Personally I think crystals are fine as long as you don't worship them or think they have any kind of power but I don't understand why some people say it's isn't ok to just admire their beauty (but you can have your own opinion and that's mine)

But as a believer you still read the Bible. When you "just have" these cristald, you don't exactly whorship them, but you just deal with them. Explaining these so people aren't confused any further!! 1. Healing stones and crystals- this isn't referring to the crystals or rocks themselves but to the practice of them. In the new age religion and spirituality, people tend to use crystals as divine items but as Christians the crystals are nothing more than rocks created by God to look pretty😂 2. Tapestry- it depends on what you have, but most of the ones that look like the one she put in the video have a lot to do with Hinduism and a bunch of other religions. 3. Dreamcatchers- From what I learned these originate from some Native American Tribes, they again have to do with spirits and things that does not align with scripture or God 4. Sage- Again, spirituality I don't know TOO much about sage but I do know it's a part of some practices and have to do with warding off spirits. If you're Christian and you're feeling off about demons, dark spirits, etc... your first instinct is to pray over your space. But you can also invest in censers, and use incense to cleanse your space before prayer like they do in some churches. Just make sure you look through scripture for the right scents and all the rules around it. 5. Tarot cards- this should be self explanatory, but I'm not sure which religion this stems from and I don't wanna say anything wrong. But it's basically the same as going to psychics or seers, which aren't a thing in Christianity/ doesn't align with God. In the spiritual sense, this is an easy way to open yourself to attacks and break the natural barrier between the physical and spiritual world. 6. The Evil eye- again self explanatory, we simply do not believe in the evil eye because Jewelry is simply jewelry and giving it any superior meaning or status turns into idolatry. 7. Hamsa - don't know much about it but I'm guessing it's either from another religion or it's idolatry. Both are bad 8. Statue - Different religion, also Idolatry 9. The monkeys - don't know much about it 10. Candles lit up for saints - you gotta be real careful about this one, because it because Idolatry pretty easily. Honoring saints is one thing but putting them above God, even unconsciously is another. A lot of those candles are made for Virgin Mary, honor her but don't idolize her. ‼️This is specifically for Christians or anyone just wanting to know. A lot of these are rooted in Idolatry so we are to avoid them. Pray if you don't understand it and ask for more clarity and understanding rather than lashing out. I’ve seen a few comments, so I’ll try to clear this up: Crystals and dream catchers for aesthetic reasons is okay. The only issue is what company you buy them from. Your money doesn’t just get you the item, but it supports the beliefs of the company. If you want one of those two things for aesthetic reasons, find a company that sells them for that purpose. It’s okay if you already have them and don’t know anything about the company. Ignorance is not as bad as knowing and still buying it, because you were unaware!
I personally still wouldn't risk it... especially if you got it from a place that worships witchcraft. Same with prayer candles, can I still use them if I’m praying to Jesus? I considered converted to orthodox Christianity and bought some to do their morning prayers, but now second guessing after attending their service and seeing this video. I get confused when Christians condemn everything religious but not Christian as demonic. I can accept that demons could exist. I can accept that angels exist. But I also can see that all religions can be applied in a way that is incorrect and harmful to people. So if that's true it really makes it hard to call a single religion bad. It's not the object or the tool it's the person using it and the source of their intentions.
They are not condemning....they are convicting..... someone bringing correction is not condemning. When i think of crystals and all that, i think of 1 Corinthians 8 (go read it). We know there is no real power behind them, its just part of Gods beautiful creation. But for the sake of people who DO believe they have power and all that, we should not have them even in our house, so that our fellow believer does not stumble. if you're looking for a verse that says these exact things, you won't find it. A lot of these stem from other religions/practices, and some can lead to idolatry and false worship which is a huge thing that we should avoid, it's said throughout scripture.

Additionally, it’s about the spirits associated with those objects. In the book of Acts in chapter 19 verse 12, they talked about how Paul’s handkerchiefs were able to touch the sick and heal them (bc God’s Holy Spirit was working through them). This shows that spirits can definitely move through objects whether by the Holy Spirit or from evil spirits. In Acts 19:19, it explains how those who used to practice magic burned their books! It is definitely Biblical to get rid of items that clearly contradict God. The way to know if it contradicts God and invites evil is to walk with Him more intentionally and read His Word! The issue is what you intend to do with it or what you are using it for - what are your beliefs and intentions surrounding that object - it’s an issue of the heart, not things. And as I said not only that I was depressed and thought I was crazy I always wanted somebody to telle everything would be okay and that they loved me. This is before I was saved so I didn't fully understand it because I wanted someone but no one could do it I'll write out am explanation after I finish my story. But yeh after I came to Christ He filled that void and soon after the demons stopped showing out because one night I can't remember what I was watching but my bible is always next to me on my bed so I usually face the wall when I sleep so when I turned around to reach for my bible to rebuke these spirits it's dark because it was night but again these things are demons unfamiliar spirits it was standing over my bed leaning over the celling because these things are really tall and I wasn't scared I was prepared to start because I'm a Child of the Most high God you're not scaring me..

I would love to go digging for crystals and would keep what I found. I would not worship them. So that is the difference I believe. I think it should have been explained more if you use them for anything other than a pretty piece of nature. ✝️
I have dream catchers and jewelry with evil eye and crystals here i got taught that evil eyes protect you from evil spirits and demons and that dream catchers protect ur dreams for demons and evil spirits, and crystals do nothing. Im christian. I dont know- ever wince i got a dream catcher i never got a nightmare again. What if they are items from God? I dont know i will prob ask someone wiswr than someone on the internet.
Sis add hindu idols too im hindu women i went through alot of darkness and trauma becoz of hindu idols worship they are not gods they possess people whoever worship them attract people towards them onee day i was depressed i asked god whoever the real god is show me truth then next i saw jesus on my room wall i was likee who is this men becoz i don't know jesus at that time after few days group of people invited us to a placee for prayerr i don't it wass jesus prayers mom me went and prayed lighted candle from that day i felt healing in my body i slept for hours and hours everyday afternoon's and nights like a little baby my body healed through sleep i didn't feel spirits roaming near my bed and shadows following i felt like my peaceful life came back jesus christ showed me the truth he guided me he saved me when i was depressed and near to death he destroyed those evil possessions in my body but my family members are not allowing me to have bible and jesus prayers in my they only allow me to pray to jesus secrectly that no one outside and relatives know those hindu idols in my home im not able get rid off but everyday i pray to jesus and listen to prayers

The Apostle Paul told Christians that pagan idols were just wood and stone. If you are not bowing down to them and in some way you think they are embewed with powers and try to use them as such then objects such as a budda is just wood and stone and art from another culture. The question is really why do you have them and is it an issue for you, to cause you to stumble or lead you into a false religion. If it represents to you a belief system and a other power source apart from Christ then yes it is an idol and you should remove it.

I think that its about the heart behind it. If someone has a crystal because it reminds of the beauty of God's creation, that's different than having crystals because of their "healing powers."
For goodness sake, we have statues of Our Lady and Saints in Catholic churches, also angels are included in Catholic mass prayers. God made beautiful crystals, why not have them?

I agree with you about most of those items. However i am interested to know what the difference is of using a doctor's scalpel as a tool for a healing surgery, using herbs for healing and immunity, using certain crystals (which emit negative ions which have been shown to reduce stress) for anxiety? All of these are God-given tools which we use in gratitude and asking Him to bless them for our use. It is NOT (should never be) worshipping the tool itself. What are your thoughts?

Listen I don’t know if anyone will see this , but I’m 16 , I’m a guy and I live with my parents , I have been a Christian for about 3 years and have really been devoting most of my life to Christ in recent time , I have had conversations with my mum about this as she owns buddah statues and I have said that it is likely I will leave if they are not removed and she has refused , I have worse thoughts and am less calm in my home I believe because of these things . Any advice ? I will most likely leave asap as it seems to be the right call
I wasn't a Christian until I was 22 and in college. My beliefs were so opposite from my parents that I just started planning for like over a year to move out and moved in with my Christian cousins during the rest of my college years. Even if I didn't find my cousins who went to same college as me, I would have kept searching to find roommate or done anything I could to move out. Especially since I was still very new with Christianity at the time I felt I need to be in a better environment to realign my life as I also dealt with the struggles of school. God blessed me with so many wonderful friends after I moved out and I never moved back. Even after 10 years I cant stay with my parents for very long because of how negative they are in life. But I still give them my most respect and kindness. My parents acted like high school bullies towards me and my siblings. Even as I am 30 their behavior has never changed. Back then my friends also recommended that I moved out too. I remember living with my parents my spirit was so depressed. It wasn't until after I moved out that I became more healthier and happy mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I felt more stable and secured even tho I was struggling being broke lol. But my spirit was still good. I would suggest as you are 16 to start planning your life now as I think it would be better long term. I mean you will have to move out eventually anyways when you get older to have a life of your own altho I heard it's more expensive these days to live out on your own. ( I moved to different country to live cheaper.) But anyways, I would pray a lot about it everyday for the Lord to guide you on your steps of what steps you should take and to receive wisdom while you act out on planning every possible option that you can do. I literally filled up journals writing out a good plan of what career to do, how could I support myself, cons and pros of every option. If you have a job, save your money towards owning your own car to transport yourself places, or towards your future home. I wouldn't feel guilty to leave your parents, it's like a bird that has to leave their nest. You are almost adult age. You have make decisions to better your future to live a life of real success and happiness. Im sorry you are going through a hard time. I pray fo your during this time as you decide what to do for your future. I also pray that you have friends who are able to support you during this time so that you are not going through it alone. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with you a this time with his helping hand.
Also about the Buddha statue. You are very brave to say to your parents to have them be removed as a kind of ultimatum threat...i forgot the word. I could never say that to my parents.😂 I would have my butt chewed out if I was your age hahah😂 Just not how I was raised. But I get how you feel about it. My parents also owned Buddha statues and I didn't like it. They knew I didn't like it but of course I didnt say anything. But Something happened to me right b4 I became Christian so my parents removed their Buddha statues and became more believers in Christ. I was surprised. Altho these days their behaviors is not completely changed I am still grateful for just the little change. Anyways, I hope you are able to figure out the right decision of what to do and I hope my experiences helped you a little bit to get some insight. I regret not planning thoroughly when I was 16 because now I still have to rely on my parents for some financial support because of college debt. And for me being attached to my parents is a headache and depresses me. I would have done things differently if I had taken my situation of my relationship with my parents more seriously as I had a bad home environment. So I want to hopefully give advice to young adults that if you they are living in an abusive home please start planning. Even if your home environment is not as bad tho it's just better to plan your future as it will save you in the long run even tho it will be hard.
@@Thedead_treeguy Actually in reality, even if it's not about religious beliefs, if the young adults/ the child and parents aren't able to make a compromise or at least try to meet in the middle, then it is best they do move and explore their own life when they get adult age 😅Sometimes it does help with the realization of knowing how to balance one's self beliefs and other people's beliefs. Plus we don't know if there are other troubles going on the family. But I'm pretty sure you have had your differences with your parents and even friends to not be able to work things out even if it's not about religious beliefs.
