Speed cooking is fun, but I think the more important point to take from this video is that you can just throw random foods together to make a delicious and nutritious meal. No recipes needed! Just veggies, calories, and flavour and you are rocking!
Omg!!!! Most enjoyable and fun video I have seen in a long time! Super entertaining and so happy I watched this. Transitioning to a plant based diet and love watching all of the dressing that you make!
What I love is your joy, it comes through in your videos! I am trying to lose weight and have been overweight since I was a teen. I am now 49 and man is it tough to get away from the carbs. I love watching your videos. Thanks!
We tried this dish two weeks ago and have made this already 6 times already. Really delicious recipe!! We have actually lost weight using this dish and without feeling hungry! Keep up the amazing work of helping others with these health ideas.
You guys are the best vegan duo on RU-vid! I love this kind of video and your vlogs the best. And your Q&As are good too. Thanks for the entertainment!
Watching this from Africa and it’s amazing how you have fresh everything instead of frozen..when am in your kitchen I feel at home! I can relate to all your recipes. Thanks for the sauce videos they are a life saver
We adore you both! Our little family all get together to watch and learn. Thank you! We just moved to Washington! It would be totally RAD to meet you both!!
derek 1 minute in: damn what a good idea, this will be a great easy video 5 minutes in: i should have planned ahead. hahah love this video, love 10 minute recipe videos, easy and delicious sauces that are versatile are the best!
You rock! I was worried you were going to cut yourself. The sauce is so important for rounding out the veggies. Thank you two for being so cheerful/inspiring.
Brilliant. Another excellent example of how easy it is to throw something quick, delicious and cruelty free on your plate. Love seeing you two together on camera, you look great together. Me and hubby are always admirers of cute couples, and love of course. 😁♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thanks for sharing both. Loved it. Xx
Simnett that was fun to watch. After 2 weeks of preparing meals that have been taking me 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours to make to see you do that in less than 11 minutes makes me feel better. Thanks.
Love how you just throw things together to make a meal! It’s the way I do things too. I’m getting back to plant foods after the holiday junk. Whew! I’m happy to eat those fruits and veggies again!
Hello, as I watch this video. Which was great. I noticed you had you onions and so e other vegetables in a draw. I place mine a the refrigerator. So i thought, can you an episode (if it works) of how you store all of your food or a video on food storage tied in with another video? I think it would be informative to subscribers like me that are turning to lean towards more of a plant based lifestyle. Thank you for all the great content.
Yeah, it is super different, but it hides a fuse box, and it was there when we moved in so we kept it, haha. Our rental suite used to be the downstairs of a large home before being converted.
Hey Derek and Crystal, you guys are awesome! I love sharing what you do with my nutrition classes! I teach anti-cancer way of life segments to patients hoping to inspire them to eat more plant based dishes and you make it easy, fun and so nutritious. And beautiful! Keep on cookin!!😊
Just made this.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. Took me 12 min. Put in 3 dates instead. It was so filling even though it takes half the plate. Had a larger salad. All in all a great meal. Keep the up the great work. Loving vegan life of almost 3 years.
ok -- made this stir fry today, as well as the sauce -- clocked in at 35 minutes!! BUT -- DELICIOUS is right!! Didn't even need the sauce (tasted the stir-fry without the sauce first), but I made the sauce and used it and WOW!! Keep these super fast (for you), ok-fast (for me!) recipes coming!
Omg literal footage of me throwing lunch /dinner together 3-4 days a week! Definitely going to try the sauce you made! I would also love to see more of these quick meal videos! Super love your channel ❤️
I liked the meal and the prep, and watching your videos has led to noticeable improvements in my own cooking. I have to admit that I like to use extra-virgin olive oil (a good one - I use Partanna) when I cook, but I discovered that the bottles olive oil producers use pour too freely and you can easily end up with 2-3 tablespoons (or more) of olive oil in the pan. I got a drizzler, and that helped a lot in throttling back the pour, so that I was cooking with 1-1.5 tablespoons of oil. Then I got an Evo oil sprayer, and that thing is a miracle. Each spray is 1/4 teaspoon, and I can completely cover my skillet's cooking surface with 4-6 sprays: 1-1.5 teaspoons. Plus when I make a salad, a couple of sprays completely coats the greens. I like it so much I got a second one: the 18-oz one for olive oil, the 6-oz one for toasted sesame oil. (Kodaya, since Ottogi is hard to find in Canada.) Also, I find the Chef's Planet Prep Taxi food scoop works better than a pastry knife because it has sidewalls.
So great video. It was so funny to watch you in action. This is totally me when I come back from work : I do a lot of meal in 10 minutes all home made of course. Great job Derek. I really enjoy this one. More of the video like that !

Looks super delicious! Great job Crystal in filming it and keeping Derek on track! You two are a great team and a great couple! Love watching your videos! Very entertaining and informative! Who knew learning could be so much fun!
