I like that Abby keep telling us to keep going even though she's out of breath & feels it as much as we do. I find it hard to watch work out video's where the instructor is super energetic the whole time like he or she isn't out of breath or dying like I am. Like DOES THIS PERSON FEEL NO PAIN!!!!
I was questioning this at first but holy cow - I don't think I have ever felt my glutes get targeted or activated that much. New favorite glute workout!
I'm crashing at my parents (house-sitting, got stuck due to corona, then my dad got hurt, finally going home in a week!) There's no way there's enough room in my bedroom. So sad. Hopefully tomorrow I can use the office for a while! Gonna be doing catch-up once I'm home for sure, but anything I get to do now is welcome.
Update my booty has grown so much!! I mean compared to before when I weighed just under 120 u can imagine there’s not much there but now the amount of surface area and weight I’ve gained back there is insane😭😭
Update, I’ve been doing this workout for over a year now (I’m 21 now) and I use it now as part of my warmups before I get into my lifting routine and isometrics. I just wanted to express how grateful I am that I came across this video as it’s the reason I saw results so fast in the first months and continued to workout consistently for over a year. For anyone interested in my progress, I used to weigh 116lbs when I started and today I weigh 135 lbs. I gained 20 lbs on a calorie surplus, weight training, and referencing the exercises in this video for my warmups every single session. Most of the weight is noticeable muscle in my glute and theigh area! Seeing how much bigger my legs look with the muscle makes me proud :) also motivates me to keep seeing progress. I used to always be very insecure about being so skinny instead of a bit more filled out like my colombian family, but now after not seeing family after a long time over the pandemic, they all say I look much healthier when they see me (more weight is good in my family haha) - not unhealthy weight but I definitely have filled out to look more like a woman :’) Anyways, I still have soo much progress to make so maybe I will come back and update in a year.
Just putting it out there this is the best glute excersise I've been doing this workout since this video came out and my butt has never looked better this is no joke 👌👌
@@carolinaforero8237 so I already had a booty to begin with but it definitely toned it and gave it a great shape and I also noticed some growth as well 😁
I’ve honestly never done a glutes workout where I actually felt it in my bum rather than my thighs UNTIL NOW! You explain the correct form so well that my glutes were BURNING in a good way🥳 I’ve never been so motivated to work out as I am doing this challenge and I’m absolutely loving it so thank you!
Being in Aus i love that these get posted right before i go to bed so i get so excited to wake up and try these! Thanks Abby! My body is soreee but loving the challenge so far 🙏
Hello there! Would you consider doing 10 minute workout videos standing only exercises? You see my coworkers and I do a 10 minute standing workout on our 10 minute break every day. We are just getting bored and tired of doing the same videos there's not a whole lot of standing only exercise videos and for us it's hard to get down on our dirty floor at work!. Ps I love your videos and all the info you provide us with. Thank you so much
Abby: It looks easy but you'll be feeling it at the end of this circuit My butt: *already on fire* 🔥🔥🔥🔥 This was an amazing workout, it totally isolates the glutes, I loved it!!
I am new to my fitness journey and there has been no one I have found that is as encouraging and amazing as Anny. This makes me feel so good working out and her encouragement makes me want to keep going! I absolutely LOVE HER!
WOW. Honestly for the past two years I have not worked out in years and lost the most muscle mass in my butt. This ONE work out I can actually FEEL it. Will do this every day. SUBSCRIBED!
I just want you all to know I had to stop this video like four times to get used to the rhythm and I still don't have it perfected, but I almost cried at 8:53 because I really needed that extra inspiration 🙌
On the last two circuits I feel the burn on the opposite side. When it said left side I felt the burn on the right side and vice versa. Did you experience this or am I doing the exercises wrong?
@@sydneyjohnson5094 omg, I thought I was the only one!! I thought I might be doing it wrong, today is day 4 and it’s still the same …. Whatever I do, my right butt cheek seems to burn more, and always feels more sore, maybe my pelvis is distorted?? I have no idea
Abby, you are one of my favorites! I just found out about you/your story recently (through Facebook initially), but I love how relatable you are, and really appreciate the fact that you actually explain the whys/hows in layman's terms (THANK YOU). You are upbeat without being over-the-top or way too chatty (I like getting right down to business!), plus, your workouts are creative and leave me feeling accomplished. Definitely looking forward to doing more of your workouts in the Made to Move It challenge!
I really have a hard time getting my glutes to engage, surprisingly even with a glute bridge. I know my lower back and hamstrings always try to do all the work, but I actually feel it with this workout. I have done this one a couple times and will keep it in my back pocket.
make sure to warm up before & activate the glutes! and try sending your knees + butt back when doing squats! also try to push out with your heels. just keep adjusting your position until you feel it in your glutes instead of back/quads/etc.
REALLY great workout, I’ve never felt my glutes burning before but you made it happen! I really like your attitude and how you show that it’s okay to struggle during a workout. Thank you for this, this is all I need to make sure my glutes are doing their job! Also it literally doesn’t feel like 10 minutes, it feels like 5 minutes!
Holy crap Abby! My butt is BURNING. I’ve been weightlifting for years, and while I’ve built muscle, I’ve never felt quite a burn as what you’ve given me just now 😂 did this after day 1 of the made to move it 30 minute full body workout and my butt is SORE
I've been just starting to get back into shape. And these videos are so inspirational for me to get moving. I watch one do the entire workout then I break until my heartbeat and all of that goes down then I start up a different video. I really appreciate the time and dedication you put into making these videos without them I don't know where I'd find the motivation.
So I recently injured my knee and haven’t been able to workout, I still want to say thank you for your time and effort to post these videos! This challenge is exactly what I need to get me ready to go back to the gym. Thank you again 😁🤍
My butt is on FIRE!!!! Prior to finding this, I was doing a very popular series of glute workouts. They were good, but this is 1000 times better!!! Thank you for posting this!! You just earned another subscriber :)
Abby, thank you so much for hosting this challenge. Your videos are awesome, I'm doing targeted workouts (which I've never done) and they feel fun! I definitely kicked some furniture doing this one though 😂
I have already done this workout at least 5-6 times since it was posted. As promised, it really is the best glute targeting workout I have ever come across. I just love it so much! 😍❤️💕
This was the first video I found of you and I loved it so much I continued to work out with you for the last few months. Joining the made to move it challenge, I hadn't done this one in a while. HOLY COW! Working out to your other videos and learning to focus on the specific muscle groups gives me a completely different and better burn than before. Also adding ankle weights helps. With eating healthy and staying active I'm down 25 lbs! Thanks Abby for all you do!
As someone who has never worked out to get in shape, this was a great beginners exercise. I was able to get through it with minimal struggle while also feeling the burn. I have an old knee cap/meniscus (the muscle around the knee cap) injury, so the last circuit was a little challenging to get into a good position, but once I was there it was great
Did this after a 40 minute job and my legs and glutes are donneeeee!! don't think I've ever felt this much glute burn in my life Amazing Workout! Thanks Abby!
THIS VIDEO IS EVERYTHING!!! Never have I ever targeted my bum in this way. 1st time trying it I’m typing this as I’m out of breath and feeling my bum like jello you kno that feeling after doing a leg work out yes well my bum feels like that now!!!! So intense I’m mind blow how this was just 10 min!!! You must try this !!!
My glutes were SO SORE the morning after I did this, that I fell to my knees when I got out of bed! I took an Epson salt bath and all was well, but I was definitely limping a bit the rest of the day.
Just stumbled upon this video and I cannot WAIT to try this tomorrow (already did my glutes today). Hitting that subscribe button nao! Thank you for sharing this and also for reminding us that it’s okay to go slower and at our own pace. I feel like in the health/fitness community there’s this inherent rush for “gains” when if you pace yourself you’ll still get there, most likely happier too. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!! It makes me even more excited to do the work out when I know exactly what muscle I am targeting.
Thank you Abby 🙏🏼 This is one of the only exercise sets for glutes I have found online where I can actually feel the proper burn and the muscles working. You’re the best 💕
Hi Abby! Just want to say Thank you for keep putting out videos during this difficult time in our world. I love trying new workout from you, a little change/variation takes me out of a repeating loops of life while staying at home/curfew. thank you!
I used to do really heavy squats/ deadlifts/thrusts, I didn't think it was possible for anything like this to actually make my butt sore! I jogged afterward and could really feel the pump which never happens. ❤️
My body is soreeeeee but I have been absolutely loving this routine! Switching it up from my normal 1/2 hr of focused weight lifting definitely has my muscles feeling all types of ways. You are the best Abby!
I thought I had done all the bodyweight booty exercises in the world and I thought I was good at them. And then you came out with these!! Wtf!! You killed me!! Thank you xx also really enjoying the challenge, thank u for making it free x
gonna try this out today!! 3 rounds of the entire workout. first round: body weight only. second round: with resistance band above my knees. third round: with 5lb ankle weights. wish me luck 😭😭😭
I really liked this work out, but for some reason when we would be working our left or right sides, I felt it on the opposite side, like it was joint pain or anything severe , it was working my muscles, it was just burning on the wrong side lol
That’s not weird! The gluteus medius & minimus’ secondary function is hip stabilization so it’s not uncommon for you to feel one side while working the other. That’s just your muscles helping to balance 🤗
This is such a beginner friendly work out! Love your positive attitude and down to earth relatable character, I think I'm going to challenge myself to do it one last time. Thanks for this work out
My second day following this video and this is hands down the best at home glute work out. This is exactly what I was looking for! I don't even miss the abduction machine at the gym lol. My boyfriend said he already saw a difference in my body! I'm going to follow this video for a few weeks and see where it takes me, thank you a million for this routine
I was smiling by the end cause I actually really enjoy your workouts😌 not too tough that I have to quit at 15 sec on each move but I can make it through the whole workout. Thank you so much!!!
I have something called hip clicking syndrome so exercises that require me rotating my hip out like the standing hip hike are SUPER uncomfortable but the rest of the workout KILLED I loved it
