Ben Spagnuolo see how dumb people can be?? these people are about business making money, but we laugh because they dont showcase an extensive wardrobe. i hope u have more money than them..
I got a chance to go into the shop. Both Les and Seth were there. Really friendly guys. I purchased a very nice set of earrings for my wife as a surprise. Seth was really helpful and gave me a good deal.
@@b_nast19 it doesn’t have to be Yelp- it’s a much broader public forum, so your implication that the OP shouldn’t be posting his comment here is false and unfounded.
@@littlebigman2770 it was deliberately kept from the audience for suspense - it was written on a piece of paper turned away from the camera, but it might be public record somewhere?
Just called em, and Ashley no longer works there.. but Seth and Les are there like champs every day. They love to have visitors to take pics with!!! I implore everyone to go and visit!
They are WAY better than payday lenders. Payday loans screw people and communities. You may not get top dollar from pawning, but nobody goes into debt.
For the show to make them look like they cared.those guitars were profited and sold at $12,000. And they think they are angels for the poor. He knew he was ripping them off and they just needed the money.
Les must've not known because he probably wouldn't do it. Those guitars must've been so valuable that he felt rotten keeping it all, so he threw them an extra grand, but probably kept another 5k for himself.
I'm still shocked that they actually gave that women 10k for that ruby. Yes I know it's worth a lot more than that but she had no idea thinking 100 would be ok anything she could get they could have really ripped her raw.
Unlike Pawn Stars, where they offer a fair price to customers, Hardcore Pawn takes truly desperate people and literally gives them pennies on the dollar. I feel sorry for many of the people that end up at this pawn store. It literally borders on criminal activity.
That's the point of a pawn shop. They're designed to give you quick cash, but less than the item is worth so they can sell it for more. Literally every pawn shop does it. How do you think they stay in business?
@@drewizkoollikeicecre He didn't steal the card. That Mantle card is behind another card in the sleeve so it's very easy to miss it. Seth was looking at the front of the cards, he wasn't reading the backs so he missed it. On top of that, it's not even the '52 Topps Mantle. Looked like a later year card of his that you can buy for $50 dollars to a couple $100 dollars. It could even be a Mantle card printed in the 1980's that isn't worth anything at all. Either way Seth didn't steal it, he just didn't see it in there.
Matt Fite Pawn shops give offers, you take the offer, pawn shop raises price to make profit, you sign a pawn agreement contract to give up your right of ownership and pass it to the pawn shop. If you wish to get more money, sell it yourself because surprise surprise, people do that. It's called flipping.
The color of a Bricklin is embedded throughout the resin from which the body is made. Nobody has to paint a Bricklin; surface imperfections are buffed out, revealing a pristine colored finish. If Les and company deducted $$$ from the value for a total repaint, the seller was screwed.
That Les guy said in an interview that the pawn star guys have to call in experts, we are the experts. When she sold the guitars he told his son to look them up online. I guess if you have the internet everyone is an expert in everything.
Everything and one off you. Are. Amazing. Love. Yall. All. And. I've. Learned alote. I've. Been messing around with silver. And. Gold .my. Whole. Life thank. You. All.. cckustoms. Kiddez
What impresses me about this show is how they seem to get a big ego boost out of getting over on the people that patronize their store. They even seem to be a little cocky about it. What's so special about taking advantage of people who are desperate for money. They don't have any admirable skills, just a faulty conscious, a quality that will benefit you financial in our economic culture.
What about the guy who pawned his Rolls Royce valued at $80.000 when he pawned it for money to pay for his daughter's sweet 16th birthday?? Any reason it was left out? Just wondering bud 😉👍
Bricklins didn’t need painted. They had a fiberglass and resin body. Color was embedded directly in its resin body panels. If the car got scratched, all that was needed was a good polishing.
Hardcore pawn prays upon poor people, they know how poor and desperate some citizens are and they fully take advantage of the fact the state of Detroit simply has no money!
Bullsh1t, if the cameras didn't film the guitar seller segment, you wouldn't see Seth offering the extra cash, it's only because it was caught on film he had to do this otherwise that entire family who owns the pawn shop would have kept the money. You know it, I know it.
I really liked the show, some of the stuff that came in was just unbelievable. Some of the customers, well that was all a BONUS. I found it very entertaining AND some times very RUFF, but iv'e found thats some times will be part of LIFE.
