is overrated and has had more than enough screen time
Another great video, but why does Spencer have to be the villain when we already have a great one set up? Think back to Rev2, and Alex Wesker is alive and kicking inside Natalia. We know from RE5 DLC and Rev2 that she's an absolutely brilliant researcher, so I could easily see her taking over Natalia's body to join the BSAA's Research Division and rise to the tippy top, only to continue her original "plan" and work on BOWs. This would solve both your 2nd and 1st point, as Barry would join the team to find out the truth from her, and he could sacrifice himself for her in the endgame, leading to Natalia reasserting herself and retaking her body to help the Core4 kill off whatever final boss monster the She-Wesker may have conjured up! Heck, I could see it set up the next age of RE titles too, with the Core4 hanging up their boots while a new Superpowered BSAA takes over, ideally composed of Ashley Graham, Natalia, Sherry and Rose Winters, with previous side characters like Sheva and Rebecca taking up leadership roles instead!
Cause spencer is the overarching series villain,its cause of him the weskers are the way they are,literally if it werent for him,alex and albert woulda lived normal lives,had families,worked borin jobs and expired afterwards,if it werent for tht man,99 percent of the events in RE universe woulda never happened to begin with,i mean he deserves tht spotlight more thn any other villain,like whats worse? Honestly hope they stick to not using the mainline characters, would love it to be a future rose story instead and have the bsaa story done in a different game like "resident evil wolf squad" 😅 that way they can push more of the horror that was kind of lacking in 8 into 9 and do something more like 7 but still keep 8's scale, though bsaa rade as a game would be sick, or maybe just Jill main for that investigating into the bsaa before Chris gets there in the second half of the game, could bring in other characters that way like maybe she was looking into the Europe devision specifically because Claire and terrassve were already there.
If rev 3 doesn't wrap up the she-wesker thing with natalia being a wesker they cpuld make her the villain. Though that might not be good since this idea requires you to play a side series. Either way the villain needs to be EVIL village one was super random & boring.
