@@wickedroller thank you i thought i was the only one that noticed, the palisade is 3k less than the highlander. i think toyotas reliability history alone is worth the extra 3k
Ascent and Outlander are the only ones with ground clearance over 8.5 If I were driving in the city or suburbs, I'd just get a minivan. I just want a third row and a little ground clearance for dirt roads.
Although I agree that the Journey is basically a piece of junk, the title of this video is “most affordable” so for a large family that’s in a pinch, a Toyota Highlander would be out of the question, even if it was a used one.
pilot, palisade, and subaru in that order are the only vehicles worth buying if you keep them and rack up mileage. The rest of them will fall apart sooner than later, especially when you get near or go over 100,000 miles. Couldn't pay me to own one of those Journey's
Idk i am confident that the subaru will outlast the palisade. I think subarus issue is people do not know how to take care of them and because subaru has grown so much in the last 10 years its a lot of new people to subaru. They easily last 200k with proper maintenance
Why is an atlas on here if it takes premium fuel? Thats 30% higher fuel cost. That equates to 16mpg if you are actually doing 22mpg... thats horrible. Minimum of 10k more in fuel over 200k miles
Almost forgot about this channel since been long time I seen anything noteworthy. Sad it has passed on, was a great alternative channel to some of the other knucklehead auto review channels out there. Oh well.
I think you would be better off spending another 7 grand if you can and getting a Durango instead of a Journey with the much better Engine and Transmission.
