i think it's funny how the announcer makes it sound like these women are amazing and motivational, but the title still says "10 most extreme..." hahaha
"Awesome roll models" for what?--How big & strong women can get if they workout & take tons of steroids? I fail to see where glorifying this much steroid abuse, can be a role model for anyone.
Steroids, I have no way of believing these ladies were able to reach this type of physique with out some form of doping. From what I understand the chemical / hormonal makeup of a woman is not capable of obtaining this type of body structure and mass. I only wonder if they have given any thought to the medical risks they have put themselves in.
Keta Peek- As AFKnoob stated in response to yours. It all boils down to Testosterone. Even most males can't even reach this level without doping. I'm no doctor but I can read and from what I have learned which is common knowledge in the industry doping is an ultimate death sentence. Yes, with doping you can take a woman and produce the effects shown by these woman. Don't get me wrong the woman even with the doping still has to earn the bodies you have seen in this article. Without doping, and a woman preforms this type of physical training on a regular basses. It produces a very lean and trim body physique, and in most cases it results in the lose of body mass in woman. The problem however is once you start down this path it is my understanding there is no return. The woman's body once exposed to the level of doping required to reach these levels does ill reversible effects on her body as it does in males. The effects of the drugs change on the body lead to traumatic medical conditions which have lead to people dying at a every young age. No telling when a person will suffer from the effects of the doping. In most cases the person doping suffers some sort of body catastrophic condition IE. heart attack, aneurism, tumors. This list can go on and on. Then unexpectedly the person doping just dies. Some times this takes years some times it is every short period of time. Because of the use of doping and the results of the medical conditions from doping. This is why I think 2 types of body building contest started. The first was the standard body building contest which was to see whom could get the largest muscle mass to body fat ratio. The next was the physical conditioning contest. This was a contest on how trim and athletic a woman could get her body physique. Now from my prospective, this was a sexy great contest because it showed how if a women was able to push herself without drugs to the most optimum physical and trim condition. However even this type of contest promoted problems with women. IE. bulimia and other eating disorders to achieve the level of body to fat ratio needed to reach the level of being able to compete.
Simple as that: if any woman can obtain such a muscel mass without illegal doping with testosterone applications every female muscle sporter like weight lifter, wrestler a.s.o. would look like them today. This has definitely nothing to do with feminity anymore. They are hormon monsters and nothing else!
There is women that do look like men that's muscular naturally, but ..on this video clear to realize they definitely putting something in their body's.. U really can't categorize them with man or women..the natural part they had is completely gone..I applaud them for working out trying to stay in shape but this isn't healthy by far
The facts are off.. Kristy Hawkins is the strongest woman in this line up.. She set an official world record in the squat at 490 at 165 with a 1328 total.
Sad to say that what makes these women stand out is their extreme use of anabolic steroids. I am all in favour of fitness, working hard at the gym and a healthy eating regimen. What these women are doing is literally a sin. Adult individuals must always be allowed to do what they please as long as they are not hurting anyone and what these women are putting out there publicly is wrong. Not only are they not being truthful about HOW they got to look this way, they are influencing other young girls and women NEGATIVELY. This is BEYOND dangerous because most of the side effects of anabolic steroid use is not reversible and can seriously shorten life span. And, I am an EQUAL opportunity 'hater' of this so called sport because on the men's side of bodybuilding, these SAME practices are very negative and very disgraceful.
The math is terribly wrong here. It goes from Virginia Sanchez at #8 to Alina Popa at #4. Then he says Alina Popa is 160, and squats 400lbs which is almost "4x her body weight." Try again Bro, 400/160=2.5
"why do women look like this? " "eww" two things 1. when was body building ever sexy?! 😂 2. about 70% of the US is obese and y'all are grossed out by muscle?👀
I completely agree with you on the bodybuilding part, but your second statement is the stupidest shit I've heard all day. Do you think a lot of women look like the women seen in this video? Do you think people choose to be fat? To be honest, there are people that like fat women, and there are people that like masculine women, there are also people that dislike them too. That being said, obesity and this type of muscle is not normal. And less than 25% of the U.S population is obese. (still a lot)
TheNoobWithEbola how is it stupid? I'm saying all these girls are commenting "at least I'm just fat" as if that's cute. Sure this isn't the picture of health but I mean to make fun of a person because they have muscle is stupid And I know comparing obesity and bodybuilding are both bad. But for people to sit there and act like obesity is better is dumb too
it has nothing to do with America. More people work out here, than in any country on earth. More people eat healthy than anywhere. Where do you think bodybuilding started out? But too much is not sexy.
I have a question for all who condemn steroid use? What do you all think about all of these people walking around guzzling energy drinks all day long? (ie 5 hr energy/monster, etc.). Excess use/overdoses of caffeine have been proven to cause many health issues, including heart attack. Yet no one denounces energy drink use/overuse.... Thoughts?
Most of the comments ive read are about steroid abuse, probably be more intune to think why these women decided they even needed steroids to bulk up, ============== Keeping up with the men body builders!
I so love the neanderthal geniuses who come on these pages and comment about how bodybuilders are taking steroids, gee ya think!? Thanks for pointing that out to all the rest of us cuz you guys are clearly more knowledgeable than the rest of the non-comatose people walking the earth! As for comments of sexy, gross, hot, disgusting, whatever, and yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but speaking as a bodybuilder, i/we are not here to impress you! I've lifted for 39 years and never once cared about anyone else's opinion and i would venture to say, that neither do any other bodybuilders. We have pride in ourselves, which seems to be lacking for many who comment on sites like this, and in our accomplishments achieved, with or without steroids. Oh, by the way, to those geniuses out there, not all bodybuilders use steroids....i know that's contrary to your cromagnon thinking that to gain muscle, one must use steroids, it starts by prying your lazy ass off the couch and actually going to a gym. Stop bad mouthing others for their achievements, just to boost your own pathetic self-worth, and try to improve yourselves. And most of all, if you don't find bodybuilders nice to look at, what the hell are you doing here wasting yours and our time? There are plenty of BBW sites out there that you may find appealing!!! LOL
