Why did they think we wanted the background music to be louder then the person speaking? That became very annoying and so I finally had to stop watching.
Whoever edits these videos needs to turn down the background music. I can barely hear what's being said. The video looks good, but it's unwatchable with this loud music. I'm out.
That is until version 2 comes out, a more personalized, more human robot automation experiance. Comes with synthetic spit and a life-like middle finger.
Obviously many of the pro robot people out there didn't think about that. Grease gets everywhere along with tiny food waste. Just wait until they start getting shut down for not being in compliance with city code.
One person can PM and maintain these robots. We are eliminating operators every day. We have huge automation lines that needed 7 operators to run. Adding an auto sleever eliminated 4 people from this one line. We have 4 of them. That's 12 people whose jobs were eliminated. One automation technician can maintain those 4 automation lines.
in many countries, getting workers to work in bakeries and restaurants is difficult. the worker turnover is very high because of long hours, hot environment and customer demand for quality and productivity. robots can work 24 hours, no wages, no medical leave, no unions and etc.
Remember to ask your congressman to add Robot' + AI taxes - they've taxed labor for hundreds of years, so it only makes sense to tax all robots, machines, and AI programs.
Thank You!! These errors were driving me up the wall. They're really exaggerating how none of these blunders would have occurred if the video were made by a bot
Great video! As covered in several videos on my food and restaurant stocks RU-vid channel, automation will be a huge catalyst for future gains in the restaurant industry! Thanks for sharing!
I hope everyone loved that, because that's your life in 2026. Some of these machines need to be perfected or redesigned, but they will make most of the fast food.
I would love, to watch all the way to the end of this 21:31 opus, but apparently, someone left the robot in charge of the AUDIO, therefore making this unfit for this HUMANOID to watch.
Sorry, it's just you and a few others. I find the background music absolutely appropriate. I would use it myself, it is pretty good. And with that you're probably that one rare guy who likely also doesn't like other works made for marathon listening enjoyment. While staring down millions who need something nice and repetitive to fill the silent void.
The background music is really annoying, too high, nice video though. The entrepreneurs will invest in them, cheaper, quicker, no need of days off, no insurance. It'll take a while, the humans will be always around but in a busy restaurant with one person that can manage 10 robots running back and forth.
I approve of this. Workers have no pride and the cite “not getting paid enough” as the reason why. That’s no excuse to suck at your job. There’s no reason why a McDonald’s hamburger should have two handfuls of onions on it. It doesn’t take a genius to consistently assemble a burger the way you were trained.
I'm all for an automated kitchen. However, all these inventions are essentially just industrial robots doing the work. Their capabilities have improved to handle more advanced tasks. At first glance, it seems very sophisticated, but a closer look reveals that there are only a few well-known techniques being used in the same way across all solutions. What I appreciate most is that bread is baked in the store as needed, which I interpret as reducing bread waste. Since the machine is large, it should be able to bake various types of bread, thus reducing the space needed for the bread section. It would be great if one could place an order for a unique type of bread before starting their shopping, so they can pick up their freshly baked bread when leaving the store. I understand why large displays are used for placing orders, but I wonder why not just as well do it via a mobile phone to avoid queues and reduce the risk of spreading infections.
Starship would be great in societies that have 90% or more law abiding citizens, but here in the cities of the USA, it is sad to see homeless, thugs, and just plain vanilla shitty people robbing and vandalizing these delivery robots.
@@foodverge often enough for people to filmed them on its side, vandalized, etc. Starship probably would not disclosed the data on what percentage of their deliveries failed for their robots getting robbed.
wikipedia says they have a 41 km range (25 miles) which means 41/2 = 20.5 km radius (12.7 miles). This kind of stuff is the future. Tipping for services like that is getting out of control, with that one guy complaining about someone daring to give him a very reasonable 20% tip, he got mad because she lived in a nice house and he thought he should be tipped more. ((roll eyes)) And really, jobs like that are beneath human dignity. We should be doing intellectual stuff. 🙂
Working in fast food those robots won't do so hot in cause fast food means SPPEDS not a snail peace! Robots may take over the human form, but the human can outrun a robot Easly
I hope all restaurants have those bots in their kitchens already. I say this because I see it as a tourist attraction as well. It's it wonderful to get a veggie burger by MacBot 😮😅
The video was fascinating, and I would have liked to have seen all of it, but that awful music in the background drowns out what the guy is saying! Was that music itself AI-generated??
@@Thingsyourollup They can have mine now. I’ve got have more than enough to retire now and still be considered in the top 1% for the next 30+ years. Plan early and invest early and you’ll never be concerned about losing your livelihood
I demand $20hr to flip burgers Machine goes brrr No wages No sick time Never late to work Works 24/7/365 No complaints Only some general maintenance required. No experience necessary jobs are now going away.
We all going to be what they call the “useless class” 😅 frankly i see more cons than pros ,not knocking the positive aspects of it ,but this going to create chaos,if you really think about it, robot are not consumers and also they don’t pay taxes and list goes on on . Private sectors don’t care as long as they maximize on profits.
It is possible that AI also becomes consumer. Theh could spend money to buy digital content for them to improve their content production. They can pay taxes. It is distopia but that capitalism might not need the human if some entities can be producer and consumer.
This is about 20% good and about 80% totally bad, let me explain... the purpose of the robots enrich human lives, by dealing with tedious tasks freeing up more time. You want to unemploy human workers, as a cost saving measure for Company by cutting the cost of paying for employees the plan is to pocket all the money, but the price of the menu items will not change. So the customer still being cheated... you unemployed a lot of ground level employees who take care of their families... increase the unemployment rate just to save your corporation. I urge every consumer to avoid establishments and companies who use these robots and these means do not go to these restaurants do not use these companies. This is not enriching anybody's life at all aside from the companies filling their pockets with more money, and again robots do as they're told, which could be bad or good.... I would really hesitate on this future. Where is consumers vote with our money, I know where I stand on this and I will not be purchasing anything from any of these companies or corporations, and as consumers I hope you pick human lives over corporations.
Looks like this is a promotional spot for rbi Industries. Watching this, I began to wonder how we ever ran the food industry without them. After all, humans can develop ai robotics, but flipping a burger or cooking a basket of fries is beyond our human capacity . Robotics may be the wave of the future, but should we be so condescending about it?
Yes!! Please turn the sound track down. I know you will get it right the next time. It’s 7:00am and o was teaching my daughter about the beauty of AI! I think AI would not have made the track so loud. lol.
It's great to see innovation at work, just be warned your job is next. Also, just a side note, if you are no longer paying an actual human to make the product then we should see a significant price decrease in the product.
HA HA If restaurants can not find good low skill staff, HOW in the heck are they going to find a Robot Technician to fix the robot during an evening rush. LOL LOL LOL PS Wait until they get the technicians labor bill for outside normal business hours or emergency calls. Oh yeah let me run down the robot supply store for the needed part. LOL
It could've been a really great video if hoy get rid of that stupid music in the background! This is a video where we need to listen to the commentary and the background music ruined it.
Too much hype but they don't tell you the maintenance of it and also who cleans it! I hope is clean? After awhile don't be surprised many of these companies will go belly up!
I LOVE THIS FORGET ABOUT WORKERS AT LEAST ROBOTS WONT SPIT IN YOUR FOOD OR GIVE YOU THE WRONG ORDER OR ARRIVE LATE OR IGNORE YOU IF THEY DONT LIKE YOU THE WORKERS CAN CRY ALL THEY WANT BUT I AM READY FOR THE ROBOTS
Well the days of walking on to a job without any experience or training are pretty limited.. Vocational training is almost a must (was 40 years ago IMO) This does not include the very few souls that are genuinely "Intelligent" They are few and far between.. Liberal arts majors? major fail.... BS in business with the acumen to do the work? solid success story... Taking on an unknown element at $25 and hour to find out they are useless? nope... (and that $15 an hour guy is going to cost you at least $25 an hour)
The fast restaurant job is hard because employees do a lot of routine work at the fast pace. However, These jobs skill are useless for them because they produce some practical values but little monetary values. So, the kind of jobs should be automated.
@@寺内宏之 I think these jobs are important to youth.. The skill they are working on that will follow them for life? work ethic.. show up, do your job, repeat.. I come from a restaurant / concessions family.. We had a number of eateries and the concessions at a large recreational facility.. We hired a lot of college kids during the summers to work as life guards, food prepares , clean up etc.. First rule? be on time.... You are late 3 times? you are done... We would get visits quite regularly by Govt officials doing backgrounds on ex employees wanting security clearances.. These "menial" tasks are important...
Working at more lower level jobs like, McDonalds helps build character in young people. Can help build a better work ethic - Even when it’s a job that may be more humbling - Which you carry those skills with you all over your life. No matter if it’s for future jobs or relationships, etc. These are jobs shouldn’t be automated, they are great first jobs and can help with interpersonal activities - Working with the public. It’s saddening that this is happening and robotics will “slowly” continue to take more and more complex jobs away.
PLS turn down your mind numbing repetitive background music. Also, the voiceover sounds like he is reading for a very wordy marketing material. Good information though😀
I could only make it to 6 min because the music was giving me a headache. Too bad. It was a real interesting topic given CA $20 /hr minwage for fast food workers.
