Watch 10 minutes of Austin Reaves shocking the world and the NBA. Hope you enjoy the video. Thank you for watching. NBA video clips used on this channel are licensed through partnership with NBA Playmakers.
I honestly didn't know Reeves had such an offensive arsenal. He can handle, he's got a midrange and longrange jumper, he has a floater, and he can slash to the rim. His footwork in the lane is superb too
@@cottonmather8146 nah I don't think his game is that depend on drawing fouls. He is a three level scorer with high level decision making. That's so rare in the NBA.Bron don't trust him for no reason.
@@rickyisme1230 Yes it does. The only reason the Lakers were winning games after Lebron got hurt was because Reaves started getting the Harden whistle for no reason. Lebron clearly didn't trust Reaves hard enough to start jacking up 3's against the Nuggets
@@zayroberts3480 bron in the 4th quarters of the nuggets series shot 30 percent from the field and 10’percent from 3. Man sold every 4th quarter he should’ve let reaves close games out if he ain’t got it.
@@661sInfamous we legit could have won that series the Miami heat would have been a free chip if bron didn’t turn into a brick layer and don’t get me started on Deangelo Russell he was the worst.
@@ozzee5094 If he ain’t have it that wouldn’t have got there ina first place.. That’s the thing he ain’t rlly tryn prove nun to people like y’all.. cuz he dominated the league And kinda still is now… aww look at u prayin for the downfall of a 38 year old that can still score 25-8-10 hurt.. U can’t sit here and tell me the nuggets squad didn’t have more chemistry and coaching wizardtry..
I remember watching him last year and thinking he was pretty solid and well under control for a rookie. But after this season it made me realize he has so much potential and is really good at making difficult shots. He also has a very nice handle.
Austin Reaves is one of the most dangerous basketball players because he is excellent in chemistry, unity of trust and intelligence. He makes his teammates stronger, more energetic and more confident. He is a biggest nightmare to his opponent coaches because he made his opponents get many fouls so they were forced to be benched. I am looking forward to his playing next year.
@@Qwertyuiop12789 Hard for lakers to win when the refs RIGGED the entire series in favor of the Nuggets. Lebron and the lakers got screwed badly. NBA wanted that European ratings so they RIGGED it so Jokic would win his first ring. Lebron would have won easily if it wasn't for the Refs.
He is so much fun to watch. Here's hoping he stays healthy, as he's only going to get better. He can already hit almost any kind of shot and make any kind of drive or pass.
Reavers is improving dramatically each year. He even has a few Curry-esque moves now. He is fun to watch. He wasn’t shooting his 3’s well in the first few games this year but seems to have worked that out.
Now, he is representing USA at FIBA. Being chosen means coaches recognizes his skill and talent. With that experience, he would further improve. He would legitimately become an all-star if he trends upward. Hell, he even got a shoe deal.
@@alidjaranabi8367 I already know that but everybody calls that championship fake for some weird ass reason even though it's valid Coz apparently everyone else lost coz they were busy "partying" 😂😂😂
Can shoot 3's, mid-range, play defense, handle the ball, can pass, can drive, get fouls, shoot freethrows.. All Above NBA player average and still getting better. True complete player. Watch out NBA.
YES!!! He is so well rounded as a player! So much respect for his hard work! He is a STAR!!! Watch out!!! He made me love the game!!!!! I saw his special gift since his rookie season! Only getting better! He can do it all! And such a good guy! Doesn't drink, party, he has been with his girl 9 years. It just says something about his character! Love him!
What sets him apart is his intelligence, with super high skill, and just enough athleticism to pull it together. At the 38 second mark - watch how he looks up at the clock to determine how much time he has all in the same motion of catching the ball and turning up court, only to release a perfectly timed half-court attempt that hit bottom. The key variable is the checked the clock and turned up court in one motion. AR - is NICE!
The fact he has a 10min highlight reel lets you know how good he is fr fr and that he coming up Random thought I'd love to see him and jordan poole on the same team wit the green light and good players willing to sacrifice for them two
Not a LeBron fan at all fool. LeBron has helped him gain some confidence and aggressiveness in his play. He never had that at Oklahoma. Never been a LeBron fan or ever will be.
Kid reminds so much of the 70’s/80’s. Fundamentally excellent, simple, efficient. In this era of “penetrate and look for the three” over and over again, it’s really refreshing to watch
@@andresdelportillo9917 nigga thought he was curry nobody compares towards Curry's shooting and Reaves didn't do all that good anyways couldn't even manage to drop 20+ at least but it's all good they haven't gotten a win last year and this year let's see 2023-2024 they ain't getting a finals win I know that for sure they even got lbj thinking about retirement or leaving lakers he been wanted to play with curry.
It's crazy this guy went undrafted. He has a good 3pt shot, a great ball handler with saucy moves, and a very good rim attacker (highest layup percentage in the league last season) AND also a clutch time player and a playoff performer. Also, that half spin fake he uses is an actual cheat code.
Actuality he was supposed to get drafted in 2nd round by the pistons, night before the draft the lakers called and told him that if he goes undrafted they got a two-way for him. He turned down the chance to get drafted, bet on himself and worked harder than anyone in the league. I got to watch most of his games (lakers) since he wore #31, this kid is constantly evolving his game while keeping a “Win over stat” mentality. He gonna be scary in cpl years
@mahmoudqassem6569 that's not how that story goes bud 😂. He always knew he wanted to be a Laker. Him and his agent both thought his opportunity and success would be maximized if he landed on the Lakers. He did have a chance to be drafted, but turned it down.
Can you imagine how crazy it is for Austin to be throwin lobs to Bron and AD? Kid was undrafted. Before that unheralded. Bad dude but probably couldn't have dreamed about this. So much work.
Cap Curry> LBJ Anyday especially after that 4-0 by the Nuggets ur a lbj fan so I understand why u will hate Curry's superiority that's all I see from people like u.
Really how did y'all get 4-0'd but beat the Warriors not even beat y'all barely got that win respectfully y'all lucky Curry teammates didn't step up or else y'all would have gotten beat how tf y'all let the heat get 1 win with barely having any all-stars 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lbj reaves or any player from the lakers you watch 1 of his highlights and compared it to all-time NBA players ok don't respond back ur delusional imma just laugh when u do 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@1trellblazin He probably does lols, we or at least I haven't heard much, but then again you don't really get to see that part. Wish players had to all wear mics during games :)
@@cottonmather8146He did. He said so in at least one interview, that he had talked to the lakers during the draft, and was told if he goes undrafted, they would want to sign him. He talked to the teams that called about drafting him and told them not to draft him, so he could sign with the Lakers. He took a risk, and is gonna get paid this offseason for it.
