In Home E.C. in middle school, our teacher taught us to use English Muffins, they are really good and, I have always made them since! Another hit with kids is pizza burgers!

I buy the small naan breads for my teenaged boys to make personal pizzas. It makes it quick and easy for them to throw together a pizza and bake it in our toaster oven
I “paint” the insides of hard shells with sour cream using just a kitchen knife. You get some in every bite and it doesn’t squirt out in a blob. Easier and neater to eat. 🌺
I put the shredded cheese in first, at the bottom of the shell. This prevents the soggy bottom problem when putting the saucy meat in first, then the meat right on top of the cheese warms the cheese for more flavor, and you don’t have all the cheese falling off when you bite into the taco as you do when it’s on top 🌮🌮🌮

Your cookbook is amazing! We have made 12 of the recipes so far and all have been wonderful! I love the trick of steaming whole potatoes in the crock pot with a foil liner. So much easier then baking in the oven as it doesn't heat up the house and no clean up required. So many of your meals can be used inside potatoes as a second meal. We used your left over chicken taco as a potato stuffer, topped with sour cream and avocado. You could do a video on steamed potatoes with stuffers: French dip, beef with gravy, frozen vegies blend with cheese, pesto or marinara. I am thankful everyday for you! ❤

My wal mart has a marked down rack with all the bakery items that are almost to their sell by date. That's where we stock up on french bread and put it in freezer. They usually sell for 50 cents. The marketside muffins sell for $1 and freeze well . Does your store have this?

I am leaving for a long trip soon and haven’t shopped so that stuff doesn’t just go bad while I’m gone. I’ve also been super busy! So I was thrilled to find a recipe on here that I had ingredients for on hand (sort of). I made the sausage and potato skillet and it was great. I actually used canned green beans and shredded hash browns because that’s what I had but I loved it. I think I can do the pasta tonight and that’ll get me to my leaving day with good food. Not frozen junk or fast food. Thanks!

I purchased two small packages of frozen Meatballs the other day as I saw you cook with them and it looked delicious. I made a homemade Tomato Sauce so will have severalvyummy meal options this week.
On the French bread pizza, barbecue sauce with mozzarella, chicken, tomato, and green onions are so good! Love your recipes they are so simple and yummy

This video made me so hungry! Although my waistline doesn't like bread/rolls, the French dip and pizza look delicious! I'd have to agree that the creamy pasta would probably be my favorite, followed by the sausage/potato/green bean skillet. I'd definitely make those.

Hey Julia! One thing I'm focusing on in my young family years is how to be less wasteful with food. Have you ever thought of doing a video about how to turn left overs into other meals? Last winter I turned some left over spaghetti sauce into soup. Left over mac and cheese gets mixed in with chilli and beef to become a Skillet casserole. Left over bread becomes French toast Sammies ect. just a thought. I'd watch it.
I'm always so impressed by the quality of the content (and the amount of recipes!) you put out each week, you rock! I just made two recipes out of your cookbook this weekend and they were a huge hit! I did the chicken noodle casserole and the sausage and cauliflower casserole, we haven't found a recipe in your book yet that we haven't liked, they've all been winners! Tonight I'm doing the slow cooker BBQ chicken sandwiches from it, I pretty much just pull out your cookbook each week to do my meal planning, so thank you for making life a little easier (and tastier!)

You had me at the first recipe. My husband old love the roast beef. And ten minutes is great too. And we can make the pizzas too. My husband bought some pizza doughs and all the rest. So all we need is the bread. And I love a lot of sauce. He made a pizza, but there wasn’t enough sauce for me. But he also bought quite a few bags of cheese. I haven’t had smoked sausage in a while. But I like it. The spaghetti looks so good too. You can never have too much cheese for me. And tacos look great too. I think this has to be one of my favorites. Quick and easy. That’s the way I like to cook.
