Trees have immense and enduring strength and offer much to the environment and to us, not only in a physiological and psychological way but also we must remember they are alive just like we are.
There are many examples of how a tree will know when it is about to be cut down. Some of us are able to really connect with the consciousness of a tree and it will come as no surprise that they are great wise beings.
Cultures all over the world have mythical stories of trees.
With their roots embedded deep into the soil and branches rising up towards the Sun, the tree is universally seen as the symbol of the connection between Earth and Heaven and folklore tells of tree species having different magical associations.
It also symbolizes the cycle of life, death, and rebirth over the Solar year by shedding its leaves in Autumn only to have new ones grow in the Spring.
