UPDATE: It has come to my attention that Allyson Watterson's remains were discovered today on a property in unincorporated North Plains, and in the 15800 block of NW Corey Road. @@susanbrown2909 I used to love going to parks/woods. I even stayed in the Angeles National Forest for 3 days with my women's group. I now think about all my exploring alone out there and other places. No more. My experience at 16 in the woods for a 2 week expedition on Andros Island, Bahamas, should have taught me a lesson. Our 2 guides that lived on the island came up missing and was never found right before we got there. So many bizarre things happened in those woods and the ocean for the 2 weeks we were there that I sent my Bermuda Triangle story to Gian Quasar years ago. Young and adventurous, now much older and wiser.
@Raccoon So going hiking, camping, or climbing is considered stupid to you? I agree that most of these people either got lost, hurt, or isolated due to inexperience in the outdoors, but that doesn't mean they were stupid. Just naive and inexperienced.
There is an apex predator out there. It is not human. It is unclassified and carnivorous. It is smarter than you and it's hunting tool is advanced mind-powers and high-intelligence. I'm a Native to the area that #1 happened in. I also volunteered as part of the search party for both Terrance and Connie. Both had very similar circumstances. Connie literally walked away from a hunting camp that she was setting up right before hunting season. She was going to be the cook at the camp. She had done it every year. Her dog followed her and her tracks and that of the dog simply wondered down the path and then went off the trail. As a native to the area, I simply don't understand either Terrance or Connie leaving the trails. They were not hunting and had no reason to wonder off the trail. Usually you see this in lost hunters, and children, not anyone else. We searched for predator tracks and signs of them and didn't find anything. No Bears, wolves, Mountain lions, or anything else in the immediate area. While the area has predators, none seemed to be around when these two went missing. Her dog turned up 3 weeks later 14 miles from where she disappeared from. Theres an old legend about the mountain causing air drifts that can on a whim make an area have very little oxygen. The phenomenon from a science side is deemed as nothing more than an urban legend. Personally I think the altitude mixed in with sudden oxygen loss caused them to suffer from cerebral hypoxia. Basically a lack of oxygen to their brains caused the hypoxia that can produce light headedness, changes in mood, personality, and judgement. In extreme cases they forget where they are, forget words, and make poor decisions. These are all symptoms of cerebral hypoxia. In many cases people with cerebral hypoxia eventually go unconscious. If you go unconscious off trail in the middle of nowhere, the odds of finding you are slim to none.
Explain why the search dogs couldn't find them then? They lost the scent. Impossible. Something else is happening to these people. And it can control or manipulate the weather to it seems.
My main issues with Woods case is that the police did not search his laptop, or cell phone records. Since the police did not want to classify him as "endangered, " bank records could not be looked at either. A journal was left behind in his belongings, where Woods kept referencing a "great reset." I find this very interesting. What did that mean? We'll never know. His family in Maryland felt helpless. Just so sad. I cannot imagine being on a search team and coming up empty handed. I think for many search and rescue teams having to call off the search after many days, or months even, is such a heartbreaking and gutwrenching decision to make. I saw recent news (WBIR, Knoxville) footage of a retired ranger who helped in the Dennis Martin case in 1969. He said the groundcover in the Smokies increases nearly 3 inches a year, and just reflected on that sense of loss in not bringing a helpless child home.
@@icantthinkofaname15 Search dogs are notorious for losing the scent of missing people. That's not impossible, its actually more likely the search dogs lose the scent over finding a person. That's just statistics. Generally speaking by the time trained search dogs arrive, local searchers, friends, family, first responders, local LEOs have searched the area and have already destroyed most scent and tracks from those missing. It makes the job for the search dogs extremely difficult. While its easy and enticing to believe in a Yeti running around kidnapping people or a mass murderer living in the woods preying on lost hikers, the honest answer is Occam's Razor. In the case of Connie, she simply walked down the trail, and then wondered off the trail. The evidence and signs don't point to anything else happening to her. She didn't appear to be running from anything. There was no tracks of anything else. The area she was in was not accessible to cars, mostly only accessible on horseback only. This would rule out most unwanted human predators. She was a former forest ranger and used to the area. The hunters heard her on the radio that day, but said that they couldn't understand what she was saying. This leads more to my theory that a lack of oxygen to her brain caused her to grab the radio knowing that something was wrong, but due to the lack of oxygen she didn't make any sense over the radio. Cerebral hypoxia especially in older people can cause seizures and strokes. Its highly possible she suffered a stroke and tried to find help. While suffering from Cerebral Hypoxia, she was making poor decisions on leaving the camp to travel to find help. I have long studied the weather argument in missing cases. And the reason poor weather is often noted in missing cases is because the person wasn't found. Had it been nice weather, would the person have been found? The answer is that they would be more likely to be found in nice weather. Its a factor, not a cause.
@@jackshyt4 you say it could be from lack of oxygen, but why isn't everyone going through that who go to the mountains? And also, explain the profile points that David p found on all the missing people. I think your theory could happen, but not in these cases.
Hey Rusty! Thank you for your hard work. These stories remind us that we don't know everything about Earth Mother's "Other" mysteries. Those involving humans who dissapear without a trace are most compelling to me. I am a retired wilderness guide. I've spent my whole life in the forest. I was also a Park Ranger for about five years. I left service feeling frustrated by the gag orders that come with the job. There are many stories that never get told because of this federal Gag Order. Many logger friends have also told stories of strange things in the woods that they cannot divulge.due to Gag Orders from the boss! I wonder how many of these lost people would be found if the Fed, State and corporation's would lift these Gag Orders. Thanks again Rusty!

I don’t know how anybody could go out into the wilderness without a gun alone. It’s mind boggling. Not just for protection against 4 legged creatures but 2 legged ones too. I suspect many of these people were killed by predators and consumed that’s why nothing is ever found.

I live smack in the middle of the Mt. Hood National forest at the top of the pass.. I'm a landscape photographer and a hiker. These and missing 411 scare the crap out of me sometimes when I'm out alone in the boonies

A body has been recovered and think it’s possibly Allyson Watterson in the area personal items were found. The boyfriend was arrested for the vehicle they were in because it was stolen.
Gina Prosecutors filed probation violation charges of unlawful use of a weapon, assault, coercion and a firearm probation from a 2017 case against Garland. This is from a former case of the boyfriends. Ive read he didn’t report her missing for 24 hours and that seems strange. I hope he didn’t harm her but why wait 24 hours to report her missing?

One thing I will add to chat is with animal attacks there will always be traces of what happen, to much blood and torn clothing plus if the body was dragged than the trail of blood would be there for dogs to pick up on and track for miles which tells me most of these are not animal attacks

It must suck to go missing, just imagine the fear and terror they must feel not knowing what the hell is going on... To make one of these cases worse is the fact that for case number 6 the dude went missing on his birthday.

I have hiked, camped, hunted and fished in remote areas of Mn, MI, WI. for 40+ years. Many times on a solo trip, sometimes with others. I try to remain situationally aware and avoid strangers. I carry a firearm unless it's not allowed like in a park. As a life long hunter I am quite comfortable with and proficient in using firearms. I avoid risky situations like rock climbing and fast water especially if alone. Accidents and predators of all kinds are a possibility I keep in mind. I arrange for a check-in every evening unless it's not possible.
They have found remains of Alyson n announced it today. The items found in March were not found exactly where her body was. The news just doesn't specify that for some reason. Such beautiful nature photos combined with tragic stories of loss... I hope the family and friends of these lost souls can get closure ... Channels like this give a voice to the people that are often so easily forgotten. Just ordinary good people who are lost somewhere and the pain of their loved ones for loosing them in the most horrific of circumstances. Not knowing what happened to your husband, child, friend... the waiting for them to come home ... or until the remains are found ...
Nothing to do with a national park but I was wandering around the Wiltshire UK countryside during quarantine and was often aware of how isolated it was and the fact that I was a female on my own!
Love to listen to these stories, how funny that the Missing 411 doesn't ever mention alot of the given facts or what some of the people that witness strange images following them, even running up to them while their running away have talked about or the people that have been found later on talk about. I know not every disappearance is related to any type of cryptic or strange encounter, but let's face it, something is taking alot of these people, alot more advanced physically and mentally then we are and thinks of us as either sport or cattle to experiment on. How many kids and adults that have gone missing and their bodies were found later on had been experimented on or had missing body parts and the cuts had no cauterized burns or any surface entry wounds or marks on the body but had missing organs or perforated holes in the organs, more than we will ever know, but the point is everytime someone goes into a national forest, they take the chance of becoming the next sport or experiment for whatever or whoever resides in the national forest. And I bet money that the government knows who exactly is taking these people, funny how the forest department says they don't keep records on the people that go missing each year, yet police, FBI, CIA and every other government agency do.
I think the people who vanish get to see what it is. Whatever it is, it's intelligent and doesn't make any mistakes. Someone out there has to have clues to what it is or even answers. I'm dying to figure out wth it is.
Well the Missing 411 only accounts for about 1% of missing person cases. However, some people in the field of paranormal research take the FBIs yearly missing person number and parade it around as accurately representing the number of missing. But they're wrong. That FBI don't remove people who were found or people who disappear multiple times in a year. So, for example, if a child goes to a friend's house after school and parents report him missing, the FBI counts that as a missing person even though the child was recovered. And if say a teen runs away from home 3 times in a year, each time that teen runaway they are counted as missing. And David Paulides absolutely covers the bizarre stories in his books. In one book, he covered the story of a boy lost in the woods for 3 days. When the boy was found, alive and well, they asked him where he had been and he said he was with his Grandma inside a tree. Now the Grandma was not camping with them, but she had gone camping in that exact spot a few weeks earlier but neither the boy or his parents knew about her trip. So if grandma wasn't there, who was this grandma that kept the boy in a tree. The sad reality is when people are found alive, everyone is so happy they don't ask where the person was. And when it comes to children, if they say a bear, a dog, or grandma cared for them while missing it is dismissed as imaginings. No one is listening to what these people, especially children, are saying.

I was a SAR volunteer, here in Washington State, and all the members had concealed carry and said they never went out in the woods with anything less then a 45. I have also had numerous encounters with BF they are real all right. ❤️❤️❤️
🤔🤔Lars mintink disappeared after he was captured on footage running out of the airport the same happened in the terrance woods case but I believe terrance may have gotten caught up in something bad and was running from ppl unknown to him unfortunately he hasn't been found I hope both thes strange mysteries is solved soon the families can have peace and can rest soooo sad😭😢😭😢

Pertaining to the 1st case: How in the hell do you "become separated" from your girlfriend while hiking in the wilderness. That seems awful damned strange.......perhaps they got into an argument to cause them to "separate".

Ladies: do NOT place yourself in such a vulnerable position by being all alone, whether it's in the wilderness or a nasty, dangerous city, especially at night, no matter HOW "angry" you get or "how tough" you think you are.
@@americanchick8897 BINGO. I don't get it either dear. Just as Dave Paulides always says: there's usually "a point of separation". Even if it's only a moment. If it were me out there, ( knowing what we know now, thanks to Dave & others like Rusty ), I'd have my wife & kids all tied to each other and then tied to me by their waist with string ( the way they did with young kids in the old days ) ...& have em all right in front of me at all times. The National Park Service & Department of the Interior are so wicked for refusing to work with Dave, it's despicable. Take care & God Bless.
I still remember when Asha went missing since that's the area where I'm from and have hiked Crowders Mountain many times and will be hitting there again come fall. My brother is a Kings Mountain police officer and helped look for her. Still breaks my heart
