@@gabeaddisonmusic have u seen the NXT uk championship It's the best looking belt in wwe currently And dont tell me that the north American championship is a bad looking title
@@moosebear6372 Wow, if you ever watched an IWGP Heavyweight Championship match, you would understand why it is one of the most prestigious championship titles in history. The championship being in Japan has nothing to do with the match quality. You can't honestly sit here and tell me that the IWGP Heavyweight Championship is not one of the most beautiful and important titles in pro wrestling history.
The AEW belt design is well crafted and has personality. It's manly, elegant, opulent and original. It looks like a professional sport belt, not a commercial toy as WWE printed all its belts recently. And it actually looks very good on its first champion, Chris Jericho. It suits him, it gives him even more prestige than he already has. Overall, an excellent choice for its design and first champion!
I dont really find njpw championships that beautiful. The only one I really like is the us championship, and to an extent the intercontinental championship. I dont find the heavyweight championship that good. I feel the same as the aew championship, its growing on me but it's not as gorgeous as most ppl.
They should let the champion pick which historic one they hold so it says something about the character and gives everyone a chance to see their favorite version.
For me the Big Gold Belt (The WCW/NWA/WWE World Heavyweight Championship Belt) is the best looking title ever in Pro Wrestling. When someone has that championship belt, it made the titleholder look money and larger than life. It gives that champion a legit feel and prestigious.
I bought the replica Undisputed Title belt, and it is ENORMOUS! Even bigger than the BGB, and it's beautiful. Really does make you feel like a real champion.
I almost turned it off when they put the eco on the list. And although I appreciate the MDB, they could have chosen two others that are definitely deserving.
1. “The Big Gold Belt” 2. WWF IC Belt 3. Winged Eagle 4. WCW United States Belt 5. ECW World Heavyweight Belt (1998-2006) 6. TNA World Tag Team Belt (Original Version) 7. ECW World Tag Team Belt (1998-2001) 8. WCW World Tag Team Belt (1997-2001) 9. NWA World Tag Team Belt 10. TNA Legends Championship Honorable Mentions: Smoking Skull Belt WCW World TV Belt (1996-2000) NXT UK Tag Team Belt WWF European Belt
@@bfan82 Although Cena's spinner had a lot of prestige because legends like Edge, RVD, HHH, Orton, Jeff Hardy, Batista, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Cm Punk and The Rock won it.
@@MoviesNGames007uk agreed. I also like the HOG Tag Team titles that look like giant sheriff badges, & the WWF Hardcore title. But they're an acquired taste lol
@@jimmisawa97 Yea, was unique at the time. Probably my favourite wrestler title (wayyyyy better than Cena's World/US & Jeff Hardy's TNA World titles). It didn't over stay it's welcome like Cena's version of the WWE title either.
I know I'm alone when I say this and I'll die on this hill by myself if I have to, but I absolutely loved the spinning belt. Thank you John Cena for creating that masterpiece.
DontTaze MeBro you’re not the only one....I love that belt....if you go back and watch nwa wrestling in 85/86....it was called the world tv title....mainly because it was the supplemental title to the us belt in the territory era....
@@kurze8297 I don't mind the current design for the main WWE Championship, the black leather works well with it... the rest however, yeah way to be lazy and not allow your belts to stand out.
The Knockout’s title is one of my fav belts either in the white or the black a very underrated design. TNA’s World title was also underrated. I was pissed off when Sting debuted a new belt in 2011 and Eric Young found the original belt in the rubbish.
@@christophermadison5289 if my memory serves me right, the custom smoking skull belt is what replaced the old belt after Stone Cold chucked it in the river, and when the Rock got his hands on that belt he returned the favour. Two belts chucked in rivers inside a year. Wrestlers were a bit more careless back then!
@@MrCrow42 notice everyone thinks "the original is automatically better" but that's not always true. The wwe version has a bigger flag then the wcw version which gives it a more patriotic feel, plus wwes version is nearly 20 years old, wcw version didnt even last 10 years
@@quinjuanmurray7528 well to be honest its way more than that, the WCW U.S title was really like the NWA u.s title , hence the title lasted way more than 10 years, and the real reason many people love it cause its essentially the winged eagle plus the IC title combined
Ya the European title, ic belt, attitude era wwf title, wcws tv title and last tag belts all look better than alot of belts on this list, and come on the nwa belt on here is a joke that belt is terrible maybe it's because I grew up with those belts in my opinion they are awesome
The IWGP Heavyweight title is absolutely beautiful. It really does relay the nobility of the belt. And the intercontinental is amazing. Also shoutout to the WWE Cruiserweight championship. Purple never looked so damn good. AEW and the former Impact Grand Championship complete the Top 5 for me.
I like the AEW title, but I do agree with the opinions that they shot a bit close to the IWGP Heavyweight belt. I like it better than anything else i'll be able to see on weekly US TV this fall though.
I know this is old, but I think the WWF/E Undisputed Championship deserved a spot on the list, or at least an honorable mention. A very underrated design
The old silver magnum TA 1985 United States heavyweight championship the one they gave him after he defeated wahoo McDaniels inside the steel cage to win the belt
The NXT designs are so cool, they are my favorite designs of belts in Wrestling, especially the beautiful North American Championship, it’s amazing looking.
The eco-friendly belt is definitely a classic. The color scheme alone is just divine. So sublime and coordinated. Add to that the dark woodgrain on the main plate and the soft brown of the hemp strap and it's delightful to look at. One of the most visually pleasing championship belts ever.
I really like the current tag team title belts. They are nice to look at, like the renders for the Note 10. The division may not be comparable to what it once was, but I like those belts!
I was always (and even now) a fan of the NWA Unites States heavyweight championship. Just a beautiful belt done right in my opinion. And even then it was simple, the Western States Heritage Title was nice. The last WCCW heavyweight strap looked good too.
I don't know if I'd put the eco-belt on this list, but at least it had the advantage of being distinctive from the other top belts of that year. It was slightly more than just the same logo on a different color background....
The Wwf Undisputed belt should be on the list probably the most underrated belt in the History of Wrestling belts. Anyways the winged eagle and undisputed belts are the 2 best looking belts ever no arguments.
The "spinner" WWE Championship made some people look like real champion but for some people (like The Undertaker [yes i know he never had the belt]) it would look like a toy. Right ?!
It looked like a toy on everyone. It was like a prize in one of those claw machine games where you try to pull toys out of a glass case using a hand control.
7:24 WCW only stopped using the Big Gold belt because Ric Flair still owned the physical belt and wasn't with the company at the time. They started using it again as soon as he came back.
@@thederricklamonexperience it wasn't to have the belt made it was just a deposit that the champion would put down on the title as a way to not have them run off with it. When Herd fired Flair he refused to pay Ric back the deposit so Ric kept the belt. That's what lead to the other WCW Championship belt being made.
I'd put the WWF Big Eagle Belt somewhere in the top 5. Not only for it's appearance, but because of the wrestlers that carried it and for how popular the industry was when it was being used.
Speaking of the Oak & Hemp Belt, why hasn't Daniel Bryan replaced the Tag Championship Belts with an Eco-Friendly version? I know, I know. It's because Vince already forgot about the whole gimmick.
don't a agree, i like it's very 70s looking, ideal for a throw away prop. Plus it'll be weird if it looked really sexy considering how unimportant and the belt is.
