2:55 this tip isnt really important because the mini map in the top right dissapears when in combat and reappears when out of it. so just make sure the map is there when you killed a bunch great vid though! you just got another sub :)
Looking back, it's true, once you're out of combat, the mini-map reappears. However, the whole point of tip #8 is to showcase a method to run faster while out of combat. Realizing the room is clear once you run faster is just a consequence from having said option enabled. I personally find myself moving constantly during combat. The last thing I pay attention to is the mini-map, lol. Though it's good to know that! It never occurred to me up until you mentioned it. Cheers for that and thank you for the feedback!
