#10 is already outdated. He was investigated, found to be doing nothing illegal and not fined last week.

The Brand/Ross scandal was neither ridiculous nor absurd. Brand immediately resigned after speaking to Sachs and Ross was fired after refusing to apologise after a 12 week suspension without pay. What they did was wrong at every level and after 5 years they acknowledged that and admitted they had lost perspective of reality.

Brand and Ross are grubby yobbos.

What do you mean by saying that in the Thorpe scandal 'the actual hitman' was never caught? Andrew Newton was convicted in 1976 of killing Rinka, and was a prosecution witness at Thorpe's trial.

Surprised there was no mention of ‘Plebgate’ AKA ‘Gategate’. For context, in 2012 Tory MP Andrew Mitchell got into an argument with police security outside downing street after they asked him to exit the street via the pedestrian gate instead of the main gate. It became a scandal because during the argument he apparently called the policemen “plebs”. It damaged his reputation so much that he eventually resigned. However, it was later revealed that one of the policemen who told the the story was not on duty and falsified their report! As a consequence the bobby was sentenced to be imprisoned for a year for giving false testimony. In fact multiple police officers were arrested and charged with misconduct over the incident and had apparently conspired to get revenge on the MP as he had had been rude to them at the gates on multiple occasions - with one whistleblower saying that the police even said “we can stitch him up”. Till this day people are still unsure how much either the police or Andrew Mitchell were telling the truth about what happened.

What about the serious matter of Pastygate where David Cameron lied about eating a Cornish pasty...? 😊

The Russell Brand scandal was stupid. Nothing that was said was offensive at all. There was no complaints at the time of broadcast. All the complaints came AFTER a newspaper (most likely the daily mail) made a story out of it. Also, it was hardly the nail in the mainstream career of Brand as he went to Hollywood after that and did multiple big sellout stand up tours.
