@@syria0110 - Conversly in my 58 years on the planet this is the first time I’ve ever heard it pronounced the way the narrator pronounces it! Come to Scotland or watch old episodes of ‘Porridge’ to hear it correctly like the people in the video.
Funnily enough, travelling home to Scotland just to listen to how one person's name is pronounced differently to how it is spelled seems like a bit of a waste. As does watching every video with the sole intention to pick up on the smallest of errors in cadence or pronunciation. But there you go...

Just like to point out as a Scot the sheer ignorance of the voice over actor to pronounce McKay as ‘mick kay” in spite of the fact that the correct pronunciation is used by the news reader from the clip, Nicola Sturgeon and another politician… not defending the man himself but English ignorance to deliberately mispronounce Scottish names is indefensible
I never liked the Derek Mackey thing. In Scotland, you're an adult at 16 in every sense. All he did was flirt with a 16 year old man on social media. To me, there's no victim. It wasn't in the public interest for anyone to know.
