10 Mistakes You Never Noticed in Full House 

I always noticed the ice cream one and as a child I just assumed the ice cream was too frozen to move lol

Another big mistake: Stephanie/Jodie had hear ears pierced from the very beginning, but a few seasons in they did an episode where Kimmy pierced her ears.

I've watched Full House my entire life, I still do to this day, but I never noticed any of these continuity mistakes, all except for the name change of Jesse and him not graduating from High School.

The biggest one I noticed was a complete rewrite for Jesse’s history. In one episode he’s celebrating his high school reunion, but then later in another season he claims he quit high school 🤷‍♀️

I don't believe the one about Jesse calling Joey the wrong name. Many times, Jesse called him "Joseph", which Joey is a nickname for. I believe that's what he said.

Another continuity error: Cousin Steve was played by DJ's real life brother Kirk Cameron, and this episode was filmed at the same time Kirk Cameron was on Growing Pains. But in Fuller House, Kimmy and DJ find a Growing Pains poster of him and they call him Kirk Cameron and Kimmy says she had a huge crush on him. I think they missed the boat on that one, it would have been funny if DJ had said, "He looks exactly like my cousin Steve." But I guess they forgot about Cousin Steve altogether. Just like with other TV show cousins that were around one episode and never mentioned again as if they never existed.

I recognized all of these episodes thirty years after seeing them. Yet I can't remember things I need to know every day.

Not a mistake, but, the hockey player in the poster on DJ's wall is Candace Cameron's future husband Valeri Bure. Dave Coulier, (Joey), a huge hockey fan, introduced them at a charity hockey game. For years I wondered why DJ had a hockey poster on her wall.🤔

This was actually a really good video, didn’t take forever explaining things or anything, straight to the point and interesting!

One of the continuity errors I caught was in Season 1, they remodeled the garage/ basement into Joey's room, with the bed against the wall that used to be the garage door, inferring they closed it off and replaced the door with windows, yet every time an exterior shot of the house is shown, the garage door is still there.

The double wink one has been bothering me for years now

its crazy how films like this kind of just get lost in time. We forget we even watched them because so much time has passed and life is just so different and always evolving. Nice to get that nostalgia hit from uploads like this.

I've noticed a lot of these lol The double wink thing has always bothered me. The continuity things always bothered me, too. The biggest one is definitely Jesse's high school history. And Stephanie has always had pierced ears, so it was pointless to make an episode dedicated to her getting them pierced behind her father's back. How about the attic? Pretty sure the door leading to it only appeared in the fourth season, when Jesse proposed, because he and Becky would need a place to stay to keep them in the house with everyone else. And don't even get me started on the Fuller House continuity errors. For starters, the twins' bedroom suddenly moved from one end of the attic to the other and shrunk to about a quarter of the original size. Then in the last season, suddenly the attic isn't even fixed up anymore, but resembles its pre-renovated phase from the original Full House before Jesse fixed it up.

It’s crazy how you can clearly see a boom mic on camera and especially from the shadows outside.

I think Jesse could've said "Joseph" which he often called Joey. Maybe I'm wrong though.

I don't know if it is a mistake or what but, in early episodes, there is a certificate on DJ's wall. The winner of the certificate is listed as being named Jennifer.

I honestly thought I was the only one who noticed the double wink

In the very first episode DJ says that her friend Kimmy has sisters(I can’t remember how many but it was more than two) and that they all had their own rooms, but later in the series the sisters have all vanished and all Kimmy has is her annoying brother that we never see.

The only continuity errors or props errors I've always noticed is the ice cream and (of course) the sudden change of Jesse's last name

1:30. That is because Candice flubbed the line. She was supposed to say "Do you wanna go Ice Skating?" NOT "Do you wanna go Ice Skating Tomorrow?" ...but for some reason no one working on the show caught it.

Just started making my way through Full House again (hadn't watched since I was a child) and did notice the error with the garage/Joey's room. It's quite annoying when episodes get aired out of order like this...and it's not as though this has improved over the years. Just try watching Miraculous Ladybug in the order it's aired. Every season there's an episode that makes leaves some viewers asking "Did I miss something?" And the answer is both yes and no.

This was neat to watch. Full House was one of my absolute favorite shows growing up... Even today at almost 34 years old... I will definitely sometimes watch reruns. Actually... I can honestly say without exaggeration... I have seen every episode at least once. (Most more than once.) Somehow missed these though. Thanks for posting. 😊 Side note. The one about the continuity error when it comes to the factor that the basement magically becomes unrenovated again... yes I agree you can totally tell that it was out of order. What I'm wondering is has any cast or crew member notice this? Not saying it really matters... Because obviously it's not something they can fix now... it would just be kind of neat to know which cast members/crew members noticed and when did they notice.

The beret issue from episode 1 could be because of how they refilmed it from the original pilot. The unaired pilot had John Posey. When they reshot it, they only reshot the scenes that had Danny in it when they recast Bon Saget. The rest of the scenes were left as is so could be part of it.

I watched the show when it aired when I was a kid/teen I rewatched the whole series again recently with my teenage daughter and didn't notice any of these 😂

at 1:57 he didn't say Jesse he said Joseph which is his real name

You forgot a big one: In the pilot episode, DJ mentions that Kimmy has three sisters. Later on, Kimmy only a brother named Garth (who is older than her). In the sequel series, Garth is apparently forgotten and Kimmy suddenly has a younger brother named Jimmy, whom Stephanie says she remembers from when they were kids. You'd think Jeff Franklin would've remembered these details.

When the girls get their room renovated by Vicki’s mom Liz Larson, the episode after that it’s back to the old style. Also, when Stephanie drives the car though the kitchen window, you can see a bunch of wood and such in the kitchen staircase. They kept using the living room staircase in that episode instead of the kitchen

In "I've got a secret" when Michelle, Lisa, Derek and Aaron are in Michelle's room, in one clip, you see no sock on Michelle's foot, the next clip, it's magically back on, then poof, it disappeared again

Another continuity error, in season 1, Stephanie caught the chicken pox and then Joey and Jesse caught them from her, however, in later seasons when Joey was the opening comedy act for Wayne Newton, Joey’s father mentioned that when he had watched cartoons with Joey as a child when he was sick with the chicken pox. Maybe they should have put a little more effort into thinking about what Joey was actually sick with when he watched cartoons with his father as a child.

the funniest part is that they either didnt catch these mistakes when airing, or they just loved the take so much that they didnt wanna risk losing such a good take by doing it again. Also the fact that film was expensive back then

Another one I remember is an episode from 1993 when Kimmy says she has tickets to WreslteMania 6 but WrestleMania 6 was in 1990 not 1993

My life has meaning now that I have learned about these. Well,the first 3 anyway. I realized my mistake in clicking this too late.

I feel like the ice cream bowls were less of a mistake and more like carelessness, because they could’ve shown John Stamos shoving the ice cream in his shirt, and then, when it cut back to him, they could’ve replaced it with real ice cream in between shoots.

The line from DJ about going ice skating.. that's the only blooper i knew of out of all these.

I do remember noticing the winking mistake when I was a kid lol.

A mistake I noticed is in one of the intro clips (idk what they're called but it's before the theme song starts) where Joey is blowing bubbles for Nicky and Alex, Joey is sitting on the couch, then Michelle walks in and he suddenly sitting on the coffee table, and then in the next shot he's sitting on the couch again

Another mistake was the episode when Stephanie was playing on the baseball team and when she hit the ball u can clearly see the stunt double hit it and run

Jesse had a change in last names. First season it was Cochran and then it changed to Katsopolis.

I recently noticed the timeline of Jesse and Becky's kids made no sense. They went from infants at the end of season 5 to toddlers at the beginning of season 6 and they were already considering starting pre-school at some point in season 6.

I've noticed boom mikes too. Quite easy to spot in sitcoms, never known why though. They aren't common in other shows as much.

There’s a continuity scene in the episode where Michelle was with her friends (Season 8, episode 4, “I’ve got a Secret”) where in the beginning when Michelle and her friends were doing there handshake or as they called it “mutating”, in a scene, Michelle has both socks on, then another scene she only had one sock on and one off, then another scene they’re both back on. I’ve noticed that as a kid and it bothers me so much haha

One you missed: The episode where Jesse admits he dropped out of high school so he had to take classes to make up for it, only to be stuck on a train on the day of his graduation. In an earlier episode where Jesse meets his old high school girlfriend, he has a flash back to his high school graduation dance right before he breaks up with his gf. So did he graduate from high school or didn't he?

It's so funny. I remember justifying some of these mistakes as a kid or even telling myself that I misunderstood. For the garage, I just said to myself that it is a different part of the house. For Jesse saying the toontown thing, I said oh he must be talking to himself. The ice cream? Oh, that's just how thick the ice cream is. That's why it hasn't spilled. I don't remember the shadows or their address mentioned. Little DJ saying tomorrow was her being silly and cute. 😅

Actually noticed #10 too when I did a watch through nonstop and was like that ain’t right

Jesse: Jesse…. Joey: My name is Joey… How did they not realize that mistake? I’m surprised they didn’t laugh at that.

Maybe the wink/double wink thing was a mistake, but I think it led to comedy in that jesse would have said she wants to go on a date with him no matter what the plan was meant to be.

I remember there was one episode where I think either Jesse,Joey, or Danny was talking to Michelle or tucking Michelle in bed and Stephanie can be seen in the hallway standing in her bee suit waiting to come in and say her lines

I think the one where Jesse supposedly calls Joey “Jesse” he’s actually saying Joesph but In a quick and lazy way. He says it a lot to Joey when he’s being goofy.

They switched Mary-Kate and Ashley in some scenes, and it shows. One of the girls mastered pronouncing her R's before the other one, so sometimes Michelle would say "color" perfectly, but then later on she says "coloh". Also, Ashley is right-handed while Mary Kate is a leftie, so watch when they switch hands doing things.

I've never noticed any of these but I swear in one of the episodes Jesse calls Stephanie DJ or DJ Stephanie and he says it kinda low I can't remember what episode but I remember that scene

And, after the episode where they made Joey's new room, one or two episodes later, I think it was the first or one of the first episodes with Kimmy, DJ and Kimmy were talking in the garage and Stephanie was on the stairs... It was an old setup, like Joey's own room never happened or was a dream

The layout of house so wrong. No matter what stairs they take, they end up same part upstairs. Where is the door go do to attic? If you take stairs down to basement/garage, the way the stairs are, you would be under half the kitchen and half under the yard. Why is there a second set of stairs down there that goes to the right? They never use it plus it would lead nowhere, unless there is a door that takes you outside. But in the backyard scenes, the only door is the kitchen door. So stairs that lead nowhere I guess.

One thing I thought odd was the attic, from inside it looks big but fom the outside it doesnt look like there is enough room from the 2nd floor to the roof for it to be that big.

My girl watches this show, and she recently noticed that when they made the garage Joeys room, they had a bathroom put in but when Jesse takes the garage over for his studio, the bathroom is suddenly gone, and than in fuller house, when Stephanie is sleeping in the garage and max wakes her up, the bathroom is back again.

Not sure if it's a mistake, but in the episode where they're fixing up a park there are extras wiping down a slide in the background, and one drops his rag and it slides down the slide where he immediately goes to pick it back up.

There was an mistake in S4E20: After Jesse accepts to move back home, Becky calls for everyone to come upstairs, but the cast can be seen in the doorway waiting for their cue to enter the room.

The most glaring continuity error in history is during fuller house during that ridiculous dance scene where they are dancing our on the street of the house and it looks NOTHING even close to how it should lol
