AJ, you’ve presented us with yet another informative, fun, and well-designed video. Kudos to your team! I’ve immersed myself in Disney News and American politics since March 2020, and this is my take: Disney is going to focus on parks etc. outside of North America until controversies and literal fights drift away in the USA (hopefully). Maybe there’ll be new shows and renovations of existing property in the US, but no shovels in the ground except for those already underway (Moana and Tiana.). If a North American wants major new Disney stuff over the next several years, he or she will have to get on a cruise ship or fly over a big ocean. At least, that’s what I would do if I were a Disney executive. Disney is a worldwide brand with millions of fans outside the US, fans who probably are less likely to get into fights or violate the Courtesy Key. I’ve been only to Tokyo Disneysea and it’s awesome - and, you’re right, their merch is light years beyond what you see in American parks and ShopDisney. I just hope American problems settle down before I am too old or disabled to make these trips.

Can someone please explain the zootopia excitement?? I’ve taught kindergarten for years and I’ve never heard my students even talk about these characters or this movie. Certainly not how they talked about Elsa, Encanto, etc. Just strange to me how they’re focusing on a movie that isn’t as big!

Thank you so much for covering some of the changes in non-USA Disney parks. I live closer to Tokyo Disneyland than any other Disney park. It’s about a 10 hour flight to there, Shanghai and Hong Kong Disneyland are about an 11 hour flight away; Los Angeles - 12.5 hours; Orlando 18 hours; Disneyland Paris 22 hours. It would be great if there was a Disney park in Australia but the population may not be high enough.

Planning Disney Paris trip for august 2024 and Disney Tokyo trip for august 2025! I’m now even more sure the timing of those trips will be great! Alaska cruise in 2026 and then we gotta see re Shanghai and Hongkong. I can’t decide if I want to attempt separate trips to each park or open jaw tickets to both.

With all the politics surrounding WDW I feel like Orlando won’t get too many updates…such a shame!
