In 5 states knuckle dusters are illegal lol. They should either have them banned in all states or unbanned in all states except where the crime rate is the highest.
"The brass knuckles are banned in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Canada, Croatia, Cryprus, Germany, France, Hungary, Israel, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, *_THE US_* , Greece, and Singapore, but are strangely Legal in *The United States.* bruh.
NigiriSalmonSushi no he’s just saying he thinks it’s funny that he thinks that those are lethal if he were trying to seem badass he’s say oh I have a turret and five full auto guns
omar the boi no, he never said they were illegal and not illegal, he said they were BANNED, but not illegal. If something is banned, it is against the law to use, if something is illegal, the item itself is against the law, meaning that the use of it and ownership of it are against the law. You can't use brass knuckles, but you can own them as a collector's item, making them banned, but not illegal. Same thing with butterfly knives in some cases.
Zachary Taylor I know right? Especially ones like the chain whip and butterfly knives which are signatures of certain martial arts. I'd prefer Brass Knuckle or a Switchblade to self-defense over handguns, given how expensive it really is to legally own and maintane a firearm.
Knives are honestly the worst form of self defense, I was stabbed eight times and I still managed to strangle a mugger. It takes up to an hour to bleed out. I'd take a hammer or bat over a knife anyday.
He made a lot of slip ups like that actually. He kept saying legal instead of illegal and at the end he said you're glad they dont exist in real life lol. Like they do exist they're just illegal in some parts of the world. Im sure he had something else written down in the script that would of made more sense...probably
The narrators an idiot isn't he. Like, how can something be "extremely deadly" or "extremely illegal?" Deadly is deadly. It either kills you or it doesn't ffs! Likewise with illegality! He's trying waaay too hard to pack out the drama
Lionheart Criminals will suffer the repercussions from breaking those laws. Thats the point of laws Otherwise why make Murder illegal? Not like Criminals are going to obey those laws.
Ok so lets say person A goes to rob a 711 and kills the clerk and several other people and runs, yes hopefully they will catch him and he will suffer the consequence for his actions. now lets say there is an armed person B that stops or kills person A before he can kill anyone, one CRIMINAL dies while 3, 4 maybe 5 other people live. now lets say persons C, D, and E are all armed citizens. do you really think person A will even attempt. and if he does then natural selection should have done its job LONG ago
+Pingas Pearce ok i see where this is going, the guns are just going to get bigger and bigger until our common criminal is either carrying RPGs or driving in a tank.....to rob a 711. OR we can get a grip on reality and say NO a criminal is NOT going to rob a 711 or any place knowing people there are armed. unless they either have a death wish or are really just that dumb.
Why is this video called "10 Most Dangerous Melee Weapons You're Glad Are Illegal" no this are not the most dangerous melee weapons(some of them really are not good at all for offensive use), and who's glad that there illegal, it's not stopping any criminal from using them. Clearly the person in this video here doesn't really know what they're talking about (seems to me like he should of done more research on this topic before making videos like this is).
Imma have to agree with you dude, his points were basically "Man, this weapon is so illegal because it's so dangerous, which is why it's so illegal. I mean, just look at the danger of this weapon, you can tell why it's illegal." It literally sounds like he looked at pictures of the weapons and described them all in one take with no research.
Yeah I thought that's what happened too, I could of named way more deadlier melee weapons then what was talked about in this video. (I mean really "nun chucks," why not a mace, war hammer, or just a simple long sword.)
yeah, instead of nunchucks (which are completely illegal in four states and four countries), literally any sword, spear, or club weapon would be a more reasonable choice for the video.
Ooo, I'm so glad all these interesting things are illegal. That ensures that ONLY criminals will have them. I feel so fucking safe now. Actually though, if you bring a knife to my shotgun party, chances are I'll win.
They are illegal to PRODUCE as well. And besides guns or tasers are better for self defense than any of these weapons. So if you bring any of these to a policeman with a gun you will be shot.
A random Lizard they can be produced or bought illegally elsewhere and if they are so harmless why ensure that only those who don't follow the law can have them?
That is the exact reason I'm for the right to bear arms. If it's illegal, then the criminals will have them and I have fuck-diddly with which to protect myself.
Yet I have a katana, cavalry sword, and not to mention a pushblade which are deadlier than the karambit and such, yet I legally own them. Also why did he use the apache pistol for his videos image even though its not in the list? Its literally the ultimate conceal carry pisrol that's not a lemon sqweezer pistol
Top Ramen The thing is, cars are used to get to places faster, not to kill shit. Would you cut vegetables with a ballistic knife? No, because ballistic knife and all the weapons in this list are designed directly to kill. This is why theyre illegal. Because killing is illegal.
I saw one of those wolverine claw gloves at a yard sale for five dollars. That yard sale also had a cane where you twist the top and full length sword came out. Plus a whole bunch of other crazy knife stuff.
As a kid,my older sister went to Africa for a vacation (why, I do not know) but she brought me home a whip that had a wooden handle that you could twist off and there was a 12” dagger inside but the blade wasn’t like a regular knife blade, it was a three sided triangle shaped that went from the point to about 3/4” at the bottom…lol great present for an 8 year old.
Saying that "I'm glad weapons don't exist" is living in denial since they always will and let's say that they where successfully removed from the civilian sphere they still will exist in the hands of those in power in order to keep the population in check and in compliance and producing the goods that fills their pockets and make their luxurious and comfortable lives more enjoyable while you work as a miserable slave in a make believe reality created by the powers to be. Remember: free men keep and have weapons, the slaves don't.
Being someone who collects weapons. I feel that you should do some more research on the weapons before discussing them. Most of these are legal in the U.S.
1:31 "Now, brass knuckles are Illegal in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Canada, Croatia, Cypress, Germany, France, Hungary, Israel, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, The US, Greece, and Singapore, but are actually legal, in the United States." Wait, but you just said they were banned in the US.
When i found out that i could not be turned into An Attack helicopter ( as i do sexually identify as one) i got crippling depression because one of my child hood dreams was to drop hot sticky loads upon disgusting foreigners. When i Was diagnosed with crippling depression i came to youtube to cheer me up, i just clicked on the first video (this one) and one of the first few words were " You are Glad". But I was not glad at that moment, so i find this very offensive.
"Karambit are illegal" Realizes you can buy sharp CSGO karambit replicas Realizes karambits are useless against a gun or throwing knife "Flip knives are illegal" You can buy them in the supermarket
go to 1:40 , he makes the mistake of adding US to the list of countries the brass knuckles would be ILLEGAL to be in but a few seconds later, he says, "...but are actually legal in the united states. Like this if you noticed too
Asher Martinez because hes a clueless idiot who knows nothing about tools(or weapons as he'd call them) to make them seem scary and rely on other clueless idiots
just to start an argument; im pro gun control in the same way i wouldn't let toddlers play with power tools. some people legitimately should not have them. and when u find out a mass shooter spent most of his life in and out of therapy... maybe don't give that guy a gun? and basic education about them should be in schools. a story of a cop (who's fucking job involves handling a gun) shooting himself because he's too stupid to holster the damn thing, should not exist outside of comedy. and don't get me started on people that think pulling the slide, then dropping the mag, is how u unload a fucking gun. i knew better than that before i was 10, and i grew up in the god damned UK. those glorified chimps are why america is renowned as a stupid country.
AK48smoker well ya no shit you shouldnt guns to maniacs and idiots but the amount of restrictions on guns is ridiculous. I dont think gun control shouldnt be there but it should be minimal. Just like test before youre allowed to buy a gun so we dont sell guns to maniacs and idiots
Yet they're common items and can also be lethal when put into the wrong hands. Even a pointed stick can be lethal. You know, almost everything can be lethal and be turned into weapons. So why ban these.
X_Roni_X the balisong is a majestic blade but the illegal part here STUPID PEOPLE SAYING OHH DUDE LET ME TRY THIS I SEEN THIS IN A MOVIE AND VIDEOGAME ONCE IM SURE ITS NOT THAT HARD TO USE. I MEAN REALLY BALISONGS SHOULD ONLY BE BOUGHT BY PEOPLE WHO KNOW OR WHO ARE GOING TO HAVE A TRAINER TO HELP THEM KNOW HOW TO USE IT
Before I clicked on this video, I said to myself, "I swear if the switchblade is on this list then I'm done with life". The reason why switchblades are so "deadly" as people describe them is because of the movies. No one nowadays is creeping up on you in a dark ally in the middle queens NY trying to kill you. But 40-60 years ago, maybe.
So I think we can assume that the guy who made this vid has never handled any knife other than a kitchen knife. Most switchblades and butterfly knives are made so that they can be opened without harming the user. Once they are open, then they are no more dangerous than any other knife. Ballistic knives aren't like the things you see on Call of Duty. They are ridiculously weak and more of a novelty than anything. Karambits aren't any more deadly than any other knife. Just because it has a curved end doesn't make it much different to a regular knife.
I lived in Bosnia a long time ago and I have experienced true shit there. So I guess if you have brass knuckles there, the cops don't give a shit. And my favorite Weapon is the Butterfly knife, like you have to have a lot of skill to do that trick when holsting it.
The one on the thumbnail isn't illegal. In fact, it was ww1 & ww2 concealable weapon meant for trench raiding & a spy weapon. It isn't used today due to better weapons out there.
coming from the USA i think all these weapons are perfectly fine what many ppl fail to see is a gun, knife , nunchucks , brass knuckles arent dangerous at all they are just stationary items. They only get dangerous when a stupid person decides he wants to pick it up but then again the dude talking is Canadian so bless his heart he lives in a "safe place" lol.
i own all of them!!!! and im a minor!!!! literally, no internet bullshit, i have brass knuckles (14 bucks, budk.com) on my pc desk 2 feet from me right now, a telescopic taser baton in my coat pocket (20 bucks ship to door) and a karambit (10 bucks on amazon) on my belt. Edit: i also have a butterfly knife, stilleto, chinese rope dart (both my brother and i do korean and chinese martial arts). All i don't own is a ballistic knife, they cost as much as my whole collection (250 bucks) or elk rifle (600 bucks)
well, they were banned in many countries due to the fact that quite a few morons cut themselves while playing with them. :D :D :D This is not a joke. I am glad to live in a country where there is no law restriction on blades of any kind. And guess what - the streets are not full of dead people and hospitals are not full of stabbed or cut people.
Actually I am against banning anything, a person should be able to defend them selves with anything they deem fit to do the job including these weapons.
@mik saf well look at London and Paris and compare there gun crime to the State of New York. Paris 1233 London 1455 New York State 966 Now that is just gun crime if you add violent crime the numbers are much higher. But we can do this regular people that have saved lives with a gun. Paris 0 London 0 New York State 2461 incidents where a citizen used a gun to save stop a crime.
I agree with the fact to not ban guns, but these are very dangerous melee weapons that Civilians should not use without training. Guns are easier to use then a chain whip or knife. Banning these weapons only stops people from hurting themselves
Anyone who is considered a knife man and don't know about this the injection knife should check this shit out because it is definitely the deadliest and the most illegal knife to ever exist.
Got 3 karambits (hook blade knives). In my ninjitsu school, these are considered sacred weapons. Everybody has to have one on them at all times. The colored blade ones are only allowed to those students who have had to use one in self defense or accomplishments. They are earned. Blue for those who have deescalated their attacker, red for those who have had to go all the way in self defense. White blade only for sensei, and gold for 5 years of dedication to the school. I am the sensei and require my students to carry one
