As a bedrock player I feel your pain. Most of the builds mc youtubers make only work on java. That piston block exchanger for example. It is extremely hard to pull off in bedrock because it uses sticky pistons with one tick delays, something all us bedrock players know doesn't work in bedrock since sticky pistons won't drop their blocks. The circuit needed to make a block exchanger work in bedrock is so bulky and block consuming that it's hardly worth building it in your builds on the first place. Bedrock also doesn't have BUDs connectivity so our redstone circuits have to all directly connect, since quasi connectivity is a no go. Bedrock also has harder wither and ender fights. In a lot of ways, Bedrock is an entirely different game.

Start simple. Make six hoppers, six chests, and two furnaces. Place a double chest with hoppers behind it going into the chest. Place the two furnaces on top of the hoppers. Place one hopper on top of each furnace and one hopper behind each furnace, then top your hoppers with double chests. Congratulations you just made an autofurnace. Fuel goes in back, item to smelt goes in top, bottom is your output.

Start small and work your way up. Some of my largest scale ideas started small. With sufficient understanding and experience, you can practically make anything from as simple as a button or lever to open and close doors, to as complex as a programmable computer. Complex stuff won't be immediate, but get practice when you can and work your way to there.

Imagine the whole population of the earth suddenly wakes up in a freshly generated minecraft world (with a way bigger spawn area, like 100000 blocks squared or even bigger) Strongholds can spawn anywhere, you can go up way higher, to about 10000 (ozone layer), only 128 in the nether, down too but you still die at around -65, the world is truly infinite, you cannot open the F3-Menu, everything else is just like standard vanilla but without the glitches (like breaking bedrock isn't possible anymore, getting through it isn't as well). Humans only have the minecraft needs (like you don't need to drink, pee, sleep [although you can and should, because phantoms],...). Reproduction works like normal. The after the initial spawning normal sized spawn area will be "magically" protected, so neither spawntraps nor -kills are possible. Survival mode, hard, no cheats, for everyone. Once you are 18 years old, you can leave the world at any time, but that will be like dying, you cannot go back. everyone younger needs the permission of all living parents. Normal death will give you an option to respawn at the world spawn or your respawn point, respawning at the world spawn will set your respawn point to the world spawn. Would you live in that world? What would you change? How will the first year be like? The first month, the first week, the first day (and night)? How many will "leave" in the first week? Edits (A Pregnancy worth of months later so my mindset may have shifted a bit and I don't remember everything I thought about): - Communication and Sounds is a good point. It would make sense that everyone has a voice that only people near you can hear, like the sounds of every entity that has sounds. In Minecraft, that means that you can also hear things through walls. Something like tellraw would be nice to simulate Chats via Internet... straight up Chat like in Vanilla or tellraw @a for everyone would be way too chaotic though, and how would this even work, like how would you open that Chat and write in it? Thus I don't know if I would even include that. Would be a modifikation which adds like a real life smartphone, probably TV, PC and so on too while at it. But normal sounds definitely. Another point then would be the language and the culture, at least to start off, because spawning in a minecraft world would be very different than another day in real life, it would evolve over time. Another thing that directly influences that is mods. Should this world be a normal minecraft world, with minor tweaks to simulate vanilla minecraft like the Smartphone for the chat, or would it have the whole thing, like Avaritia, Astral Sorcery, Tinker's Construct,...? The wrong mods would lead to a race to get the best stuff, and the winner(')s domination of everyone else (if I don't go away from the Mindset of changing Human Behavior as little as possible, because egoism) (changing Memory is fine though, because you would probably remember almost nothing if you were the player in a newly generated world). That's also why I chose "standard vanilla". - Infinite worlds (unlike the high limit of the Minecraft Worlds) is one of the Key parts I thought about - World size in general. If the exponential growth of the human population continues, a finite world would not be enough at some point, spacewise as well as ressourcewise. In real life it is possible to go to other planets in a what we think is an infinitly big but flat universe (thus the height restrictions). Everyone has to know it is infinite though. That already would lead to different lifestyles - Hermits, just keen on wandering through the endless world, Explorers who search for the perfect spot for their "Base", people who don't care about the space because they care more about other things like using the infinite time to find their soulmate. (Haven't written about aging past the age of 18, so I assume I thought about not dying permanently because of old age, making the decision of when you want to die permanently more meaningful. Important then would be that you have the ability to die whenever to eg not get stuck for infinity, and then you can choose whether to respawn or not. It would drastically change how we think about aging) Imagine we suddenly found a second earth, then a third, up to infinity, or we make more planets habitable. Our current system of world powers, most of our life is dependent on the fact that we currently only have this one earth. There will be proper world powers, just in another way, maybe one we cannot imagine because we are not in this situation. And even if not, there has to be a System we could come up with. There isn't any Money in Minecraft (Java) yet Hermitcraft has an economy and a culture of sharing and helping. There might be an initial phase of chaos though until something is established. - Blocks having the set size of 1m³ plays into the cultural aspect - Building Styles. I would be interested how this would evolve if no one can remember the current styles. - Lag isn't a thing
@im_tlnor
@im_tlnor 4 года назад
I would NOT live in that world. Mostly just because of the whole “world is infinite” thing. We wouldn’t be able to establish proper world powers, because there would be endless land. Now I would understand have a world that just plain bigger, due to Minecraft’s scale of 1 block is a cubic meter? I mean, the circumference around earths equator is 40 mil meters? And the Minecraft world extends from 30 to -30 mil meters, meaning it would have a circumference (if bound by “earthly” physics) of 60 mil meters, which I figure is more than enough. Would there be a way to use chat? Or would we be able to just speak?

Comparators basically do two things. First, they compare the signal strengths of the input from the back and the input from their side. The comparator gives an output based on which is greater. (there’s a lot of specifics on how they compare and subtract but I won’t get into that now.) Second, they take inputs from containers like chests and hoppers and give a certain signal strength based on that.

By chance have you thought about doing a truly 101 video explaining the basic circuits? To give examples you started showing 2 mono stable circuits. Many people dont understand the nomenclature when they first start out. Recommendations aside most excellent video! Learned something new about Transparent blocks!
