Of all the females in Star Wars cartoons, movies, and live action, Sabine Wren is one of my favorite female characters, Would love to see her in The Mandalorian and Ahsoka on Disney+. Thanks for the great review. May the 4th be with you.
My favorite women characters are: 1.- Ahsoka Tano 2.- Jyn Erso 3.- Sabine Wren 4.- Assange Ventress 4.- Torra Dosa 5.- Bo-Katan 6.- Padme 7.- Leia 9.-Satine 10.- Rey "Skywalker" Sorry for the position of Leia and Padme, it's more fun the appearances of the other characters
I haven't put together a list like yours. I'd rather not rank characters solely based on whether they're male or female. With that said, Ahsoka is up there with Yoda for my favorite characters in all of Star Wars. Assajj is pretty high as well. Love her story arc in The Clone Wars and in Dark Disciple. To be honest, I enjoy all of those characters on that list in one way or another. They all bring something unique and great to Star Wars.
if expand your list with video games and books there are some really awesome female characters there aswell, like Bastila Shen, Kreia, Mara Jade and all time favorite waifu nightsister Merrin.
@@MrDemonidze Yeah, I've been working on some other 10 interesting facts videos for some legends and canon characters, so keep them eyes peeled my friend 😉
Hopefully he’ll bring her in for betraying the galaxy and bring Thrawn back. Sorry Ahsoka, but you’re apprentice is a criminal now and her actions do border on treason.
You might be right. Off the top of my head, I can only recall Hera and Ezra having met Thrawn in person. I'm about 2/3 of the way through a re-watch of season 3, so I guess I'll find out soon enough.
@Star Wars Transmissions This would have to be the most educational video about my very favourite character who I look up to. I didn't know about fact 10. Wow, just wow
also her left shoulder plate has had info (idk i forgot the word) on what would happen later in the series. for example, in season 1 and kinda 2 i think had a wolf, and in season 4 lothwolves help the ghost crew. in season 3 i(i think) she has morai, which was hinting at Ahsoka returning and in the epilogue, she has a spacewhatle (i forgot the name) which could mean that the spacewhales could be what helps Ahsoka and Sabine find Ezra
@@StarWarsTransmissions i definetly want a sequel about sabine and ahsoka looking for ezra and a prequel, even if its short or a single movie or something, about how the ghost crew started ig
True that is why i believe Sabine can be the rightful wielder of the dark saber as her ancestor Tarre Vizsla was. In my opinion Sabine seems to be quite connected with the darksaber and i haven’t seen anyone else be connected with the dark saber, just use it as a symbol for mandalore but i’m not saying Sabine should be the rightful ruler i mean don’t get me wrong… Sabine also doesn’t want to rule but i agree with her wielding the dark saber beacuse it would be better. Or at least they can make a story that Sabine found the dark saber again and fixed it with her power who knows… and probably decided to keep it for her own to protect it or give it to the mandalore or keep it locked somewhere… but to be honest i am very okay with bo-katan being the rightful ruler even after all she did, because to be honest most of the people believe bo-katan was the reason of mandalore’s destruction and the death of her people and also had the opportunity of the dark saber but lost it and got it destroyed by Moff Gideon… so who in the world would call themselves rightful ruler and hold a dark saber when they can’t keep up with it, i don’t understand it. I mean if she can’t fight in battles without knowing her attacks and moves and strength she is just going in a path of losing and not achieving anything and especially lacking of her energy as we also see in the fight with moff Gideon. I mean i know it that it also wasn’t bo-katans fault sometimes but her wielding the dark saber again after so many times she losing it… it just doesn’t make anymore sense even after the things she did once, and the creed might see her as disrespectful to wield the dark saber again, now as much as i love bo-katan also as my favourite “Other” character i still can’t deny the truth of what she did and what terrorist group she once was also to attack her sister satine. So even after all of this everyone can call her a rightful ruler so i can call her that too. But in my opinion Sabine should be. Even to hold the dark saber as generously as she did once but yes i do respect these characters and wish to see how Dave does with Sabine, and who knows if Sabine would be a rightful ruler i would be okay with that and with bo-katan too and even if Sabine has the force or without it. But who knows perhaps the dark saber might come back to Sabine after all and a good story might come too as we know that Sabine is a descendant of mandalore the great Tarre vizsla (if no one knows then it’s confirmed in an interview over 4 months ago and also in rebels we notice ursa wren in which she was born as a vizslan bc ursa’s parents were vizslan and we notice her say that she would tolerate the Jedi’s presence of Ezra and kanan just because of they’re ancestor Tarre vizsla and it’s also confirmed in websites so still) i really can’t wait for the show and to see Sabine too because she is also one of my favourite characters just like bo-katan and some other mando because yes i’m pretty obsessed with mando shows and the characters and casts and for ahsoka now too.
Very helpful synopsis of this incredible character. I had no idea about the Sabine women and the origin of her name. Now I am wondering if maybe because of the prolific nature of the art dedicated to that incident that might have influenced her being so artistic. She is my favorite Mandalorian . . . still.
Other explanation might be due to the role of these women afteward. According to the legend, after the abduction, the Sabine people mounted an army to fight the Roman and take back their daughters. But during the fight, the Sabine women steped into the fray and stoped the bloodbath between their fathers & their husbands. Then, both people made peace with eachother and eventually merged into the first roman population. These women had a role of peace bringer among a brotherly war of military societies, wich is kinda similar to the role Sabine had in season four of Rebels: bringing peace and unity to the most fearsome warriors of the Galaxy. BTW: Sabine is the best character in Star Wars. Fight me.
@@StarWarsTransmissions I‘m the same age as her and I‘m really into drawing and fighting, so seeing her find her own way in the galaxy inspires me to find my own way here in this reality
@@laxa_7860 That's what's up! She really is a cool character, and I'm really hoping we see her in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and/or a Rebels sequel series.
@@StarWarsTransmissions Years ago, there was false online speculation that Boba Fett was Sabine's father. It makes no sense because Sabine was born 2 years after the Battle of Geonosis and Boba Fett was 12 at the time of her birth. If she was Boba Fett's daughter, she would Sabine Fett. She's a Wren.
Wait, hol up. She was surprised that her weapon that was meant to target beskar alloy, pretty much only used by mandalorians, would be used against mandos...
I thought Galen Marek was responsible for the flag that became the symbol of the rebellion? It was his families crest that he found on Kashyyk? At least that’s what I read. Vaders apprentice’s story? Or was that a different storyline?
she is unique amongst her people her compassion and empathy sets her apart from most her people -- those same qualities will give her a raw connection to the Force and make her a terrific guardian and her Mandalorian heritage will push her... she'll never stop growing. as Mandalore, she can succeed those of the past and expand them in ways that they could only dream of. Sabine can create the galaxy that Revan, Dooku Anakin tried to create -- she has the tools.
@@coletrain583 we all would've done the same for those we love... frankly, ya'll hating her for it scares me. was it reckless? yes. but knowing her as we do, she won't stop until she fixes it.
@@coletrain583 that's life, unfortunately. No one should be surprised by what Sabine did. She was abandoned by her family and her people and walking away from everything that she'd ever known, finally mending things with her family only for them all die... She was always gonna put finding him Ezra above everything else. After all that she lost -- that was gonna push her further. She needed him for her own sanity. The Jedi's views on emotions and attachments are their greatest weakness -- as we saw from Barriss, Anakin, Yoda and Bastilia.
@@Shadowkiller-dq2ju Not sure what other answer you're looking for. It doesn't happen during Rebels, so all we get is what Sabine says in season 4. She was in the Imperial Academy, helped develop the weapon, and then destroyed it once she realized how devastating it would be to Mandalorians. There's not much else to really say about why she did it.
@@Shadowkiller-dq2ju she's only 16 in season 1 of Rebels, so she's was just a teenager when she helped develop the Duchess. Teenagers do stupid shit all the time.
