Here's something I'd like to add that i've been studying in my game on my pc that can help you know you've cleared an a mission area of any kind when you're driving by it and can also help your frames by eliminating interactable objects and stuff from the game. When you're in an area with enemies and hackable objects in the area around them whether it's a secret area, a NCPD quest, main quest, side quest, gig it doesn't matter, *TAKE OUT* out every possible TV, light, radio, speaker, turret, land mine, cameras etc that can be destroyed via hacks/guns - all of this things TAX the game and the processor/HDD and thus you're FPS when you're simply driving by the area it has to spawn them even if you don't see them. Taking them out btw they do NOT respawn *EVER* so that clears an area of A. lights B. radios emitting sound etc are all access sound and lighting files and stuff to exist in the world, destroying them permanently will make it so the game literally never has to load any of that shit ever again if you come within range of the area. It also signifies to me that the area is cleared already and if I'm driving by and see a bunch of shit that lights up on my scanner I might detour just to check if ive been there or not... Also it seems that *EXPLOSIVES* on the ground are also subject to this, so destroy as many as you can find as well to get them out of the game's possible files it would need to queu up. This helps FPS in the general area significantly. Also looting everything and putting dead bodies in dumpsters and stuff helps clear even more from the game. There are some places where you will see like 6 tvs all on one post on the corner of a street or something, that's something emitting animated video AND sound from 6 sources. Shoot them. I WISH i could destroy some of the absolutely absurd number of vending machines in the game as well. It might seem crazy and maybe I am but with the game as buggy and unoptimized as it is, the less sources of data being accessed by the game - the better IMO. This gave me a lot of extra incentive to clear damn near everything lol, but then again i am HIGHLY obsessive compulsive and this will take a lot of extra time for sure to get everything in one area, so considered just getting what you can and what's in your way IMO :) Things that respawn are the non interactable objects like fences or street lights for example, but even i struggle to run this game on a fairly decent gaming PC so I like to get rid of what I can get rid of if im suffering from FPS drops (particularly happens in highly detailed areas like City Center for example)
@@DekkarJr I could see this being helpful for folks struggling with performance yeah. So much junk on the screen in combat.. I tried to run the game at 4K and failed miserably. But at 1080p it runs smoothly with all details maxed out..I’m already taking my sweet time with the game doing all the side shit and recording vids, this would ensure I never finish the game lmaooo
@@DPDanielPlays that's a good strategy IMO - it gives you time for patches and stuff to come out hopefully a lot this month HAPPY NEW YEAR :D, im playing it at 1440p with a 2080 super and an i7 9700k and 16gigs of ram, all 3 are over clocked and ive done tons to try and squeeze performance out this - tbh the worst offenders are ray tracing reflections and shadows, only the lighting is necessary and im running that on medium. BTW do you get stuttering when you interact with items in your menu? that's the worst FPS offender for me, ill get like a drop of 10 fps just dismantling shit and I can't figure it out. can't believe 8 years went into this game and the UI has SO many problems ... like at least get that right... and so many stats don't stack properly, it's like man, the amount of quality of life shit in the game as well vs other open world games like GTA - going all the way back to san andreas it had SO much more, fuckin barber shops, tat parlors, garages, customizable car etc and those games are previous gen. CDPR did this same thing with the witcher 3, super unorganized inventory and shit like that... the game is a masterpiece a year later after patches and expansions tho... it's such a shame that this industry trend of releasing unfinished open world games has affected this game - of ALL games, every gamer on earth was dreaming of how amazing it would be for 8 years.. its not that i dont think the game in its current state is worth 60 dollars - what it is not worth however was teh emotional build up for almost a decade on millions of people... :3
@@DekkarJr Ryzen 7 3700x and 1080ti here lol, so yeah 4K was a bust. But other than that everything is smooth at 1080p, only get a tiny stutter when I use consumes, that’s it. Yeah the amount of junk you have to deal with in the inventory and the interface overall is absurd. I’m still getting $60 worth of fun out of the game for sure, but I expected more from CDPR...much more 😒
@@DPDanielPlays yeah - to think there's a time where the 1080ti would be basically obselete @_@ it's coming! i just ordered a rtx 3080 and a i9- 10 core with 20 threads lol @_@ ray tracing is amazing man you should def upgrade if youve got the scratch ( i never spend money on anything so I'm determined to spend a lot before the Dollar crashes cus of all the money they are printing to get through this pandemic lol @_@ ) so yeah i treated myself. :)
#1 biggest mistake: not putting food in the cat bowl outside your hotel. Does it help you? No. Do you get a pet cat, and actually get to kind of pet a kitty one time? YES
@@DPDanielPlays I used to fast travel between V's appartment and the current location I was about to continue just to empty out my stuff to my stash until I realized that you can use your vehicle to store items. Didn't really feel like driving from the badlands to V's appartment and back just to empty out :D Nowadays I'm mostly driving or running unless I'm feeling really lazy.
I sometimes use fast travel, but usually only when i want to go to V's apartment or to a vendor. Otherwise i just drive around, also one thing i think the game is missing is bus not only for you to fast travel but also to just sit on it while the bus drive you at places. This could also have the benefit of diminishing the fast travel spots with specific locations where the bus stop, one point for district would be enough.
One of the biggest thing you forgot was getting the Double Jump Upgrade. reaching heights where enemies can't get you or just cutting across an area to get to your destiny in seconds is just great.
From what I've seen, most people actually have the double jump upgrade - I guess that would fall under the Cyberware category I mentioned in the video. Most ppl seem to enjoy the double jump more than the Fortified Ankles, but hey if you choose to go with the latter, that's up to you! ^^
@@DPDanielPlays I found pants that have drop resistance attached to it so I just upgraded it to a good enough level. It have saved me plenty...except from dying off a curb or rail while jumping over it 😭
One mistake many players do is listening these youtubers telling how to play games "correctly". Your way is not the only and the best way, that's the beauty of this kind of games.
Lol touché 🙏 can’t agree with you more though, the point I was trying to make was regardless which playstyle you choose, make sure your perks and cyberware compliment that playstyle. But to each their own 👌
Yeah I don’t use consumables cause I haven’t found the need for them. The game is easy enough without them. The carrying capacity is nice, but I haven’t even used healing items barely cause I have skills that regen my health. Good skills completely overwrites consumables.
Seriously. Most this video is about how to use a certain play style. I do stealth only using hacking to take out cameras and such and almost never even pull my gun. Occasionally I'll use a whistle to separate people, but that is literally it. Then fire immunity isn't even needed if you go guns blazing, just a Tech weapon and ability to see who is hacking you.
Some people play this game as a FPS or worse, as a GTA. The RU-vidr is just saying how to use the tools the game gave to the player but is up to you to use them. I even read a rant where a guy was complaining about gun leveling in a RPG.
So my build is 20 body/20 reflex / 20 tech/ 8 cool. And I use militech mk5 berserk so I can't quick hack if I wanted to. And i never needed mass vulnerability. My pistol does .4 - .5 mill and my sniper hits for 1.4 mill. It's all about preference. Easier way to deal with fire dmg buy the cyberware upgrade from the Aldecaldo's ripperdoc.
@@rasenshuriken7325 ive not met many berserkers and its the one thing ive not tested myself, how do you find it? whats the biggest drawback in your experience?
@@rundmv6534 So other than sacrificing your quick hack abilities I love it. My armor sits around 2930 and health about 932. When I pop it my health is easy 1040-1050. The mods I use in my berserker give me more crit chance and crit dmg. It's a literal walking tank lol. Also with out consumables my carry capacity is 672 with no mods.
"I don't know if they are purposefully making the game more difficult for themselves" Well, in a game where you can one shot pretty much every enemy with a dildo, that's a very real possibility.
@@DPDanielPlays u just found that dildo 2 days ago while saying u spent hours in the game shows how wrong uve been playing the game. u basically will meet meredith during act 1 of the game if u use the correct sequence
For fire damage from overheat, there is also a cyberware called heat converter that makes it so when you are burned, instead of recieving damage, you gain 10% damage against enemies.
I use the shock cyberware then on clothes I have burning and poison mods. I just need to slot an anti bleed one now and then I'm pretty much untouchable. My own nades do nothing to me as well. Can throw them about with complete abandon.
I’ve been playing the game over 50 hours and I just want to say: everything this guy is saying about the intelligence and quickhacks are useful IF you’re trying to make a net runner, but it’s not necessary to use quickhacks or to spend your points in Intelligence . I have a build with 3 in Intelligence and centered around guns, I have a sniper with 3 million crit damage... play as you wish, do your build as you want
I can defenetly agree on that, I dont enjoy playing with quickhacks, I prefer to play on 3 intelligence and with a sandevistan operating system, using the Katana and other weapons with intense gameplay, but if you prefer sitting 200m away from your enemy and oneshotting them with either short circuit or a sniper headshot, that's totally fine as well. Everybody has their own playstyle and the best thing about Cyberpunk is that there are soooo many different viable builds. I have done like 10 playthroughs now and so far I tried, monowire stealth, poison netrunner (stopped playing it at about 5 hours bc it got boring for me), katana + sniper stealth, katana + jhonny revolver close range combat, katana + smart shotgun + cold blood high speed and right now I'm trying to play another build with the smart shotgun with even more speed, combining the perks from the shotgun tree for speed while holding a shotgun, the perks from the cold blood tree for more duration and stacking on the on-kill movement speed boost and tons of zero drag mods on clothes XD
And I would say it just isn't useful with sandevistan or beserk OSes as you can't breach anyway. Yeah, my first run was netrunner, my second run is not (sandevistan monowire melee).
Another way is to run away far enough that it respawn on the next approach. I do this on my original monolith xbox one gameplay, but I do reload on pc bcos it seems faster that way.
It don’t take long on my PS4 yeah it isn’t as good as pc but I think it still is fun I watch my friends play it on pc and am thinking of getting me a pc
For those with the option (PC people), from my experience with Witcher 3, load time is CPU bound. The save file is pretty small so it's not disk. I think it's just processing the save file and putting all those items and consumables in the data structure.
Dani-boy, your video applies mostly to players with a netrunner build. I never worried about the enemy netrunner who was trying to set me on fire, because as a melee build I cut it down before it could finish...
Yeah true, but looking at statistics, only 4% of players actually got this one, so I guess I'm talking to the rest of 96% people who dont really care about that achievement :D
@@dehdesh doing achievements or not doing them is not really the right or the wrong way of playing the game. It’s an optional thing for completionists to do 😏
@@dehdesh Why would i buy all the junk in the world? Honestly i jus buy two Vehicles one that i really like and a crappy mini van that el captain was trying to pass on me and i bought it just for the fun... I gave priority to implants and looks (armor) I'm always looking for clothing that match my V style, and this is actually fun to do, also one thing to note here... If you go for the highest stats for armor, you will dress like a clown, but theres an option that wasn't mentioned here... You can upgrade your clothes, so if you really like a certain look, you can upgrade to be useful indefinitely.
Quickhacks are great, but it all comes down to your playstyle, every option is designed to work. I was very apprehensive about swapping out my deck for the Sandevistan, but I learned very quickly that three well placed bullets and a silencer can do everything three quickhacks can do within 16 seconds.
I understand what you're saying about using the consumables, but as someone who has completed the game 6 times now, I can assure you that even on "very hard" you can become overpowered by level 15 without them
@@DPDanielPlays oh I definitely used them in the witcher 3. But I'm playing that on death march so you gotta use em then. Still one of the most fun games even after 200 hours.

@Olaf Sigurson I respect that! If you are playing a roleplaying game, and you can't create your own character, you have every right to dislike the character you are supposed to be :)
1. Buying all the cars and motorcycles unlockes an achievement. After clearing the map and doing all side missions and leaving just the final mission I still had a little over 900,000 eddies and I bought all apartments as well. 2 There is a burn immunity cyber ware called fireproof coating you can buy and equip if fits in your integumentary system 3. Another cyber ware is titanium bones it fits in your skeleton it increases your carrying capacity
I love driving around Night City. One thing I wish they'd do is somehow improve the first person view of the cars. I almost prefer the motorcycles because I can, for the most part, actually see where I'm going.
Since they patched it early on I haven't had a problem with driving at all. Drifting the avenger around city blocks is smooth, and doesnt lose momentum so I can connect another and actually "drift" not powerslide lmao Kinda feels like they made it more mafia style and got away from mad max, but with really heavy cars instead of cars from the 1930s. Could be smoother like mafia, tho
I jump in one of my vehicles and just drive around listening to the radio and farming "assault in progress". In one play though i had 1 million eddies and 20 street cred before going to talk to dex for the first time.
Nice, I did the same thing for each of the 3 lifepaths and saved it so I can always start up a "new game +" at level 50 with a stack of eddies in the bank as well. Takes a bit to get set up that way, but totally worth it imo to start the game off on the right foot each time.
Just started with the next gen update and I did the same thing...I just genuinely enjoy this game way more then I thought I would and glad they gave it the support it needed
*1. Mass Vulnerability:* Unnecessary as you can geek most Enemys with stealth/sneaking from behind. It is good to have, but not as practical as normally you do not go i fighting that much directly. Ping-Marking is much more essential as first going round and get proper Quality-Quickhacks as they drop not anymore from Nodes - at least if you do not get off on thoose Sandys. But, with them, you do not need MV at all. Camo and Sandy allow to geek 3 People from behind and retreat in one go. *2. Burn-Problems (by Hacks):* When getting hacked, look in Cyberspace - you see a line towards you. That line is from where the Netrunner attacks and shows the Camera it comes from. Destroy it or shut it off - hack cancelled. Also, when not goning in stupidly with "Mass Vulnerability and gogogo!" you will not get burned so much. This leaves the Netrunners directly hacking you - have a Tech Sniper for that (and maybe the Perk highlighting him (even though this beeing uneccesary as you have marked all beforehand, haven't ya?) and shoot the Guy the yellow string goes to. Thats the Guy. *3. Buying Cars/Bikes:* Disagree. Get some decent Drive asap - only Cyberware has priority. But buying Clothes and Guns? *That* is a huge waste of Money (if not for Style Reasons). Most will get Tech to a level they can take the "Rare Items" Crafting-Perk anyway - get some rare Blueprints for the basic Weaponry you want to/are able to sport. *4. Consumables:* Why? You disassemble instead of selling in the first place - like "DO NOT SELL WEAPONS!". Disassembling grants - aside the Components - XP. Perk Points. also, Crafting does reward XP as well as a Weapon fiting for your Level instead of one below or above. And for the most Scenarios, that 20%HP or 2 RAM make no difference at all - only some Special Scenarios you find thoose useful as they make a difference. Also, they may be useful in the Beginning a lot (this is where the special Scenarios occur most), but then you are short on thoose Boosters and Money - rather invest in Cyber than that or train some. *5. Reload for rerolls:* Well, you could also just scrap the drop and edit a new one - similar legit. Same goes for crafting-reloads. But, that is up to you - legit if you want, even though somewhat too tedious to do for me aside the ablolute Endgame-Gear. *6. Quickhacks:* Not anymore, Chummers. Not anymore. *7. Yeah.... right. You should. But.... Who does that? *8. and 9.:* Yeah, 9 because of 8. "Random Loot" and many good Weaponry - and even Legendary Crafting specs. Basic Gameplay. [Edit:] BTW: Do not get Double Jump. Get the Powerjump. Seriously. and do not get the "Hovering"-Purple Shit.
Fair point! Yeah as I mentioned in the video, I’m not gonna tell you how the play the game. It’s kinda neat how the game allows you to play the game the way YOU want to, and it may different significantly from another player playing the same game. To each their own! 🙌
I agree completely, by level 20 EVEN if you have spread your perks out to things other then pure damage, your a death dealing Hulk of a solo, able to take out pretty much anything (some exceptions apply) even on the hardest difficulty. This game is incredibly easy. My second play through I've kept my body at 3 and refuse to equip anything over common, just to make everything intentionally harder on myself. Sure at early stages it was difficult (finally) but alas, didn't last long..
@@coryvandamme3590 Yeah the difficulty scales are way off, that’s for damn sure. But I do enjoy mixing things up and it makes the game more enjoyable that way too. You quickhack to death one gang and beat to death another gang with your fists. Fun times!
Broooo no way! How did I not think of this? I was literally raging out in my last RU-vid stream, cause I ran out of buffs in the middle of a mission and couldn’t use them from my inventory. I’m definitely trying tour method next time I’m playing!
30 hours into 2nd playthrough, never made any of these mistakes 😆 I second the notion of not using fast travel, Night City is full of sights, sounds and of course loot you'll miss if u fast travel everywhere, nice vid, thumbs up! And I'd add one quick one: immediately floor the accelerator in any car you drive, slam the handbrake on at the last possible second round corners, spin out of control, crash, and then complain that the driving sucks in CP77 😉
another tip if you want to be a stealth netrunner don't have these legendary quick hack equipped Synapse Burnout, Sonic Shock and Cripple Movement there passives send enemy's in to alert even if you do a simple ping.
Ive played more that 18 full playthroughs, since release day 1. You can now pick up a higher rated weapon by equio[pping it from teh ground, it is harder to use, but can be equipped without reroll.
I find the "Capacity Booster" to be the most effective. Looting tons of weapons from enemies and later store all the loot in V's stash for crafting and selling it. Lot's of eddies to be made!
Been doing a Nomad Solo run with a Sandevistan cyberdeck, so no hacking of any kind. It definitely forces you to explore and come up with other ways of dealing with situations that hacking makes it way too easy. Next run is a Street Kid Netrunner, where it's JUST hacking, and maybe one weapon.
"Mistake 9 - You are only using fast travel" I never use fast travel. I only every walk or drive everywhere. "Mistake 3 - Wasting money on vehicles" I bought one vehicle for $13,000 simply because the job icon was clogging up my map and it was irritating me. :P
Lmaoo, that’s funny! I mean there’s so much shit on the map, I wish I could permanently remove half of the icons. But yeah I only use fast travel when recording a video and showing people how to get to a specific items location faster 🤷♂️
I bought them ALL for the same reason lmao - i am obsessive compulsive as fuck, THEY ALL HAD TO GO - and I wish i didn't have to buy them cus most of them are TERRIBLE, I almost exclusively use the kusanagi bike and the istumade bike, i hate most of the cars, even with handling mods they are just too wide on the road, and I need to be able to GO inbetween traffic and shit .
Quick hacks are for chooms. Legendary Slowmo Cyberware + Cold Blood + Katana and you can literally clear an entire mission before a single enemy can draw their weapon.
I think Datamine Virtuoso can be buggy for folks. I have 20 in Int, have 2/2 of Virtuoso - hack access points every chance I get. I've made 100k+ in Euros from access points and haven't gotten one quickhack.
Ugh I really need to get my char to lvl 28 to actually personally test this one. In theory this should work, and there are plenty of videos out there showing that it does, but as lvl 21 myself still can't test the legendary portion of this theory. I'll get on it and report back what I find!
@@DPDanielPlays The thing is it may work for you. It clearly works for others. It just doesn't work for me. I'm level 38, Street Cred 50, 20 Int, 2/2 Virtuoso... I hack access points all the time. I've never gotten one quick hack out of it. I want to clarify what I'm saying... I'm not saying I'm not getting legendary quickhacks... I'm saying I'm not getting ANY quickhacks at all from access points. Pretty sure that's a bug. There are folks on reddit who are reporting the same. I wonder if I rolled a new character if it would work. Or if I unequipped all my cybernetics. I got a feeling its some sort of combo of cybernetics that's bugging me out.
This do the Hellman questline and you get a motorcycle or if you have Delamane Bring Jackies body to Mama Wells you get his bike after the Heros quest. Even then the best cars you get for free (at least one since 1.6 somewhere in the Badlands.) Save the Eurodollars and invest into good cyberware. (If you do certan builds it gets expensive)
Arch Nazaré is my go to vehicle in the entire game :) For speed and convenience, so I def agree. But if only the cars had better handling, they look soooo cool. Or if I managed to figure out the car flying mod!!
I use Jackie's bike until I can afford the Kusanagi which is my favorite (and for some reason it seems to drive better off-road too, better than Scorpion's bike). Yea the cars are cool but so inconvenient. The hover mod feels a bit too convenient though.
@@DPDanielPlays "Do-able" sure - I prefer Scorpion's bike myself, since it coasts well even if the top speed is not as great as an Arch. However, it's still not even as much fun as riding a horse in the Witcher, and that was pretty ordinary.
I love running the Suicide quick hack, it cost between 12 - 20 ram depending on the opponent, but if u put enough work into the quick hack part of the game you can make the cool down 10 seconds. It’s the funniest thing ever to watch an entire crowed of opponents drop there guns and shoot them selves
Tip 11: don't take the perk that automaticly scraps trash items. Some of them sell for 750€. Scrap all your 3€ trash items. Also Scrap Grey items worth less than 50€ Green items less than 75€ Blue items less than 150€ Purple items less than 250€ This should give you enough crafting material for all your upgrade needs. Also scrap all your alcohol bottles and/or soda cans

1) No reason not to start every combat with mass vulnerability - Well, if you are using a berserk operating system - you literally cannot! (Also applies to number 6) - Even though I knew about everything in the video, doesn't mean I continue to use them - I only ever resorted to using items for instance when things got too hard in the Beat the Brat fights (I was trying to win with a 8 strength build..~) Number 11 could have probably been "Clean up the crime scenes - you get free sneak experience by just tossing downed enemies into garbage containers"
Other than #7 and #8, none of this stuff matters. You can cheese this game on very hard with so many builds. All you need is a QianT MK4 sandevistan + heatsinks. I'm not even done my first playthrough and I cheese any mission with minimal effort. Go the extra mile and get a legendary optical camo and you don't even need anything else. Clear an entire area by running right up to people and blasting them with a revolver in sandy while invisible. That's not even an OP build. Qiant Mk4 + Byako is completely broken. You're nigh invincible as you lunge 20 feet from target to target one shotting every enemy.
The coolest easter egg I've found so far just puttering around is out in the Biotechnica greenhouses, where you find Furiosa, the wives, and Max (all dead, unhappy face) and a version of the War Rig (undriveable). Just head out through the greenhouses from Pacifica along the ridiculously long straight stretch (has a decent jump at the end too).
There is an Ironman easter egg! A cave that looks like it was demolished and burned and a datapad talking about a prisoner who had to build an exosceleton to escape ^^
Number 8 is such a true bro, I've seen so many video seen by so many people how to boost your street cred and I had lvl50 street cred before lvl30 without these trick just by doing NCPD cases 😏
hahah yeah me too - except that I got an insane amount of money from the money glitch first and bought all the cars and they gave me so much street cred lol.
@@DekkarJr lol I’m still shocked they haven’t fixed this glitch..it’s all over the internet, seems like an easy fix 🤷♂️ not complaining though, used it to get millions of eddies myself lol
Re mistake 2, you don’t go back in time 24 hours, you’re going forward (waiting) 24 hours. Pressing back from 1 hour to 24 hours is just a shortcut to get to max waiting time.
The menus for consumables is a mess. Nothing is grouped based on similar funcionality. Can't separate healing items from alcohol specifically, or specific types of healing items. If they let us mark things as disposable or saved from being accidentally dismantled or sold, it would help tremendously.
I agree 100%!! Wish we had like consumable slots in the UI and different sorting options. But I found that if I sort consumes by quality, the 4 I mention in the video end up the first 4 in the menu...the rest of consumes are useless and waste of space 😕
Point one ; my first playthrough I used quickhacking , it's just to clumsy and time consuming , much happier playing using no hacking at all . Point four ; yeah guilty . Point five ;not worth time to save scum for a weapon you'll use a small time without re crafting . Point six ; naw , even worse than one , unless doing an int playthrough. Points 8 through ten are good advice
I think the problem with consumables and the reason for people not using them is probably the 1000000 consumable items you'll find during the game which rightfully belong in the junk inventory. Why is food and drink in the game? Surely it can't be worth using? Especially since you can't use it in combat. And alcohol is totally useless.
@@DPDanielPlays It's my biggest issue with MANY games. Why do it? Just to troll the player? Nioh for example is great but why do we need to find and sell thousands of garbage items? And when you craft in that game it's randomised so you even MAKE garbage items. At least in Cyberpunk crafting works a bit better and is more predictable to an extent (and you can re-roll).
The carrying capacity can be a real hindrance in the late game when you have lots of legendary weapons fully modded out since each mod adds 5 weight. It adds up fast!
It's doable. Especially if you can summon a car at almost any point that can carry your unlimited inventory. I have 5 legendary weapons, fully modded on me. The rest is all in my side inventory. When I need, I can switch. But it allows me to keep on picking up >blue quality equipment I can sell, during missions, gigs or etc. Take the time.
Personal opinion but I don't see it as a mistake if you don't save/load to min-max all your legendary items. I like the randomness the game presents and then just make do with what I got. Same goes for crafting. As for consumables, you are most certainly right. They're something I try to use more often but simply forget to do so. It's kinda like potions in Skyrim, extremely useful and powerful but still I keep forgetting to use them :D
Yep, a few folks already mentioned that, I should have mentioned that that point didnt apply to Sandevistan and Berserker Operating Systems, my bad! ^^
Most of this is outdated. You no longer get the rayburn: caliban car after doing panams quest (it used to be in a crate in a tunnel where you help her kill nash) it's was removed as CDPR wanted us to buy it. Quick hacks sucks (and always have in my opinion) I use full blown melee with gorilla fists and slow time on being spotted it's smashes everything and stunlocks. I wipe mobs faster than you can breach and use overload. Consumables just ain't worth the time, the combat is way to easy even on hardest setting (once you have some perks) using consumables for minor buffs is a waste. Pretty much the whole list is wrong the only thing I agree with is the fast travel. Players should run for 60 seconds to where they need be and if no call or message is received then ethier A) you have no quest pending B) the game is bugged C) you need to wait 12 - 24 In game hours An example is pamam riders of the storm quest,if you belive every guide online it's supose to trigger right after the "life during wartime" quest but what you actually need to do is run around for 30-60 seconds till takemara calls as his call takes priority and if you fast travel or skip time before you take his call you will bug her quest "riders on the storm" and you'll never receive it, after his call wait 12 hours and run around for 30 seconds you'll get the call. Truth is you should play the way you want there is no "mistakes" you enjoy what you enjoy, in this case you like eating and quick hacking.... I like self regen time slows and punching people in the face with robot arms. You'll be better in some situations, I'll be better in others.
You can deal with your overheat problem with just the body12 or cool15 subdermal cyberware from the ripper in kabuki market. The body12 cyberware makes you immune while the cool15 cyberware converts the burn debuff into a dmg boost lol. Save that armor slot for an armadillo
Yep, you can, to each their own! I rather sacrifice 1/20 armor mod slot, than 1/3 cyberware slot I can use for something more powerful than just a bit more armor. But to each their own! :)
mistake 11 should've been using your cyberware to explore. you essentially bypass correct quest paths and are not going to find anything special unless you're pushing into an area that is meant for later in first place... FE: V's condo.
I find it quite... weird to say you don't want to tell others how to play when you literally before that told ppl to go Int 12. For Quickhacks a Sandevistan user will never be even able to equip. Several "mistakes" listed aren't mistakes either, like the NCPD-hustle stuff. Yeah, it gives you street cred, but just normally playing though the game does progress ypu fast enough. Similarly, as my Net runner was basically in no real need for cyberwear, i got every car in the game and never had issues with money except for getting enough for the next car, so i don't get why a glitch should be the only way to make it affordable? I mean, prioritizing upgrades is fine, I'd not have anything against that, but the point was to just stop buying cars, which basically eliminates a nice collectable element from the game.
1.5 play throughs... seems like you lack experience. I've got.... we'll say 500+ hrs, 5 completed play through, platinum on ps4 (in first 3 months of release). Change title for that 1% who actually use cyberdecks. Trust me try reflex /craft sandy builds. So fun.
Bro this is a 2 year old video :D Of course when you watch it 2 years later, in retrospect a lot of things will be different. But still even today some people find it helpful, which was the whole point of it.
Nicely done. I''m on my 4th play thru and this time I'm going full street kid net runner. It's kinda hard at the lower levels, but you were right, I pretty much neglected quickhacks my first time thru and am regretting it now. I was able to take out nearly all the baddies at clouds when going for Woodman with only breach and quickhacks, and from a camera remote takeover. Took like 3 hacks to kill most, I'm only lvl 13 atm, but It was AWESOME seeing them drop without knowing where the Hell I was. Gotta love Contagion!
Here's something I'd like to add that i've been studying in my game on my pc that can help you know you've cleared an a mission area of any kind when you're driving by it and can also help your frames by eliminating interactable objects and stuff from the game. When you're in an area with enemies and hackable objects in the area around them whether it's a secret area, a NCPD quest, main quest, side quest, gig it doesn't matter, TAKE OUT out every possible TV, light, radio, speaker, turret, land mine, cameras etc that can be destroyed via hacks/guns - all of this things TAX the game and the processor/HDD and thus you're FPS when you're simply driving by the area it has to spawn them even if you don't see them. Taking them out btw they do NOT respawn EVER so that clears an area of A. lights B. radios emitting sound etc are all access sound and lighting files and stuff to exist in the world, destroying them permanently will make it so the game literally never has to load any of that shit ever again if you come within range of the area. It also signifies to me that the area is cleared already and if I'm driving by and see a bunch of shit that lights up on my scanner I might detour just to check if ive been there or not... Also it seems that EXPLOSIVES on the ground are also subject to this, so destroy as many as you can find as well to get them out of the game's possible files it would need to queu up.
Just play the game at a lower resolution, my monitor is 1080p ultrawide and I get like 38FPS on medium graphics with SSR set to low, and I get like 40-45 on the lowest graphics but I have a projector and I was playing cyberpunk and it’s only 720p so I was getting like 40 FPS in the highest graphics and 60FPS on low and medium (probably way more but my projector is only 60Hz)
I've seen quite a few of these videos and one item on the list that appears on all of them that I came to do pretty naturally on my own, is - not using fast travel. I have almost 200 hrs in the game and used the FT only a handful of times. I just enjoy driving around NC way too much :D
Another thing i would add, it was a pain looking for drop points to sell the guns i acquired from hitting gangs. So i sussed, to save time, calling up my vehicle and putting them in the boot. Later on I would just call the car again, park up at a Drop Point and get some Eddies
Thanks Choomba, play CP around 300h but i did not know about the Shock DGM for weapons criticals with this quickhack. I really like how Nightcity is now with patch 1.6. This game is truly immersive, not many other open worlds are near it. Nightcity is just stunning nice. (i explore it a lot and find some neat secrets and hidden easter eggs) Kudos
Good video. I'd guess people don't use consumables because the game is so damn easy without them. But if you install one of the mods that increases difficulty, you'll be sucking on MaxDoc inhalers like candy. I do like the strength boosters for carrying extra loot.
1) No, they're not trying to make the game harder. I think that players get so wrapped up in the run-and-gun play style that they don't want to stop and play a minigame before slaughtering everyone. 2) This is a great tip because I took a Perk to do this and I'd much rather use a Mod slot. 3) I'd be more willing to buy the cars if we had a garage to store them where we could see them all. 4) Guilty. My first few hours, I made sure I had something to eat and drink before a fight but that fell off. I keep one of the capacity boosters on me just in case but I break down/sell the rest. 5) You're absolutely right about this but after save-scumming the first few Legendary slots it gets old. 6) You're absolutely right. I don't know how other people play but I hit access points like a junkie getting a fix. 7) Again, you're right. The last boss fight is MUCH easier if you're able to jump through the different levels of the floor. 8) I wasn't aware that these were SO important toward Street Cred. 9) Never...I mean NEVER fast travel in this game. I make piles of xp and money, not to mention the immersion. 10) Fixed the sub JUST because you mention it! Seriously though...the devs hid PILES of stuff all over the map. Much of it is just for old farts like me who played the OG game. A very good video!
I can kill enemy in just 2 tap. crit chance, crit damage, and burn will make you easily wipe them without using breach the only my problem is hacking with does numbers? im really weak of that situation. But no big deal. And 50% capacity is useful too
everytime you choose a number, the "line" changes, between horizontal or vertical, being the number you choose the "axis" of that rotation. So you just have to foresee your sequence (according to the daemon you want to upload) in advance.
The main issue is lack of balance or maybe they balanced it so anyone can wreck with any build or lack of a build. You can 1 shot everything on very hard so there isn't really a reason for consumes or hacking enemies. We need like a survival mode or somthing that makes these things a requirement. I re-roll legendaries for mod slots, I don't re-roll epics as they're dropping way too often at high levels.
I mean to be fair it still helps, and depending on your playstyle and a build, 20% hp is not insignificant. And I mentioned in one of the comments below, 50% more capacity is useful to anyone, regardless of their build. But I agree with you that the balance in this game is totally out of whack. I would love a survival mode!
Fireproof coating, its a integumentary system piece, I found a rare quality and have not found any others, unfortunately I can't remember which ripper doc I got it from
I didn’t know I could re-roll the epic stats. I should have figured it out when I made some legendary Silverhand shoes with no item slots. Did no one else max intel and tech? I can quick hack an entire building in about a minute or two.
Your tips demonstrate actual time spent playing the game, not using kids to pretend build characters like other channels. Subbed for the genuine dedication.
A few of these were actually really nice to know, alredy knew most, but at least I now that consumables are so useful. The only 2 mistakes I can't agree on are not using quickhacks and not having datamine virtuoso. Like 90% of the item builds don't use cyberdecks or intellegence on a high level. If you don't play the Stealth Quickhack build you won't have them. In most builds you will use Sandevistan and 18 or 20 in Reflexes and Tech and then either 18-20 in Body or Cool and 8-14 on the other. Intelligence will stay on 3 most of the time. I don't know why so many people who make Cyberpunk videos assume that you have quickhacks, because quickshacks are literally useless compared to the 75% slowmo for 12 secs with a 30 sec cd XD The only way to make them really useful and fun to play is using the passive dmg of the legendary short circuit to deal more dmg, but that's not quickhacking, it's just dmg increase of about 600 on every hit, with whatever weapon. But I can really agree on the importance of exploring the world, it's soooo beautiful :D
Quickhacks aren't useless tho. If you don't like completing jobs where you never have to fire a gun then quickhacks aren't for you. But build into intelligence high enough & that's exactly what you can do. Take out groups of enemies without lifting a finger. Particularly Short Circuit is extremely powerful. At max lvl it has a 6000+ dps & makes it so every weapon you use gets the same boost. That means one shot/hit kills no matter the weapon...
@@HoYuPhat Actually it doesn't get the same bonus on every weapon, it has the 6k dmg of the legendary version when hacking and the dmg of the uncommon version when using weapons. Still strong af tho. I know that it's just my opinion and there are a lot of people liking quickhacks, but I just think that there are really few different builds for quickhacks. Actually I only know one, which is stealth quickhack, built around the 200% quickhack dmg when not in combat and mainly using contagion, short circuit and whatever else you like (I like synapse burnout, suicide, overheat and detonate grenade the most). But you cannot do a build that uses quickhack as main dmg source without playing it as stealth, bc you just have no reason to go in face to face combat with it. That's all I meant to say, I can only name one quickhack build, one build that combines quickhacks with blades (almost only stealth quickhacks like memory whipe or reboot optics) and the rest of builds I could name you are only builds with intelligence on 3. Gunslinger (Malorian Arms build), Samurai (Satori build), Speed Demon (L69-Zhuo build), Wallfucker (Widow Maker build), etc. are all barely able to use quickhacks and that's why I was annoyed that he assumed that people usually level intelligence.
@@HoYuPhat I even forgot a few more builds: You can also go for Monowires, Mantisblades or Gorilla arms as main dmg source and none of them uses quickhacks (unless you combine stealth quickhack and monowires with the ninjutsu perk)
@@grakalamontages5066 Who came up with the names for these "builds?" What's my build called? I've got 16 in Intelligence 20 in Reflexes 20 in Tech 4 in Body & 11 in cool. So what is that? I'll tell you what. Fucking everything up on very hard mode using quickhacks, revolvers, shotguns, ARs, snipers, mantis blades & whatever the fuck I want build!!🤣🤣🤣
Just recently stumbled across your channel and almost subbed but this video killed it for me, everyone can play differently and that's okay and from the gameplay your build is low tier at best
That's okay man, I don't consider myself an expert on the game and I enjoy variety of combat styles, as a result I don't specialize in one specific branch. To each their own, thank you for stopping by though!
I agree with you on all pints, except the hacking cyberware pats. I have no use for it as a tech ninja edgerunner. I just chop heads off left and right. With that said, I did test out everything in the game and me being a stealth type of player in most games, found stealth in cyberpunk 2077, extremely boring and even broken, as the enemy never drops weapons when you stealth kill them and never get back any thrown knives when looting the body. Hacking only came in useful for pinging and distracting enemies, especially early on, as our characters are at their weakest. Crafting, exploring (mostly on foot, to find all the hidden loot locations), and choping heads off with my overpowered Katana and overpowered gear (over 6000 defense) and my second heart perk, makes me nearly indestructible. Anyway, my final stats are 20 tech. 18 cool, 18 body, 12 reflexes and 3 intelligence. I also spent the first 500 hours just exploring, exploring and more exploring, while reaching 50 street creed just in Watson alone and reached level 27 as well, which I then maxed out too, while exploring my second location, Westbrook. After 505 hours of play, I'n just now starting the second act of the main story, with my character all maxed out and while equipped with all legendary weapons and gear. I still gave many areas to explore more in depth too and am saving the badlands area for last. I will be 100% be choosing the Panam Palmer ending too. I will purchase all the cars towards the end of my playthrough as well, as I already have 4 free cars, 1 free motorcycle and at least 1 more guaranteed free car (the most expensive car) coming thru a Panam quest. It's how I choose to play and how I enjoy to play. We are all different when it comes to doing things. Back to the game. P.S. I found the braindance sequences, the most boring thing at all and really hate them. Peace out!
1: Well that depends on the class youre playing. (Personally I don't find the quickhacks to be all that great.) 2: Absolutely agreed. Ive always gone for the Fireproof Coating. (The clothing mod shown in the video isnt the immuntity mod) 3: Pfft. You make so much money anyway, even more now than before. Never had a problem with splashing some money on my garage. And I drivem the ALL the time. 4: Ive NEVER needed a consumable buff, even on Insane. Even food and drink is unnecessary with that one body perk. Going into the menu to drink and eat to regen is a hassle. Sure maybe its a waste of a perk, but Id rather have the qol. 5: Not really an issue anymore since the mod slots are now locked, but before, absolutely. 6: Agreed. 7: Im not sure what you really mean by this. But I agree that one needs to complement your playstyle with your augments. 8: Disagree. The LCPD missions are the ones you should prioritize. They often have unique blueprints for guns. 9: Yup. I found myself driving to places more often than not, just like in GTA and unlike say Skyrim. Greetings from someone who have 400-600 hours (you probably have more than me now XD )
