Resident Evil Revelations isn't a port, the 3DS version is the original version. They came out with the HD port for WiiU, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One later on.
@@ZealousChuck There is also an accessory for the normal 3ds to add another analogic on the right. it was meant to be useful for other games, but at the end was useful only for RER.
DQVIII, Tales of the Abyss, MGS3D, and specially Xenoblade Chronicles are massive ports, i honestly still can't believe they managed to put the entire XC1 in the 3DS.
@@fillerbunnyninjashark271 By todays hardware standart they aren't, but the 3ds is hardware from 2011, the PS4 didn't even exist back then, and in the portable world we had the DSi or the PSP, none really capable of PS2's or Wii's 3D games.
Great video! The 3ds homebrew scene has more life than ever now! (At least in my opinion) It's genuinely impressive how many homebrew developers are making all of these huge ports to the system, I even recently saw that someone is remaking Undertale from scratch to make it playable on the 3ds. I'm super looking into that
I love my 3DS XL - I completed both the Bravely Defaults on it. Played DQ7 remake and abandoned it halfway... played DQ8 and abandoned it halfway. Completed SMT Soul Hackers... it also has the outstanding SMT4 and SMT4 Apocalypse. 3DS and Vita have been great outlets for me in general.
Big up fantastic video bro ♥️ Sorry to hear about your ankle. I hope you're recovering well. The Vita is my favourite but i also love the 3DS consoles.
Did you know? RE Revelations was originally released for 3DS. Even though even else has already said it, I'm also going to say it, because I cannot read anyone else's comments.
Thanks for the great video! I still play my 3DS on almost a daily basis. Revelations and DD Country Returns are ones of my favorite games. I saw that Snake eater may be played with the Circle Pad Pro. Which port games may be played with it?
Resident Evil Revelations isn't a port from the Wii u. This was a 3DS timed exclusive. The wii u and other consoles ended up getting an enhanced port years later. This game was also compatible with the circle pad pro back on the original 3DS and preorders came with a clip on case featuring an eye that blinks when you look at it from different angles. It certainly was a high quality game. Felt like I was playing a gamecube game or something even better.
Great Video as always dude! (im glad to see sponsors are starting to send you things. I hope you can make that paper and keep the videos coming) im normally here for vita content, but this was great too. pushing me to get a 3DS!
Have to mention Super Street Fighter IV, which is impressive as heck, especially considering it's a launch title with online multiplayer and which also supports 60 FPS!
I actually brought my Wii U and plugged it in when I was a passenger in the car, at the airport, and at a job where I had a lot of down time...played exclusively on the Gamepad screen in those situations. Of course that was before Switch existed.
You can get a stable 30fps on MGS3D with overclocking and a 30fps "cheat". I also HIGHLY recommend changing out the original C-stick nub for one of those mouse cursor nubs found on Lenovo laptops. They provide much better grip and make the C-stick 100x better.
3ds is a very nice console, i never tried 3d until reciently and was great but just a novelty, there are other ports like dementium, kirby extra epic yard, some mods and the red viper virtual boy emulator.
Is it really _that_ impossible if the Dreamcast is also receiving some of these same ports? The others do seem quite marvelous from a technological perspective, however, so there is that!
What... no Dragon Quest 8? I mean... sure... the graphics were somewhat gimped and it was slightly censored (leave it to Nintendo to censor a game that was originally rated T)... but those those things were more than made up for by the fact that it had a TON of quality of life improvements, visible monsters on the overworld and made playable a character that EVERYONE who's a fan of the game wanted to be able to play. :D
Yes Half Life work fine on my normal 3DS, i test it. I think with a DOS Emulator, u can play many old dos games. I test this with my DSI, it worked with all early DOS Games. (i have video from this)
Original release was in another platform, for example Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, the original version is on the Wii, they literally put an entire home console game of the previous generation on the portable system.
@@ZealousChuck i tried to replay both versions recently and that shake was really annoying, i beat the game years ago tho, with the 30 fps you get used to it after a while the problem is that because the low graphics you can't appreciate the beauty of the game as good, both are playable but i'm just playing the original trilogy while waiting for the hd remake on the switch
@@ZealousChuck yea I play the revelations 2 on ps vita it’s pretty good I want to play RE 4 on ps vita though but I’ve been playing GTA SA on vita it looks amazing
@@xervantezxvi5022 RE4 port for Vita or 3DS would be awesome but probably is very unlikely. If you do want a handheld RE4, I highly recommend it on the Switch Lite. The port is fantastic.
MGS3D was the most filthy game that I play on 3DS even on my N3DSXL Overclocked + L2 still bad performances, Go try SMT IV and SMT IVA game also try Dementium Remastered.
Ez and well worth it! However generally recommended not to go over 128gb because the bigger it is, the more likely it'll slow the systems functions down. Plus if you want to fill the SD card up with games then that will slow your home screen down as well. But 128gb is a perfect size that will comfortably fit around 80 native games plus dozens of ds games and gba, SNES, virtual boy and other retro games. Also modded 3ds means you can mod games to improve them, make Majora's Mask 3d the definitive version!
Look how washed out the screen is on those low quality New 2DS TN screens. I suggest you look for a New 3DS XL with the rare dual IPS screens. It has better colors, better blacks, better viewing angles, better color reproduction, better image quality, etc
