Just a summary to help with remembering: 1. Get into your opponent’s head 2. Never settle for a deep shot early 3. Always touch your opponent constantly early 4. Use your jabs early and often 5. Contest shots off center 6. Get to your kill spots 7. Stay handsy, dont get lazy on defense 8. Create contact to create space 9. Remember what your opponent has been successful with and struggled with 10. Remember what worked for you but dont keep pulling the same move
I am truly grateful to watch such a skilled trainer who understands the importance of being humble because he understands the struggles that people go through as life goes on since life won’t make it easy for you. Also, the reason why I like watching JLaw is not because of his skill but instead of humbleness and IQ towards the game he loves playing the most.😁🏀🔥
"If the defender creates contact with you, they will create chaos...but if we can create contact with the defense, we create separation." Honestly, that's big facts right there.
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” -Sun Tzu, Art of War
@@TOPG__ the professors handles are impeccable the only way jlaw will score is if the professor DOESN'T GET THE BALL 1ST if he does its game over! Hes played pro players as big and as skilled as him before Of course you probably didn't know that HIS SIZE WONT MATTER IF HE CANT GAURD HIM
UniKue got talent!!! Professor plays pick up games at parks and calls them pro comp hahaha Dude would get killed in 1’s against jlaw you just fanboy who likes seeing guys doing 100 crossovers before scoring hahahaha
2:58 use jab early and often, make a double move see how defender reacts and beat them controlled quick step 4:20 get to kill spots. Anywhere in the paint, attacking midline for a short jumper, lift fake step through, step backs, bump finishes, turn around step through, etc Corner operate toward baseline, get into paint 6:15 find the defender, create contact first. create separation. If the defender initiates the contact its chaos. If u do it first it's easier to make a play 6:52 on defense Remember what ur opponent has been successful with and what they've struggles with 7:52 Remember what move worked so u hit them with counters. Use one move and don't use it again until a couple games later.
Yo! Jlaw, what is it called when you passed your defender and you slow down and kinda push him with your arm so you keep him in the back ???🤔🤔🤔(it's hard for me to explain it)
hey coach. how tall are you and how much do you weight? you are very quick, yet pretty strong too. i wanna put on some weight but i don't wanna be affected by it.
This is the first time I saw this guy and I was like, he looks like a D-bag but let me not judge him by his appearance. Then his first tip is literally, be D-bag, it will help u win games
Just trust your work ethic lol let them worry about you, let your game speak for itself, the ones that need a player to be at 50% to win, probably cut corners in their preparation
I see you got that all star spalding. Let me come out there hoop with you when the virus calm down... I could show you some shit ima be honest with you.
Good advice but in the hood trying to get in your opponents head will get you chin checked and might lead to full out brawl maybe even a shoot out so I pass on that. I am talking from experience btw 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Number 1 key to winning a 1v1 if you SUCK AT DEFENSE: require a 3 dribble limit. Worlds of wisdom by cowardly Jordan Lawton. Don’t work on your foot speed or defensive mechanics! Just be like Jordan and require a 3 dribble limit and change the rules to cover up your weaknesses! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣💩
